LEATHER CARVING TOOLING HOW to CARVE and TOOL - Leather Pattern Transfer

Leather Craft: Leather Carving Tooling How to Carve a Longhorn Skull Pattern Design. Leather tooling and carving for beginners How to transfer deigns and patterns to wet and cased leather. Make your own patterns so you can reuse them over and over on your leather craft projects. Trace your pattern onto the leather then carve the design in with a swivel knife and let the piece dry out just a little bit so it can be beveled. I use Craftool bevelers that I get from Tandy Leather the numbers are B802 and B803. Leather tooling beveling takes just a little bit of practice but can easily be done and really creates depth for your carved leather design. As you can see it did not take very long for this leather skull carving to take shape.
