    I'm a euc rider but having a scooter for my friends might get them out on ride. Experiencing a thrilling ride is hard to explain by watching it or hearing words about it.
    Another great vid Mr Hsiang.

    I'm so glad I discovered your channel! I recently bought the InMotion S1 and absolutely love it! It's my first scooter so at 55yo I didn't want anything too powerful but I'm loving my new scooter. The S1 seems very similar but has great dual suspension. Dual springs at the back and dual shock absorbers at the front and the S1's ride is excellent. It's also saving me a fortune on parking! Taiwan looks beautiful and the footage at the end in NYC is amazing! Keep up the great work! You're a great presenter! Craig - Australia

    I bought the Climber cause i have hills where i live and i saw people not getting up with their single motor scoots. I was able to test ride on a similar hill and it did it fine. I now have a second electric scoot with 2 x 900 watt motors and suspension for my long commute and keep the Climber for everything else. I usually charge somewhere between 30 and 40 km but I ride in D mode with a top speed of 25kph not S mode with a top of 35kph. The other day i did an especially long ride with some errands and totalled 39.2 kilometers and had 14% battery left. When i go shopping i put my basket on the deck and there is my trolley. Small enough so no cafe has ever denied me. In fact no shop has denied me entry. Only one steep footpath requires me to ride up it in S mode. Bumpiness isn't as bad as you might imagine. I am only bothered by two areas where i ride, one is like corrugations znd the other is such a horrendous footpath, but if i know i will go there i take my other scoot instead. Yes i would like bigger range, but that comes with weight and cost issues. So i have my other scoot for 60km real world range (can do more but i charge it after 60) and my Climber for everything else. Oh yeah, the Climber is very quiet. So many people tell me they do not hear me coming. Light enough to carry up stairs an throw in the car, i really like it. But the thing is, i do not expect it to be anything other than what it is.

    Cool, I am due to visit Taiwan next year to see my folks too. I still ride an e-scooter every now and then. I have a Levy (slooow), Dualtron and a etwoW which is my favorite. It has two great advantages over the EUC. One, it has a stable surface to stand on. Two, it will never cut out and dump you face first into the ground!

    • @truthiscensored
      @truthiscensored 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The scooter can flip you over the handle bars if you hit the front brake hard enough...so technically you can still fall on your face on a scooter

    • @georgieman1910
      @georgieman1910 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      @@truthiscensored Brakes are usually at the back wheel and when you brake you need to bear down and drop your stance. You should NOT stand with feet together but staggered apart, either lead leg or goofy, like a boxing stance. If you stand like a dork or a robot, then yeah you will flip over the handles. I have only seen truly clumsy and uncoordinated people fall like that. I admit I have fallen toward the front in the past, but only because the front wheel hit an imperfection like a huge bump or a deep pothole. This is one disadvantage with small wheeled scooters - they are susceptible to defects on the road. In one particular instance, I landed face first because my front wheel went into a pothole and the giant duffel bag I was carrying flipped over my head throwing my balance forward. It has also happened one when riding a Citibike. Front wheel slammed into a deep pothole, front braked hard and threw me over. Luckily the entire bike catapulted over me and I rolled on the street. Not a scratch on me. But that was a bike. A freak accident. Generally still, with scooters, I always ride staggered stance and it helps every time.

    It's definitely one wheel for me all the way, never had any interest for scooters....however, as ever, an awesone waste of 15 minutes of my time - great review, keep the great stuff coming dude 😃👍

    I just ordered this e-scooter. I found this review engaging and very informative. Hsiang really talked me through the advantages and disadvantages of a dual motor scooter with no suspension. After riding a more expensive scooter (stolen, darn it) I'm familiar with the compromise of trading suspension for torque and reliability. I was also pleasantly surprised that Climber is now discounted $300 on the Inmotion site and on Amazon. Also another $50 off for a first-time purchase. This puts the Climber at $649.00 and makes it the best value for price I have found in this catagory.

    I recently just bought one of these. Got it on black friday for 150 bucks off. It's very useful, but charging can be a bit wonky. Like I have to unplug it, turn it on for a minute, and plug it back in for it to start charging past 70%. Never really reaches 100. I don't know why.

      @@MattSeconds I wish I would've got it at that price, but I was so tired of walking. After having it for months now though, I already need something much faster. 22mph just isn't cutting it anymore.

    • @MattSeconds
      @MattSeconds 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @JeshieWafflez I actually didnt get it, but it is that price right now lol. I first got a $250 scooter, tried it out and new inwouldnt be satisfied with the speed and torque, etc.. Started doing research, wound up getting the Inokim OXO on black friday at BestBuy for $999. Its on Sale from $2,000 down to $1,300 right now, but it does go down to $999 at BestBuy, maybe even sometime in the next few weeks, if youre looking for something faster. Top speed of around 41 mph, pretty good acceleration and torque, and of course when it comes to commuting distances its nice to be able to hit the cruise control at around 40mph and get places faster than a regular scooter. Fyi, the OXO was $2,800 for a long time when it came out, so its quite a machine.
