POV - Porsche Macan S - Difference PSE & Normal Exhaust Sound

This video should give you a good understanding as to how different the Porsche Sport exhaust & the regular exhaust sound like from in cabin. I placed the mic behind the GoPro head strap so it should closely match the sound you're hearing in reality.
You might want to wear headphones to get an even closer match.
Normal - Valves closed (Should be close to regular exhaust)
Sport - Valves opened, snappy shifts
Sport Plus - Valves opened, snappy shifts, revving to max

I couldn't find a Macan S specced with the PSE here in the US. Picking up on Friday, so lets see. I was also thinking of the F Pace S but I preferred the sound (and the overall exprience) from the Macan S

i d prefer set my ears to be more sensible lowering the range of audition, and hearing the normal sounda that indeed have a lower pitch than be hated by neighbours

This is only sport plus, which is a 730 pound option, but you could go with the sport exhaust for 1600..

Doch, das war die reguläre Sportabgasanlage von Porsche. Damals halt noch ohne OPF - deswegen lauter.

Alternative wäre eine Third-Party-Anlage, die etwas günstiger wäre. Aber in jedem Fall lohnt sich die Anlage. Wenn irgendein Penner hinter einem nah auffährt auf der Autobahn, ist es für mich das schönste erst mal die Sport Plus Taste zu drücken und weg zu düsen. Und das mit ordentlich Dampf aus den Röhrchen!

Do you notice a big different with PSE on between sport and sport+? I have PSE and it sounds great in sport -- but don't have sport+ (but considering adding it).

Sports plus changes the engine map on demand which doesn't make a load of sound difference, but will make the cars 0-60 significantly quicker, it keeps the Rev range higher which sounds different not necessarily better, it's all up to personal preference.
