Obligations suck the life out of people's dreams and aspirations. No wonder the adult world is so stuck in the mundane; it's a coffin for those who don't have goals in mind.
Obligations are just part of being an adult. Everyone has them it's not possible not to. Everyone has bills to pay and people friends and family to depend on. You just have to find a balance between that and taking care of yourself.
@@AJ0223 Its not necessarily childish. Its just an observation, and he also included a qualifying statement: “its a coffin for those who don’t have goals in mind.” That’s literally true.
No idea how this channel found me! You are a pleasure to listen to. Very charismatic and a positive vibe. Actually getting some hope about this generation! 😄 Keep 'em comin 🎥
Wow, I’m not sure how I ended up getting recommended these lol, but definitely gives me like the og TH-cam days when people didn’t know what it was and were figuring it out. You had so many more people just being open, vulnerable, and genuine, something that’s mostly disappeared from the platform now a days. But when I see stuff like this, stuff created with out any ulterior motives, authentic content driven by honest feelings and passion (not money, or wanting something in return) it’s so refreshing and even more so it actually stimulates my thought and makes me self reflect, which I think people could do a lot more, and it’s just such valuable content to consume because you can always get something out of learning from others life experiences, especially when you relate to them.
These driving and talking videos are my type of videos. I came across one of your other videos and this was on my screen when I got on TH-cam, so I clicked on it.
I’ve changed my degree 3 times since starting college. Couldn’t think of what I wanted to stick with for the rest of my life. But I realized that I don’t necessarily need a degree in graphic design. But I’m doing it cuz I wanna say I could graduate & at the same time I also took random classes that doesn’t associate with my degree because I want to build my skills & gain knowledge that I can apply to different parts of my life. Sure you can go to college or not. Sure you can start a business or work in retail. What matters most in life is what you can learn daily and how you use those skill in your everyday life is where you see growth. That’s my ramble. But I always appreciate your talks bee, makes me feel like I’m not the only one who feels this way in the world!❤ have a beautiful day! :)
You remain very beautiful with an amazing attitude all while navigating the dark realities this country and generation face. As a millennial that just reached 30 years old I decided to buy and hold small market cap alt coins until they increase in price. I'm willing to wait a short time/ long amount of time to find my financial freedom at this point. I wish you the best of luck on your journey to happiness and freedom. Hopefully you find your niche to survival in this world.
i really relate to the obligations stuff, I hate having them. people always used to be telling me that I should join extracurriculars for college reasons. But it's like, look at all the things I've been able to do in the time I didn't go to extracurriculars. The way I work is alone, and oftentimes it doesn't seem like the college application system is built for people like me.
I like to think that colleges would value individual projects and research more than being in clubs that are offered to you. It shows you have the initiative and bravery to go against the gradient. At least, that’s how you can word it in your essays.
God, I never thought of it that way, but I feel like that’s a common scenario. It’s interesting to think about how other things in life have been handed to people and how that affects them in the long term.
You are wondering "why there is limits if they aren't held as limits". Zoe Bee had a video where she told about her class where she had really strict deadlines. It was really devastating for her to see the harm she was doing for her students, so she never did it again.
Yeah, I think there’s definitely a balance that needs to be there, and I regret not talking about the other side of things being too strict. But, you bring up a really good point.
@@Beescornerofyt Don't worry. Your rant-esque video format is great. In next video you could explain how your anarchistic lifestyle led you to binge drinking and buying escorts, but now you are doing everything for Jesus Christ. 😂
This is a serious problem for me. Once a time/place is involved, I'm pretty much out. Bible Study, Dungeons & Dragons group, throwing rocks at the trains club. I'm not having it.
Programming in school was the most useless drag. If you are lacking meaningful obligations it certainly wasn't the place to find it for me. Professor just let me sit outside the class and I would teach myself by programming my own stuff. Found real obligation and meaningful pursuit by creating my own games with other people. My future wasn't made in school, it was everything I accomplished in my free time, made it into Disney without a degree, the most important aspect was finding other people with the same passions and not doing anything alone. The best learning experience I had was lying on my resume and teaching myself on the job.
I feel like because school lays everything out for you, it makes most people very passive overtime and they don't develop that drive to do more. Like you, you had to do things OUTSIDE of school to really make it. I worry for the people that rely on school alone.
10:05 i start college in a few months i graduate in may and I'm the EXACT same about that... like idk wtf I'm doing but I'm doing computer science as well
I realized I was never going to be able to work intimately with other people so I might as well just work for myself. So getting a degree wasn't going to help me.
6:04 those are the students who saw beyond the matrix and it’s nonexistent rules 😂. this is meant to be a joke but it does go deeper when you look more into it
i think teachers have a due date so that the teachers have a time that they can expect to get most of the work in. Cuz, sure, there will be students that turn stuff in late, but at least the teacher doesn't have to grade everything at the end of the quarter.
For me college and university is the last places where you can be unproductive and it is somewhat socially acceptable. Studying in university is idiotic (I recommend checking those self-study coding videos) but why not enjoy the unproductive lifestyle? Universities are becoming more productive and after that there is no escape from productivity.
You 100% will NOT learn anything relevant to digital marketing from a class. Why is the professor not rich from it? Is all outdated BS and theory. In Coding you might learn some, but even then pursuing your own projects and marketing them will give you 100x the knowledge.
Guess what ? You just became a TH-camr. By next year you will be blown away with how many subscribers you will have . Mark my words. Come to this comment in January 26th of 2025 .

Pretty much. Learning to negotiate and say no are vital to survival otherwise people will just leverage you.
