Camping on the beach looks good on paper But , sand in every crevice combined with the nonstop noise is hard NO. I get it most of the visitors are from the valley where it’s 110 degrees and our hotels are expensive,us locals forget that we even have a beach. Take care,be safe and be nice to each other and don’t forget to pick up after yourself please.
Thank you for the informational video! I’ve been stressing all month in where to reserve or where I could camp and you’ve been so informative thank you!

As a LOCAL, EXCELLENT video for Do’s Don’ts as an UNofficial Ambassador to the Pismo / Oceano Dunes.
GREAT job Mike💪😎👍👍⬆️
I really appreciate that! We need to take care of this amazing place. I hope I can add positive experiences and promote the proper care for the gift that is Oceano!
Thanks Boss 🍺 Good lookin out
You bet🙏🙏
Thanks for sharing all of this Mike. Especially about the off-road cautions.
Is there anything like this up in Norcal? Like near Santa Cruz California?
Not that I know of, but I’m also just exploring and visiting for a year.
There are better authorities on California, beyond the Central coast to look into.
First time I have seen this channel.
A bit of a mission you are on?
Good luck this was a nice informational video on Pismo Beach camping. It was news to me. Thought so cal would be city parking only.
Yes I am! Although this was an informational video about camping at this location, my personal pursuit is: “Adventure, Fitness, and Freedom” but the purpose of this is to inspire people to get sober and fit, while pursuing the best version of themselves.
Thank you for checking out my channel and taking the time to watch and comment 🙏😁
Thank you, great tips as well as important cautions!
Glad it was helpful!🙏

Thanks! Glad to share the journey with you!
very informative 😎👍
Much appreciated!
Awesome video, thank you for sharing this info!! You definitely got me wanting to come camp on the beach. Question-do you recommend airing down tires at all if I don't intend to go off-road and want to just stay on and near the packed sand for driving/camping? I don't think my vehicle is ready for the off-road stuff yet haha.
You should be good with highway pressure, but be very conscious about soft sand
Love, love, love your vibe. Was searching for a high top van yet may go for an suv to just camp on this beach! What model would you recommend for an older reliable suv? Is the $50 pass for the year only available to california residents?🌺🌻🌺
Nope, anyone can buy the pass. You can get it right at the kiosk at the beach entrance… I’ve heard they give California State Parks passes away for free at the local libraries, but I haven’t verified… the $50 pass is just for state off road parks, not all state parks… remember there is still a $10/night camping pass charge. The $50 pass just gets you unlimited day use… in my opinion, a Suburban is the best for this. Cheapest and most available parts, but the older and higher mileage, the more things will break down… also a 4x4 truck with camper in the bed, especially a pop-up bed camper is perfect for off-road camping aka “overlanding”
Hope that is useful info!
Awesome! ❤☀️🌊✨
Thank you! 🙏 ⛺️
How will my Subaru Outback hold up? Thanks for sharing 🤙🏼
You could camp on the beach, be careful with soft deep sand, air down your tires, bring a tow strap, don’t go on the dunes, and if you do have legit off-road tires and have aired down, you will be great for camping, but I would not go on the dunes if it were me.
@@BookOfMikeG Thanks! I appreciate it!
Glad to help out!
Problem is most california beaches have homeless and alot of weirdos now...we have been to almost every beach and there is always someone who is sketchy.granted SLO not so much but we have been out there numerous times and there is always a knuckle head who is drunk or obnoxious with their atv or side by sides
That’s the truth… I did talk about that in the video and I hope everyone is safe and properly cautious
Unfortunately you and other guys have blown this all up.
Thousands of visitors a week for decades… There is no secret here.
