What a shame Mihoyo can't think that magical crystal chunk can be perfect opportunity item to forge/craft resin.
i got burned out of playing genshin 4 month ago, so i stopped playing to grind as usual for about 2-3 months. during that time i have been logging in daily for the shortest time as possible just to craft magical crystal chunk into mystic enhancement ore. you can get 96 mystic a day! there is no cap of 30 mystic a day that you get if you craft with regular cystal chunk. so at the end of my genshin burnout period i have around 6000 mystics with just 1 minutes of effort a day. for comparison, for the same amount of mystic, if you craft with regular crystal chunk, you'd need at least 7 months and more than 15 minutes a day because you need to wait for 2 rounds of crafting
tl:dr KEEP THE MAGICAL CRYSTAL CHUNKS FOR WHEN YOU'RE BURNOUT!
@@anony_meows exactly! i didnt know the importance of the magical crystal chunk until i was soooo burnt out with genshin but I still cared abt the resin coz you know… **sad f2p noises**. thank goodness I got a bunch of them so whenever I feel burnt out I can just use the resin to make those juicy ores 🥴✨ it saved me lots of time farming the usual crystal chunk
@@bungeegum8128 It's highly recommended that you do NOT put the magical crystal chunks or loach pearls in the parametric transformer. They are both categorized as mineral fuel, so they give an increased chance of weapon gems as a reward. These do not require resin to farm, unlike plant fuel which gives EXP books and talent books, or unlike animal fuel which gives Mora and weapon domain materials.
It's more resin efficient to put the other 2 types of fuel in. I always have extra Mitachurl/Lawlachurl horns laying around, so that's my goto fuel, especially since I'm always Mora-starved.

I'm going by the wiki and from personal experience. When I used to put in 150 magical chunks in, I get weapon exp crystals and the elemental crystals. When I switched to the 38 or so purple-tier Mitachurl horns I got Mora and weapon ascension materials.
I believe "The bell" is a materless weapon as of the moment. It's just it's waiting for the right wielder.

Players who do not using Baidou(sorry i do not know how her name writes in English) as a main damager this weapon is cool too becouse her E works with HP

In practice, The Bell is the least useless item on this list since my Diluc occasionally swings them to mine some ores and attack monsters.
I always enjoys putting it on Noelle, it matches her nicely too

You can actually use the fish you get to process...well, fish. Rephrase: The fish you have can be processed into the fish used in cooking. Squirrel Fish is an especially helpful healing dish, as it's 3 stars and one of the easiest to make. It just takes fish (caught or bought), tomatoes (found or bought), sugar (bought or processed), and flour (bought or processed).

Weren't Loach Pearls originally leaked to be used for Albedo ascensions? Online stories claim that, because of the leaks, players began to pre-farm them for Albedo, and MiHoYo (upset about the leak) then changed Albedo's requirements and made the pearls useless.
On a side note, Diona gifted the Traveler 10 Loach Pearls in her first birthday mail. The most useless gift...

@@tadicahya6439 this is the reason i always farm material when i already got the character. only farm when i got the character, if i dont, the material, the talent book will be useless. even in the leaks situation, i always tell my friend if the leaks about the upcoming character material and book talent were already final. because im scared that when beta and final release will be different.

Its a shame that the bell is useless for now but hopefully in the future they release a claymore character that scales off hp which gives them more dmg can use it.

The Wind Blessed Harpastum is still useful.
You can use it to hit those spinning cube puzzles in Inazuma if there is one that is higher than the rest of the cubes and if you're lazy to summon any bow users you have

you can also blow up the balloons (it's a little minigame for coop tho) basically one person is in charge of popping the balloons and the other is to release the balloons. Kinda gets boring but if you're out of resin it's better than nothing lol.
Personally, I find the Bell extremely useful of Beidou retaliation builds. The shield keeps her healthy if you miss your cue, and doesn't impact the scale up in attack when the skill is released. Add in that the retaliation damage absorption is scaled to hp, it's a great tool to further boost. My Beidou only has 1.9k attack stat, but full charged skill can do up to 27k damage

Same, my Beidou rocks The Bell, hitting parry crits up to 34k, and without stuff like Zhongli's shield, or other buffs.

