As a Gen 5 enthusiast, this brings a tear to my eye. The nostalgia just rushes back in with all those hard beat drops, GOD I hope the Unova remakes are actually gonna be good! (unlike BDSP)
Or maybe Unova DLC? (Probably not, but we can hope.)
@@bct2308h hell no, Unova remakes deserves games if it’s own (they are far too good to be put down as DLC) and hopefully GF fixes some of the problems with Sc/Vi so it can be one of the best Pokémon games

It's their IP. They were the ones who asked ILLCA to make that specific game.

As a Latino living in the NY metro/Unova...this is just me as a Pokémon music combination. I can confirm that every time I go across to the western side of the river, the Driftveil City music starts playing and I immediately vibe. Driftveil City IRL is Union City which is majority Cuban, and us Cubans are known for our music so it checks out.

Gen 2 was remade in Gen 4, twice it's generation number.
Gen 3 was remade in Gen 6, twice it's generation number.
Gen 4 was remade in Gen 8, twice it's generation number.
Gen 5 remake confirmed for Gen 10.
Gen 1 is an outlier.

I'm just replaying Black 2 after 9 years, and I love this mix.
This hopefully one day will be what kids hear when their teams are destroyed by Lenora, Elesa, Clay, and even Brycen or Drayden if GameFreak does things right.

Anybody wishes the pokemon world tournament from B2W2 returns to scarlet and violet as dlc or at least be its own seperate game? Because i would love to battle past gym leaders champions and hopefully this time elite fours from kanto to galar and see what their pokemon teams will be oh and hopefully to battle past protagonists and rivals as well

Unova is next as Johto got a ds remake
Either Pokemon Volt Black and Flare White (just off the top of my head) or Let's go Johto.
Johto was never in line it ended when it got remade in gen 4. I just can’t understand what makes people think that. Gen 2 if it gets a revisit would get the Let’s go treatment 😂 the gen that is the last 2D games are the only ones left to be remade aka Gen 5.

they should give us the PWT every Generation but man, it would probably be SO much more work for everyone at GameFreak and so on to remake the themes every time, write even MORE dialogue, revamp teams every time, etc.

This is the reason we didn't get the Gen 5 remakes. They heard Blitzit's attempt and thought "yeah, fuck that...we can't top that", and just moved onto Legends Gen 6 💀🤣

As a Taiwanese American born and raised in New Jersey, I feel right at home in Unova since part of it is also based on New Jersey
There is a lot of references to unova battle themes troughout the game tho.
Yeah indeed, the trainer battle theme is a perfect example. It literally has the Pokémon B&W Trainer Battle Brass instruments at the beginning.
