Mike Clark once did a drum clinic at my college and after seeing the schools aging Yamaha Stage Custom we had in our small venue, he asked if there were any other options. I knew he was a DW guy so I offered up my DW Collectors series kit for him to use. Even with a big 22/12/16F setup, he tuned them exactly how he wanted them and made them absolutely sing. Just got mine in Titanium Sparkle the day before Thanksgiving. Super, super set! Notice Mike is using 'Evans' heads. I believe they come from the factory with DW stamped 'Remos' . Clear on the toms and bass batter head at least.
Who else can look so great in a turquoise shirt, yellow big assed wide kipper tie and a coach drivers jacket. He's Mike Clark. The man is funk personified.

When times passed by we all know that MIKE rivals the all time legends regarding funky drumming like CLYDE, BERNARD, "JABO" and the one and only "ZIGABOO". He even goes as far as being the one and only syncopated funky drummer ever! (Nah! i took this a little to far).
The term ' drum kit ' is something we've always used in England , never ' drumset ' , so this term for the instrument might have crept into American English via crossing the Atlantic. Perhaps.

Plays so clean!Notes are so evenly played and volume is uniform on every note unless he chooses to accent. This is mastery.These are goals!