I'm pretty sure the wind blessed Harpestum can be used to knock an eye of the storm out of the sky while it does the tornado attack (the one where you are trapped) if you don't have a ranged character.
I actually used that wind bottle to save someone in a domain after they fell off and were stuck, it literally saved a life.

loach pearl was used to be a material to make a warming bottle for dragonspine cold seer, and they change the material after a few days. i remember i was hunting for those loach pearl before dragonspine coming to make warming bottle
Yeah, I remember seeing Taka GG has loach pearl locations and it said it will be use in Dragonspine but the recipe was changed.
Honestly, the wind catcher would be nice to have in some cases (cries in climbing Raiden palace roof with geo Traveler), but the crafting materials makes it too much to invest into for such a situational item. It should’ve been like two or four anemo hypostasis drops, not TEN
As for a magic ore chunks, I wish I could’ve just sell it for mora or exchange to crystal chunks in 3 to 1 ratio.
i think the only problem i have with it is that it doesnt go high enough. honestly, id use it a lot more if it went higher
@@qualitypudding yeah. Why worry about windcatcher when i can just use my Venti 🤷 cooldown is much shorter and i don't have to look for anemogranum every 5 uses. Would be much more useful if it was at least twice as high.
Mihoyo only allows players to sell artifacts for mora, probably because Mihoyo doesn't want players to earn mora so easily.
I once forgot to bring a bow user to fight an eye of the storm and it's about to start to do the 'ulti' move that works kinda like ganyu's ulti so I just opened my backpack and bring out the wind blessed harpastum and used it to attack the eye of the storm instead
and it surprisingly works!

Harpastum can actually be useful if you're fighting a flying ruin guard or even the aeonblight drake. You can take em down if you hit the weakness spots.
Wind-Blessed Harpastum can be useful to distract enemies (doesn't work on bosses or flower-type enemies) away from other Co-Op players, therefore resulting to an ambush kill. This also works in solo mode; you just have to be fast while the enemies are distracted. The distraction effect will not work if the enemies can clearly see you or notice you.
The wind catcher was super useful to get electroculi in Inazuma. If you don't have Venti, Zhongli or Kazuha then it's pretty much a requirement.
Edit: yeah, "requirement" is hyperbolic, they will come in handy, nevertheless.

I don't have Venti or Kazuha, never used Zhongli for any of the electroculi and have never made a wind catcher before. It's not required, there is a way to get them all without wind catcher or a character skill
I got up there by using geo traveler and Kaeya
1. Maybe the people who have time to actively participate in the online community have so much game time that they think it’s useless, but for older players who need to work their 9-5 and spend family weekends, the opportunity to “waste” resin on crafting ores + adventure XP is super helpful. It adds up and is miles more useful than just letting resin cap and rot when you have like a full field day with kids planned.
2. They added new fish types with Enkanomiya. They planned waypoints close to fishing spots before even officially releasing the fishing system. There is a fishing shop in each nation. Don’t have to be a rocket science brain to deduct that there will be more things buyable with fish in the future, such a huge ecosystem just could not be put in place for 1 weapon, there is more to it. Just remember it took Xinyan and Beidou almost a year to get story relevance. This illustrates the tempo of mhy’s internal planning. Fish will come into play again, much later but it will.
3. Same with the bell claymore. Yes, we don’t have a claymore character who could benefit from HP stat - *yet*. Was the same thing with DEF stat before Gorou and Itto and Husk set happened, and now bam, DEF is all the rage because a way to directly convert it to damage was introduced. Converting ER to damage also happened with Emblem set. It’s only logical to assume it will happen with HP one day, too. Inb4 The Bell Diluc will become a thing when some HP-to-damage converting artifact set releases.

I use the wind blessed Harpastum when I'm too lazy to switch to a Bow Character, that thing can actually shoot these flower balloons and anemo slimes (not the ones you fight) that reveal chests, and it even stuns the eye of the storm. XD

Hunting Traps Should also be added in this list since there are bow users and melee combatants once the animals are in range as well as Extra Oculi and Sigils when you maxed out the statues and bought everything from the souveniir shop. What's most useless is the Holy Water you get from Hopkins The Marvelous in Springvale which does absolutely nothing.
Holy water heals 1hp every second, if i'm not wrong
I think the extra oculi are lore related because it’s too much of a coincidence that we had 3 regions on this game and ALL of them gave us exactly ONE extra oculi

I think The Bell would've been a really useful weapon if MHY ever releases a Claymore character who loses HP when they use their skill or burst.

