Thank you for checking out the video and I appreciate your praise. I pretty much use that tank bag every day I really love it and the color scheme matches my bike perfectly great quality for a reasonable price.
That's a great bag. I had an older version of that same bag on a previous bike. It was also nice to keep valuables in it because the easy disconnect feature made it easy to take inside with you at a stop. SW Motech also sells rings you can attach to your luggage rack. These external rings allow you to move it to a tail bag position when you want more room or a secure place to latch it while filling the gas tank. Nice video!
Thanks for checking out the video and commenting with your insights on SW-Motech. I’m digging it. Now just need to get out on the road with it once the rain lets up.
Thanks for checking out the video. I totally agree, its design and color scheme fits my bike nicely. Unfortunately, it has been raining for the last few days, so I haven't been out on the road with it yet. But I'm sure it won't get in the way. I wish I had a discount code to offer. Give them a call and tell them you saw the bag on Texas2Tires' TH-cam channel, maybe they'll give you a discount on my behalf????
I’ll definitely let them know I saw it on your channel. I just picked up a 2023 R1250RS and I’ve subscribed to your channel. Thank you for all the great content!
Thanks for checking out the video and sharing your experience with SW-Motech. I’m very happy with the purchase. I have panniers on the way as well. Can’t wait to get those.
Great video, thank you. Trying to decide on this tank bag, it's waterproof counterpart, or the next size up. How are you liking the size so far? I liked the Giant Loop Diablo which I think is similar in size.
For me the size is perfect fits exactly what I need in it Which is a couple bottles of water my helmet lock and my toll road transmitter. In my opinion any bigger and the bike would start looking like an adventure bike poise to go on a long treacherous journey into the unknown wilderness 😂
Thanks for checking out the video and I’m so happy to hear it helped you with your installation. I thought I would only use the tank bag on occasions but actually I like it so much I have it on the bike all the time. Enjoy your bike, safe journeys to you!
A really great instructional video. I have the larger City bag with the older PRO attachment. I'd say the magnetic mount is better, one day my bag flee off when I thought I'd clicked it it! 😅
@Texas2Tires Hey! I have a'22 RS, we talked a while back and I gave the thumbs up to the SW Motech Blaze setup. Happily toured through WA and Idaho with them last year (from Vancouver 🇨🇦👋😊).
thanks for checking out the video, so I'm guessing you have a larger bag not the micro. Well, I'm very happy with the purchase. Agreed quality is great and installation is straightforward.
@@Texas2Tires actually I have the same one you purchased. Purchased it over winter so it’s installed on the bike waiting to get out in the warm weather.
Very nice! Why did you select this tank bag over a bmw bag or something else? I got a bmw one and wished that I would have gotten one like this or similar that uses a magnet. Mine has connectors that go under the fairing which means when my tank bag is not on the bike I need to tie the connectors together which I don't like. Also, putting the tank bag on is a challenge because I have to stretch the connecting straps to attach it to the bag, which is a struggle. I spend money on it so I do not know if I want to change it out but who knows. Any thoughts? Great video!
Thank you for checking out the video and the comment / question. I also have the SW-Motech panniers coming, but they ship from overseas, so they take a bit longer to arrive. I didn't choose BMW for two reasons: First, they are extremely overpriced. Second, I don't like the color or style options they have. SW-Motech products aren't inexpensive either, but much more reasonably priced, the quality is great and for me the black and red color scheme suits my bike. Finally I will add that the magnetic locking system is superior and very easy to use compared with the BMW tank bag you described. If I were you, I'd sell the BMW bag online and buy this one. The SW-Motech tank bags come in various sizes and styles, so I'm sure you could easily find one that suits your needs.
I had an SW Motech Pro on my Gs which I traded for a 2023 R1250 RS. I like the clean look of not having a tank bag but need a little storage. Do you leave the bag on all the time or just some of the time. do you feel it takes away from the look and are you happy with the purchase now that you have had it awhile. Thanks
Thanks for the comment and checking out the video. My initial plan was to only put it on the bike when I needed it. However I use it often and I think it looks pretty good on the bike, so I just leave it on all the time. I’m happy with the purchase.
Superb install video. Best I’ve seen. Thank you.

Nice tank bag
Thank you, I'm digging it. Tomorrow launching a first ride with the bag video.
Looks great! I’m going to get one for my bike after seeing how good it looks.

Hi I looked at this video again and your bike looks very nice! It looks new and it has just enough on it!
