I met a Canadian woman in the grocery store yesterday. She has family in Quebec and Vancouver. She asked me which flour to buy to make tortillas. I told her None that stuff will kill you! I said I'm carnivore and make mine carnivore. She lit up and said she was looking to be a carnivore and we spoke for an hour. I gave her your YT Channel info along with a few select others and we will stay in contact. I was excited to help her get started on her journey into the carnivore lifestyle. ❤❤

Fantastic! Although i would not call myself an accomplished cook, my Russian husband is, and he makes blini (blintzes). They are thin, cooked much like this, so I have had great success. He will hold the pan off the heat as he pours the batter, then rolls the pan to spread the batter evenly, which has worked great for me. I had given up on these because the egg white powder is too expensive! Smoked salmon and sour cream is great in them, or chopped hard-boiled eggs, still warm mixed with melted butter. OMG now I am hungry! PS, he can flip his blini by tossing the pan, I can not! 😂
@@AndreaSwiedler Your ideas sound SO yummy-I'll definitely be trying them! When you say your husband holds the pan off the heat, do you mean he holds it in the air with one hand while pouring the batter in with the other? I'm trying to picture it.
@@rebeccagreen7241 Yes, he holds the pan off the heat while rolling the batter around the pan. He never touches it with any utensils. He also makes sure the pan is well greased between each blini.
Super, Anita! So funny to catch this video as I was literally just finishing lunch with my own version of these which are similar. I use the yolks, too. I just crack a dozen eggs and zip those in a blender (I skip the gelatin). Then, similarly, ladle them into my 12 inch caste iron pan on medium-to-medium-low. 90 seconds-ish on one side 30-seconds-ish on the other. You're right, they're super simple and quite versatile. I've found I tend to prefer mine on the thinner side. I use them as wraps for beef burritos. They hold up well enough when I keep them in the fridge. I notice a dozen eggs makes about 12-15 wraps. Thanks for the video. Peace!
I tried using just eggs but the “noodles” or “wraps” were too flimsy and ripped too easily. I’m going to try using some cottage cheese and gelatin, then cook on the stove top. Like a cross between the egg wraps and the cottage cheese flat bread.
@@godloveskaren For thinner wraps I simply ladle in a (slightly) smaller amount. If the amount is too small then it won't coat the whole bottom of the pan and the wrap will end up with smaller or larger wholes depending. At which point I promptly felt like a genius.
It's really not expensive when you calculate the cost per equivalent amount of actual egg whites in a carton. Here in the US the 1.2 pound container (Now brand) runs on average $26 and it’s the equivalent of 5 1/2 cartons @ around 5 dollars a carton. (27.50). I’m so glad indigo inspired me to start using it!!

Perfect way to use up the egg whites I have left over when I make the egg yolk waffle recipe from The Angel’s Journey channel. I’ve been using one tablespoon of gelatin to four egg whites, but I’m going to try increasing the gelatin. I don’t remember whose channel I learned to make egg white crepes. Maybe it was Indigo Nili’s
I have never used that much gelatin so I will give it a try. I usually thin it out more with a little water to get thinner wraps. I take them to the Mexican restaurant to use for fajitas. I have never had any problem when I explain to them I am gluten free and they are intrigued to see how well they work and how easy they are to make.
YOLKS. YOLKS. WHAT I DO WITH YOLKS. Ratio 6 yolks to 2 cups of cream. Play with that. If that's too rich, use milk. Put the yolks in a blender or food processor with some cream, vanilla and enough sweeter for 2 cups of coffee. (NOT THE COFFEE, JUST WHAT YOU WOULD USE TO SWEETEN THAT MUCH COFFEE.) blend it. I pour the batter into canning jars and set those jars in a pan of hot water and bake them for 45 minutes on 350 degrees. Let cool enough to pick up the jars and place them in the refrigerator. The blender or food processor breaks up what white may have stuck to the eggs whites so that they don't make funny little balls in your custard. I call it custard. You could call it pudding.
You are absolutely correct about the egg white powder. It’s like gold powder now. When I first started using it, here in the US, which was about three years ago if I’m not mistaken, the 5 pound jug of it was somewhere around $55 or $57 on Amazon. Egg white powder is ridiculous in Canada. There’s a Canadian brand on Amazon. No yolking was $42.95 for 500g pre C. It’s now $64.95! One pound is 454g. There are now a couple other in Amazon, but they are still about $60 per lb or 500g. Thanks Anita for the whole food version. God bless.
Have you ever thought about making your own egg white powder? It might not be too difficult with a dehydrator then in a food processor. Might be worth looking into. Love your videos.
Looks awesome! I want to try this. I just got some egg white powder, a very small package for special things....I made your fluffy egg bread yesterday for the first time and my husband and kids all loved it. It was gone in minutes.
I’ve looked in my local grocery for the egg white wraps, but they’re not stocked. I’ve avoided making them myself because of the number of ingredients. Your recipes makes this doable.
I want to try this with the new electric crepe maker that I got -,it's hand held and it heats up - you lay it in the batter in a shallow pan and the crepe cooks on the dipped surface
I like them with Maria Emmerichs "protein sparing thanksgiving turkey", bacon, cream cheese, mustard and avocado. And if there are sweet peas in the garden I add a couple of those too. YUM! (that meal is high fat, I know, but I do like the psmf turkey best in this higherfat wrap) Also good wrapped around a hotdog with cheese and avocado. I have been keto many years now but I still don't care for a plain hotdog. I have to wrap with something. Usually just waffles made with 1 egg, 1 T bacon fat and 1/8 tsp baking powder and everything bagel seasoning. I do love the versatility of the eggwhite wraps though. I like Indigo Nili's recipes but I will give this one a try too. Thank you! Oh! also, pizza roll ups. My kids love those too.
I put yolks in my broth (2 yolks) And butter & s&p (2T butter) It’s sooo good I add 2 whole eggs too and stickblend it (12oz broth) It keeps me for 5-6 hrs! Coffee I use 12oz also and 1 egg, 2 yolks, SF coffee syrup and oh my it’s so rich! (Stickblend that also)
The cost here has more than doubled since I started using the powdered egg whites. It was about 35 for the 5 lb,now it averages 80! Just checked and it's 74.99 ,that's just insane. Lucky I stocked up and now don't use it as often.
Has anyone tried these with whole eggs? I have zero interest in egg white anything so I often skip over these videos but I love your take on things, especially since you’re in Canada like I am (except I’m in Toronto). Such a great resource to the community
Well the bread is quite different from the wraps because in the case of the bread you are whipping the whites to get some height for a loaf. Then you are adding the powder so that it retains some of that height or you will just have a loaf of merengue. The egg white powder added to the whipped egg whites acts like a sort of flour. I have tried to make it happen but have not had success.
I use gelatin to make my homemade yogurt too Nice n firm, never need to strain I buy cheapest gelatin too Only my collagen do I buy from Perfect brand (100% grassfed Brazilian cows) The gelatin is just to thicken things, not be a food source-for me
@@lindastiles74501Tb to 1/2gal milk I think. Might be 1 1/2Tb Straining messes up the macros imo, too. Keto needs highfat. When u culture it 24 hrs, it eats up almost all the lactose so very little to no carbs.

