It's 3:49 AM for me and my file is literally "Gravity Falls Lazy Pack I Made Instead Of Sleeping" because it is themed after Gravity Falls and will (I'm not done) have only 3 different textures.
Love the tutorial!!!! For 19.4 the mcmeta code is { "pack": { "pack_format": 13, "description": "Default 1.19.4 Resource Pack" } } for newer versions just keep upping the pack format number till it works 👍
For anyone struggling with the pack saying: "this was made for a newer version" or "this was made for an older version", simply change in the packmcmeta file, change the pack format to the following: 1 for 1.6.1-1.8.9, 2 for 1.9-1.10.2, 3 for 1.11-1.12.2, 4 for 1.13-1.14.4, 5 for 1.15-1.16.1, 6 for 1.16.2-1.16.5, 7 for 1.17 and above. hopefully this helped for anyone who was pulling their hair out like i was :)

man I have no idea how I figured out how to do this stuff originally back in like 2017 ish but I am so thankful for this video now that I wanna try again. I made 1 resource pack for a server I had with some friends and never went back to it. didn't remember enything at all but now that I've watched this I think I have a better grasp on it than I ever did originally :)

I want my elytra to both match my skin while retaining the original shape of my resource pack, so thank you much.

almost a year ago, i watched this vid and learned alot abt packs and really understood it at a deeper level. now i can do stuff like animating and randomized mob spwaning and a little bit of modeling an i have not done it, but i understand sound replacement
TIP: if the pack won’t show in the Minecraft resource packs screen, delete pack.mcmeta and copy/paste an existing one in from an already working resource pack, and it worked for me.
