I'm willing to bet that if they re-released songs like this one today and just pretended that it hadn't already existed for a quarter century, they would be just as successful as they were back then. Sadly, since most younger folks who haven't already been aware the existence of this song (or others from that time period) rarely ever get exposed to it, a lot of good music gradually fades into obscurity.
