my name is João Paulo, I am a Brazilian engineering student, I am doing scientific research on External Post-Tension,
The research I am doing will compare data from physical tests (computational tests) and computational tests using the finite element method through ABAQUS software.
I wonder if the hope made in the video has documents containing the results as well as the material used for me to use as a technical reference for my research citations, your work will be very valuable for the content of my research.
note: my english is not one of the best, but I think it is well understood!
Why the external post tension cables are installed in the middle depth of the beam. Flexure support requirements is located at bottom of it. It significantly increase its capacity if these cables are located in the bottom part
because te maximum moment is located in the center of the span and in the extremes the moment is null, so de cable has a variable position fom the center at the extremes to the bottom at the center