What a fabulous idea! I just ordered my gelatin powder. Thank you. You have the best recipes and ideas! 😊❤😊🙏
Yay! Thank you!
God bless.
Yes, way too much!
Have you ever thought about making your own egg white powder? It might not be too difficult with a dehydrator then in a food processor. Might be worth looking into. Love your videos.
Haha, I think about it often! And then I get busy and don't do it!
Great ideas! Thanks!
Looks awesome! I want to try this. I just got some egg white powder, a very small package for special things....I made your fluffy egg bread yesterday for the first time and my husband and kids all loved it. It was gone in minutes.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I’ve looked in my local grocery for the egg white wraps, but they’re not stocked. I’ve avoided making them myself because of the number of ingredients. Your recipes makes this doable.
Aldi’s
There is a company called Canadian Protein and they have Egg White Powder. Also they have Beef Protein powder that is great
I want to try this with the new electric crepe maker that I got -,it's hand held and it heats up - you lay it in the batter in a shallow pan and the crepe cooks on the dipped surface
Hi, Anita❣
Hello!
My kids love those too.
oh yum to the pizza rollups!
Hi, I am from Australia. Thank you for making these with actual Egg Whites. Was just wondering how to make them without powder last night, 🙂
You are welcome 😊
Thanks, so much! I have my own hens, and put a yolk in my coffee each day so I have lots of egg whites to use.
I put yolks in my broth (2 yolks)
And butter & s&p (2T butter)
It’s sooo good
I add 2 whole eggs too and stickblend it (12oz broth)
It keeps me for 5-6 hrs!
Coffee I use 12oz also and 1 egg, 2 yolks, SF coffee syrup and oh my it’s so rich! (Stickblend that also)
Perfect!
The cost here has more than doubled since I started using the powdered egg whites. It was about 35 for the 5 lb,now it averages 80! Just checked and it's 74.99 ,that's just insane. Lucky I stocked up and now don't use it as often.
It's crazy, it really is!
Its unbelievable, as soon as an ingredient becomes a thing it becomes crazy expensive. Electrolytes are nuts. Basically anything "Keto".
😊
Has anyone tried these with whole eggs? I have zero interest in egg white anything so I often skip over these videos but I love your take on things, especially since you’re in Canada like I am (except I’m in Toronto). Such a great resource to the community
The yolks r good in coffee or meat broth and in homemade mayo
Plus dipping ur steak or hambs in (warm thru 1st)
I think a couple people already commented that they make with whole eggs so looks like you can!
Hello Anita ! Can psmf bread be made with egg whites ? I agree with you egg white powder is expensive. I am canadian too.
I use gelatin to make my homemade yogurt too
Nice n firm, never need to strain
I buy cheapest gelatin too
Only my collagen do I buy from Perfect brand (100% grassfed Brazilian cows)
The gelatin is just to thicken things, not be a food source-for me
how much gelatin to how much milk? I hate straining and would love to try how you make yours.
@@lindastiles74501Tb to 1/2gal milk I think. Might be 1 1/2Tb
Straining messes up the macros imo, too. Keto needs highfat.
When u culture it 24 hrs, it eats up almost all the lactose so very little to no carbs.
Can't wait to make this. I need to find some gelatin powder first.
Either a drug store or Amazon will have it.
