    Hlilarious, I have almosst the same headlight bought of amazon, by almost the same I mean the design is the same. The guy wears the lamp wrong on his cap, itˋs supposed to sit on the underside of the shield. So you can use the adjustability to face the lamp downwards where you are looking. If you blind someone with the light, USE THE SENSOR TO SHUT IT OFF! Those guys bought a design and brought in a guy to present it who does not even understand the design. Well, they didnˋt tell him, because they didnˋt design it. Anyways, itˋs a good design and I am happy nitecore went that way to get it into their line and equip it with good interior. Looking forward to get one. The Amazon product is already pretty good and I actually wished i could have this with better ledˋs and even better battery.

    Thanks for the video. Hvac tech that was about to order several. Doesn't work for me unfortunately.
    I'm not sure why flashlight manufacturers don't make a cap light for service technicians. Lol
    Pretty sure there's probably more service technicians out there than hiker/campers. And we use these things everyday. EVERYDAY
    I can help with what features work and don't work for us if you're interested.

      Hi there, was thinking of giving buying this cap light for work. What are the cons of it?

    • @scottylawson9472
      @scottylawson9472 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@asterfield02this light has a lot of the same useless features that most hat lights have, so it's no better or worse than most others. Tilt is unnecessary, but if it's going to tilt, it should pivot from the front so it can point down. Pointing up is useless.
      Motion sensor is pointless and adds complexity. Accidentally hit motion button and light WILL randomly turn on and off in tight spaces.
      Red/flashing lights, again add complexity and are useless for trade work.
      Ideally, for me, a cap light would not pivot and have only two modes. One higher lumen spot light for getting around in attics and crawls, and a lower lumen flood for working up close, and a memory of last used mode.
      Oh and a decent dust/waterproof rating.

      @@scottylawson9472 Thank you for the reply. I have actually bought it already. This guy in the video was unfortunately was clipping the flashlight upside down, it does go below the hat and tilt downwards. You are correct with the motion sensor, if it is on and you move your head closer to where you are looking, it gets accidentally turned off.

    I would really like to know and I'm sure other people would appreciate a headlight or headlamp that has UV capabilities. Do you have anything planned to make such a thing reality?

    • @NitecoreStore
      @NitecoreStore  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Not at the moment but if you still want a light with UV capabilities that is light and portable, we have the Tiki Keychain UV light. As far as a headlamp with UV capabilities, I can definitely suggest it to the manufacturer.

    From the looks of it, it appears that its meant to clip under the bill of the hat, rather than above it. Would explain why the lens appears to angle slightly towards the button side of the device.

    Does it remember or revert to the last mode when you turn it off and back on? If I have it on red, turn the light off, turn it back on, will the first step be red or do you have to cycle through the 4 modes every time?

    • @NitecoreStore
      @NitecoreStore  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Kinda, it remembers the output whenever it is on the IR sensor however if you turn the light off after the 3 second window then you will need to cycle through the brightnesses again.

      Completely depends on the scenario and situation you'd need the flashlight for, but as far as personal preference I'd choose the TM12k as it's more than enough lumens for most cases and half the weight@@CATHOLIC_KNIGHT73

      @@NitecoreStore great choice! We can now assume that the upcoming TM30K will be smaller and perhaps lighter than the TM20K. I've already sketched the design of the TM30K. So I'll just describe what I've sketched. First of all, we know that the TM20K has a flat body but a round head, right? But in the TM30K's case, we should still apply the depth of the reflector from the TM20K, but it will use the latest UHI 50. Because I already assumed that they would use the UHI 100 for the strongest thrower led for the P30I PRO. Our flooders for TM30K would still be the same XHP 50.2 from TM12K. Since this one is much more powerful than XPL HD, it would only take a minimum of 12 LEDs for the flood. And lastly, it will be equipped with two 21700 batteries with a total rating of 10,000 mAh or 10,800 mAh that were used in the MH12 Pro. It also comes with a magnetic port cover and has deeper heat sink grooves for better heat dissipation, and again, it will be smaller than the TM20K. I hope that helps!