The Wind Catcher helped me to reach high places in several occasions, but now I have Albedo and Zhongli so I thought it'd stop being useful.
I, however, refilled it anyways. Just because.
Yesterday I was fighting Dvalin, I fell from one of the platforms, revived and continued the fight as normal. But when the battle finished I realized the game got bugged or smth and I was standing in an empty platform, with the one which contained the materials at the other end.
Luckily, as you can imagine, the Wind Catcher saved me by having the right amount of wind currents for me to reach the right place

Some things are useless, because they lost quickly the usefulness after an event went by or after successfully doint its intended task, but the issue being, that the task isnt endless, which is why the tool becomes useless.
Other things are useless, because MHY never gave the item a simple usage in form of a connected character to give us a reason to collect the item, but even then its only temporary useful as ascension material.
Other stuff is useless, because just the item itself is pointless to exist, like the Special Camera...
Id seriously like to see MHY fixing alot of this item nonsense they are making, by either reworking their effects, merging stuff together to give things a new n better purpose of existance n meanwhile clean our inventories from all that trash that uses up only inventory space, or simply add usage to items.
TheBell is useless to people, because there doesnt exist yet a single Claymore Character that scales its performance by Max Health. MHY just need to add 1 single Claymore Character whose E n Q are scaled by HP and the Bell would be instantly that characters likely second best weapon, because surely MHY would add a HP 5s claymore then to bring whales to whale for it... but it would be useful for all others.
That silly pearl surely becomes somewhen an ascension material for a new character like for example Yelan I guess or maybe somewhen Alice or perhaps Varka, who knows, but I would be so dumb to waste them with the transmog tool, only because they have yet no usage. That wont be so forever.
Angling Rods, yeah, hopefully they become more useful in the future n more unique, that you need to switch them n get them. But with only laughable 22 fish types to catch, this feature is still in its baby shoes.
MHY has to expand the amount of fish types drastically n continously basically with each patch, or fishing just dies out fast because of boredom and zero rewards that give you reasons for it why you will want to go fishing always whenever possible n youre in mood for it. Adding with a new patch like 50 new fishes, 10 per region would be a good start, when Sumeru comes (Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma, Enkanomiya) n not like half of them being cheap reskins only.
Magic Ore needd to receive just a usage as a sink anit would be good, like make it required for more weapon crafting, for artefact fusions/resets to regain used Artefact exp n bring Artefacts back to Lvl 1 to be able to try getting better stats, rerolling the stats again.
So much stuff to fix in this game, but MHY barely makes any real good QoL improvements to fix the garbage n clean things up. Sad

Magical chunk is actually useful if you wanna upgrade you weapons quickly. Because crafting them doesnt takes time. And it's more useful for end game players who have nothing to do with resins.
Why would endgame players just farm/craft enchantment ores? Literally all Endgame players such as myself does it on artifact domains no matter what and I even have 6,000 enchantment ores dispite having 26 max leveled capped weapons. Stop with the stupid copium.

Majority of the players wouldn't really use resin to craft enhancement ores mainly 'cause it's farmable for free(There are tons of crystal chunks around teyvat) unlike artifacts which is time gated farming (atleast for f2p/low-spenders) with only resin as your payment to get those. Some players who can't play for a day would just opt to turn it to condensed and use it the next day to farm domains. So yeah IMO magical crystal chunks are still very useless or impractical to use.
Yeah, it's super useful imho, and can help to use up that last 10 resin you need to hit the Battle Pass daily resin use.

The harpastum can be actually fun to use when waiting for other players: One player releases baloons, while one player uses the harpastum to hit them!
Bell and rainslasher are useless for now but who knows may be they'll release some character in the future that can benefit from these weapons. 🤔
Rainslasher is a great weapon for Sayu, unless you have something better for her of 5s value like Wolfs orthe Sky Claymore for a good support build thats based on bursting alot. But for a reaction build is rainslasher optimal together with Xingqiu in team to get the neccessary wets to get best damage out of it.
Rainslasher also works quite great on diluc, some analysis says its out damage the r5 prototype archaic (maybe i heard something wrong but its similar like that) but only in some situations can it work well.

