    Just adding my advice. Please lower camera or change the angle. The yarn is dark and it's hard to see where you are making those fpdc in the stitches. It's a beautiful bag, but I think this is going to be hard for moderate beginners.😉

    Oh man, I am a beginner & having trouble with figuring out where to be put my hook on rows 20-37. It's so hard to tell with the angle in the video. I'm having a hard time understanding where to put my hook for the two skipped stitches & where to put the hook for the new set of stitches each time. Does that make sense? I know it may sound so obvious , but I'm struggling! Any advice??

    What's the difference between this bag and the day at the market bag?

    Hi, this looks like a lovely pattern. Can Peaches and Cream 100% cotton yarn be used?

    • @HeathersCraftCorner
      @HeathersCraftCorner  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, that should be just fine. It's about the same weight as the yarn used in the tutorial. :)

      @@HeathersCraftCorner Yes, the cotton yarn would make the tote bag heavier in weight, but last longer, correct?

      @@HeathersCraftCorner Could you suggest a cotton/acrylic brand of yarn for me, please, that could be ordered from Amazon.

      I was referring to how the gauge would be. I've used both yarns and it would be comparable. I don't think it would necessarily last longer, but it should work just fine.

      I'd actually caution against ordering on Amazon for this project as it will usually require more than one skein and you can't get a guaranteed matching dye lot. I've never received matching dye lots when ordering on Amazon. I've always had to either pick them up in store or order directly from the manufacturer's websites. It costs a little more, but you're guaranteed that they'll match.

    Isn’t this the same pattern as THE DAY AT THE MARKET bag ?

    • @HeathersCraftCorner
      @HeathersCraftCorner  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No. This pattern has a different shape to the bottom and a different stitch pattern for the main body. They do have a similar style, though.

      Love your bags and pattern. I made the green one for one daughter in law and about to make the red one for my daughter. Thank you for sharing ❤❤
