yeah i thought that was a little weird, on a Sony video, I am also waiting on the A7V, my A74 is great and never an issue, just some of the improvements would be a nice changes to me it is subject to what they upgrade, just me they don't need more pixels, and what would the price be, if there is allot of upgrades you can be guaranteed the price will go up $1000 and 2nd what do you get for a trade in value, if the new A7V is really good there will be a flood of used A74's on the market so we might be lucky to get a $1000-1500.00 and if that is the case , no way for me ,i am doing this as a hobby not a living unless i get rid of all my other cameras would be the only way and thats not going to happen as much as I'd love a new camera 👍 something big being announced around Nov.19th in New York by Sony is what i heard from a buddies uncle who works for Sony
I’m looking to replace my A7RIV with the A7RVI if it has 100mp, not too terrible rolling shutter, and better stabilization, better pixel shift (like OM), better menu. I’m also looking to replace my A6500 with the A6900 if it has 40mp and 8K and a few more APS-C dedicated lenses. Great travel and walk around camera.
You're considering some exciting upgrades! The Sony A7R VI is highly anticipated, and many photographers share your wish for it to feature a 100MP sensor, improved rolling shutter performance, enhanced stabilization, and an upgraded pixel shift system similar to that of OM Systems. A refined menu interface would also significantly enhance usability. For the A6900, the hopes for a 40MP sensor, 8K video capabilities, and a more extensive selection of dedicated APS-C lenses resonate with many users looking for a versatile travel and walk-around camera. It’s a good idea to keep an eye on announcements and reviews once these models are released, as these features will help determine if they meet your specific needs. Engaging with user forums and reviews post-launch can also provide valuable insights on real-world performance. If you're interested in other APS-C cameras or lenses in the meantime, let me know, and I can provide recommendations!😀😀
Le Hasselblad have long been respected brands in the photography world, known for their exceptional craftsmanship and image quality. Many photographers appreciate Leica's rangefinder design and low-light performance, while Hasselblad is celebrated for its medium format cameras and stunning detail. Both brands have their unique strengths, catering to different styles and preferences in photography. What features do you find most appealing about them?