@@ashmin5473 I see this argument all the time, but the truth of the matter is, Diluc cannot guarantee vape on all his hits, so emphasizing too much on EM is extremely unreliable. You'd be better off bringing an EM support like Sucrose or Kazuha than equip Diluc with this weapon over another weapon that gives him attack/crit.
@@amyding5282 i did say that the rainslasher will work well in some situations though. using rainslasher on diluc is optional because you dont want diluc to hit vape and melt.
the wind blessed harpastum can be a BIT useful in the aeonblight drake boss fight bc if u dont have an archer then u can use the harpastum to shoot the boss down but its kinda hard to aim if tbh🤷
Fishing is actually pretty useful because you can't buy that much fish from the merchants. Being able to craft fish constantly is pretty nice, also the teapot fish.
The Bell is useless because none of claymore characters requires HP for shield or healing. Beidou has HP shield though she’s more focused on DPS

Beidou's shield ABSORBS dmg based off of Beidou's HP. May gets confused by this. This mean the damage the shield can only take is the same as Beidou's HP. If the damage exceeds the HP of Beidou she gets hurt even if she counters or shield
As a player who use to not having any character like Albedo, Zhongli, Kazuha and Venti, wind catcher is actually pretty useful, without that thing could never get those electroculus located on top of the inazuman palace

The thing with the magical crystal ore is that if you put enough of it into your paramatic transformer (at least 20, the more the better), it gives you exp books. It's a good thing for some endgame players or f2ps/low-spenders (I speak from this point of view) who are out of resin from grinding the blossoms of revelation or domains. If there's something like claymore Hu Tao The Bell isn't bad tbh, at R5 it's 24% unconditional dmg increase with Zhongli (even more so if it's multiplicative and Anemo, Geo, Electro user)

You forgot about that event item/currency that looks like jade coin. We collect them during the "chest hunting" event, and once we collect them, they're just waiting to rot in our inventory

I use the wind catcher at times when trying to get to a roof that i couldn't climb, and use it in Domains during Co Op session, especially when somebody doesn't have Venti, I use it to do continuous plunging attacks until the duration ends.

@@renseiryuu yes but the timing is very quick and precise, when you start a battle in the domain, and immediately activate the wind catcher. Works best you are not Player 1 in domain Co-Op, so you can position yourself where the enemies spawn, a split second after Player 1 starts, activate the wind catcher. Also needs you to have pretty fast reaction speed too.

@@ayatoculus its more venti's Elemental skill at home rather then a Xiao at home, because it creates a wind you can glide up rather than having high jumps. And mutiple people can use it after the wind catcher activates, it only lasts like 5 seconds for you to do continuous plunging attacks.
The way I SPRINT for the axolotls for those loach pearls knowing full well I’ll never use them
for the harpastum you can use it to do one of those plant balloon things if you don’t have an archer
I have feelings that we will use the wind blessed harpastum in the ludi harpastum event, if we ever had one
Number 9 is useful for those that don’t have time to farm but need to complete the resin missions. And saves you from using the other materials which you can use them on missions or now the tea pot. 🌱
The wind catcher is actually very helpful for collecting all the flying anemo geo and electro ball stuff(I for got the name lol) if u don’t have Kazuha or venti
i used to use the special kamera for months until i got the normal one. i usually use the settings photo mode to add some backround blur to take amazing scenery stuff and i like using the harpastum to aggrobosses.
I slightly disagree on the fishing rods - as I hunt for the fish we can show off in our Serenitea Pots

I remember farming Loach Pearls because of a leak saying that you can craft potions for Dragonspine and they were either wrong or Mihoyo just changed the requirements for that potion
10. This is basically for those who don't have Venti/Kazuha/Xiao. I've used it to get so many Oculi even though I have Zhongli. It works better than Albedo because you can use it anywhere even if there's a roof and Keqing because you get more vertical lift. Also, I'm pretty sure this and Geo Traveler are the only f2p ways to get the oculi on top of Raiden's castle.
9. Ya, this is just for when you have extra resin but it's pretty useful! It does it's job pretty well, a quick and easy way to use up your resin. And weapon exp material can plummet really fast if you don't forge it everyday(which requires you to mine all the time)

5. Early game, the Bell is actually pretty useful. When you're still learning and Barbara/Noelle aren't built enough to heal you up immediately, the shield can protect you. Also, I think Beidou is the only claymore with ANY hp scaling? C1 Beidou can works as a shielder because of her dmg reduction making her shield tankier so if you need electro application and don't have her built yet it could work. I did it to beat a domain early on.

