The same video is shared on the padge of Sika Canada. I asked a question there, but I would like to ast the same question here: How do you think, that a concrete beam without any rebars in the bottom side can be representative? If you would like to prove anithyng about CarboDur (which is a very good product by the way) please try to compare the strengthened beam with a normally reinforced concrete beam, othervise the comparison is insignificant.
+MrKrsDan The intention of this video is not to replicate a real strengthening situation.
As indicated by you, the concrete member does not comprise a real, representative internal steel reinforcement. However, please note that none of the rest of parameters as shown in the video (cross section of the beam, length, kind of support, loading scheme...) try to reproduce a real scenario.
As you know, any real static loading test for a FRP-strengthened RC member leads to useful information as a consequence of the resulting data obtained (e.g. stresses, deformations, ultimate loads...), but any resulting video will not show any real, explicit performance of the carbon fibre element.
I that case, we suggest to check other existing Sika videos focused on real design situations (e.g. th-cam.com/video/B94NcApDwnQ/w-d-xo.html). Best regards, Astrid Schneider (Marketing)

Which you use to beam raping in frp thickness
What is the thickness in mm of frp required for a 2 ft width and 7 m length beam
The weights of the last 2 guys shouldn't be included as they are standing on the support.
