I had actually put about 3 layers on it, but possibly? I did a video on the Gateron Jade switches you can take a look and see if that sounds better, but I got the plate switch from wooting that just came in and waiting on the raptor HE to do a sound comparison for those who want to change their switches
@@danymops9240 yeah mine has about 3 layers of tape, will see how the switch plate makes the sound and with the frankenswitch with the lekker stem and raptor housing is I’ll try to see what the best combination can be for the sound and create a video with sound comparisons
@@mikeytypes ahh cool thanks for feedback and looking forward too it. I ordered the module l45 and alumaze so cant wait to set it up tomorrow. Ima use silicone switchpad along with stock foam and 5 layers of tape wish me luck!
Thanks so much for enjoying the video! Yeah I really like my ALUMAZE case though I wish the feet didn’t pop off so easily. I actually just got in new switches that work with the wooting so making a video on that soon
I have a question - does it come with a standoff for that hole exactly in the middle of the case? I know it isnt needed per say, but Id like to use it personally.
Thanks so much! the keycaps are the spaceman keycaps I found them on amazon before, but I now I can't find them. I did find them on Etsy or on Ali shorturl.at/ksMO3 is the etsy link
@@thevagrantgaming if we count shipping now… sure. Look man if you really put your mind to it, you can put it in a lot of keyboards so long that the usb c port is at the right spot. With a custom made plate, people are putting it in a geon works frog mini.
@@sinnerairsoft8487 I mean why would you not count shipping lol. When one comes from China and costs like 30 to ship and the other is shipped from their distor in the US for free or 7$ it matters when talking price.
I haven’t had any static shock could it possibly be from your desk pad or mousepad and the type of clothing you usually wear? Is it from every side of the case? Or is it just from the side with brass weight?
Its from the 4 sides of the case. I’m not pretty sure as to why it happens to me. But I’ll consider buying a new desktop mat to see if it fixes everything. Thank you
@@Ezio08 sorry I couldn’t be of more help. If it’s like static shock like when you rub your feet on a carpet and build up shock then chances are it’s from your body and then interacting with the metal case. Another possibility if it’s not that is the power being delivered to you case is being transferred to the metal like when you plug in a MacBook and can feel the electricity on the case which maybe if you added a bit of rubber to the edges of the pcb could help? But this is just my possible theory

That’s true, it won’t ever sound like a true custom but I did order some new switches so once that comes in I’ll be testing them out and making a video we’ll see how it goes
You should try to lube the switches and the stabs, it will make it so much better
I did lube and grease the switches and stabilizers but I think I need to redo it
nice I'm thinking about the blue case with white blank caps
That sounds like a good mix or even the tofu redux would be good
@@mikeytypes yes true i want to keep wooting strap tho
I feel like if you put 4 layers of masking tape it would sound way more premium

Yeah it will come with a standoff for the middle 😁
Is tofu 60 redux hotswap pcb gonna fit in the case?
The tofu redux is compatible with the wooting
where are those keycaps called or where can I find them? great video btw
Thanks so much! the keycaps are the spaceman keycaps I found them on amazon before, but I now I can't find them. I did find them on Etsy or on Ali shorturl.at/ksMO3 is the etsy link
Would you say you prefer the Tofu case over this Alumaze60 case?
I actually prefer the Alumaze because it’s lighter and the port has a better fit
I’d still get the tofu redux for the price tbh
@@sinnerairsoft8487 With the brass weight and shipping it's not even cheaper. And I personally don't want the front height of the tofu60 redux

what keycaps you using dude?
It’s the spaceman keycaps