Idk if lots of ppl know this but i saw in a vid u can use the wind blessed harpastum to hit the weakness of the ruin drake like its eye, i havent tested if it works in ruin guards or other ruin mobs. Its fun to do this as a challenge if ur bored lol.
Wind-blessed Harpastum is much more handy than you think as it can proc the weak spots without getting a bow character.
The bell is great for beidou because she uses hp for the shield

Number 10 "The Wind Catcher" is pretty useful instead of climbing things to mine ore or reach for the oculi. For me, this was an essential tool on the Dragonspine because it allowed me to just barely make it when climbing mountains in that annoying sheer cold (and no you can't get the warming bottle this early). Of course, because youtube content creators all have Xiao, Venti or Kazuha, they don't give a damn.
I just climbed using the climbing Mechanic and healing and reviving my characters.
@@asafesseidonsapphire people also use the "Test Run" event where you can use trial characters. If you enter it and then quit, the sheer cold will reset.

Magical crystal chunks are like, really good. 100 of them will get you 200 enchantment ore in a short amount of time and if you use your daily resin amount, it’s close to 100 ore a day. They’re excellent for farming enchantment ores when working on weapons and are abundantly found if you know the spawn rotations. And everyone always has extra weapons that need leveling up.
And also to add, they have the same resin efficiency as domains and bosses, just scaled to the appropriate amount so you’re literally loosing nothing.
You’re wasting the upgrade materials you could have farmed. Everybody probably has thousands of enchancement ores lying around for a while now, so it’s essentially useless
@@xiaoandyoimiyasimp3193 I mean considering it takes around 900 enchantment ore just to level from 1-90 on a 5star weapon and around 600 for 4 stars, that’ll drain your ore really quickly. And just running this for one week will essentially net you 900 ore (1 5star weapon) if you don’t necessarily need talent material, books or boss drops. There are tons and tons of weapons but very few characters comparatively. Plus you’ll always need more and better weapons as you slowly get them
the harpastum can be used to hit the bloaty floties or whatever theyre called if you dont have a bow character on your team thats what i used to do

I don't think bell's useless, i mean if its there. We are probably getting a shield claymore character that base on hp soon or late. That, or they design it for Noelle at first. But they change her from shield hp base to def base.
So that she won't overlap with Zhongli, which is 5* and basically have same geo element as her (which mean stronget shield ).

The reason the bell's passive isn't as useful is that most of the claymore characters in the game use a sheild.
Of Any of the characters who don't use a sheild, I can't think of sny who's abilities scale off of hp.
also the ridiculous cooldown on the bell. 45 seconds is way too inconvenient and unreliable

I use the bell for my Noelle, and it's actually really helpful, the shield it provides is what keeps me alive some of the time, also my Noelle can take more DMG when her shield is down that way

The bell is the reason MHY hasn't made a claymore character who scales off HP... It's hard to make a better 5*weapon with a better passive

"The Bell" would actually work amazingly with Beidou. Tidecaller absortion of damage scales with HP, and since with constellations she can also summon a shield with her burst, The Bell would be just as good as Noelle's skill.
In theory anyway, I built my Beidou for Energy Recharge and changing her artifacts to work with "The Bell" would be too much of a drastic change.
One small issue though:
The shield that the bell produces doesn't carry over to other characters...

I have a r5 bell, and another r2 bell. I use it with Beidou to raise her burst shield strength and and keep the bells passive up.

Something interesting is sword of descension is just a second fillet blade but worse since fillet blade can be refined and gets up to a 200% extra bonus with only a 1 second additional cooldown. 5 second additional and 40% extra at refinement 1.
