He never disappoints when he speaks, no matter what the venue.
Shane is a born leader with the necessary guts to get up and speak his mind.
He has a strong mandate, from the voters, to get this country back to health.
There are deranged people on the opposite benches and those in the civil service, universities and the professions who seem intent on stopping urgently needed progress.
The enemy within must be defeated!

"I as the Matua Mining" Another great phrase from Matua Shane. Shane is by far the best speaker in parliament this term, followed by Winston and David Seymour. David doesn't have the charisma and wit of our maori matua in NZF, but his calm, logical, respectful and bravely persistent approach is a lesson to all MPs.

All this is about is with the government and the 28 acts in the treaty they want to take away to mine . But the mining and profits will belong to overseas no real profit or jobs for kiwis.
If webfree up the land around waterways protected by the treaty andbownership of Maori 20 years ago we would have looked like Miami beach and Interlarken . The restriction we thinknthe treaty has allows kiwis to have free access to beaches ,fishing etc,if its crowned owned like england and Scotland you cant just land anywhere or fish.

Shane Jones follows the great Maori tradition of fine oratory. These traditions are not evident in Te Pati Maori ... Debbie Ngarewa-Packer simply talks in slogans, there are no ideas and thinking Tākuta Ferris has to read from a script.
It is so refreshing to hear a coherent set of ideas delivered eloquently without the assistance of 'props'.
Shane Jones is the best orator of the House.

My Pakeha family has been here since the 1830's. I am part Maori. I am so disillusioned with they way many New Zealanders think, are politically misguided and dont want to take responsibility ( Blame the Government for there circumstances) for their lives . This country could be so much better. It is pathetic that 5,000,000 odd people can not get their natural resources to make our country wealthy per population. Thats what Scandinavian countries did and look at their standard of living now. We treat people over 65 terribly because woke people would rather "save a geko" and leave retired people living in misery so that their children, who are always on computer's indoors, can have a "better environment to live in". This is 2024 and there is nothing that cant be fixed after you get your natural resources. Look at the Subdivision in MT Wellington that used to be a huge quarry.
