Perfectionism is correlated with having very high anxiety.
This may help you and seriously it is surprise how someone with also 17 can have an amazing analitic point of view (yep, considering questioning everything) the idea is not to change your perspective specifically but helping to connect to the right one. Hope you answer: See another case completely different: Peruvian student that the pandemic affected him too much and got on self improvement. "improving your life" meant also to get better notes so as the system refall even more with that situation I wasn't very cared about how it was going so I've got into Maths and Sciences while learning english. I was 14 by that time, and basically on ausence I've got a very powerful power lol. My dream always was to study Astronomy and since that I became very appassionate for maths. That didn't change until the next: Pandemic finishes and everyone returns back on school in 2022, by that time I was already noticing how poor was the system so I had to set a lot of resistance to my family to get back there. I did it approx at the half of the year. My expectations were real and it was just a waste of time. Most things kids learn on US at 11 we were learning it at 15-16. I skipped many class days to get out another place to study truth stuff. Same thing next year about resistance and skipping classes 12th grade. By september (scholar yeary here finishes on chrismast approx), when the teachers discovered I was on my phone (reading maths they couldn't understand) while ignorating them I was reported with almost bieng able repeat it the for the warning. I was very angry about this, so maybe could I change my passion to something wouldn't rely on academics. I've chosen programming, without knowing that it was gaining terrain there. But it still remained nowadays. Surprisly, I've got upper third and I did the college's exam and I got there with that as chose. And here it is the interesting part you can consider for someone that also hates the current lifestyle and system but loves productivy and studying :) University went very bad the first semester. The first exam I got 0, and the next ones were pretty much the same. I've got two female friends, which one of them became my partner after some time. One of them changed from humanities as she had the same case, while the other was literally E X C E L L I N G on everything. The partial exams condened my courses, but there was a hope's light still. Eventually my grades improved, but that wasn't still the necessary to save the semester. What you may notice is that university courses are so intensive you are not still adapted to follow the rythm. Also, on lessons overloaded of people is harder to concentrate while the professor becomes distracted by the amount of questions which reduces the probabilities of responding the yours. That is just personal opinion. But if you feel overwhelmed take +two days off and do other stuff while separing some hours to reflect. Next, study by yourself or recieve personal assistance. It's not about always skipping lessons, but literally on merely time by applying the 80/20 rule you get ahead of most students. If it is too late, do not worry, please. Anyways I flunked (officially 4, I think personally 3 deserved) of the 6 courses even if my finals exams were well-medium. The girl that I thought was the girl of my dreams and my patner ghosted me before final exams (I think that as she knew how was I). Flunking is just something we pass soon or later. And it is not for better or worse doing the courses again, although you feel even backer. Therefore, with the experience you are going to say: Will I pass again as a proof of resilience or did I notice I do not like this? (from a responsible perspective) As if you studied intentionally, the next time goes very well no matter the past. Basically now I am getting the excelling grades of my ex, which I see two times per week on a course that I've passed. If you have some doubts, do not worry as long as you are still analyzing the current situations and asking yourself your true passions. Obviously performing poorly affects how do you take the circonstances, so verify if it is you or what is around. Let to time decide.
I got a pretzel in my head now 😂
Ltatsesotw?...whaaaaat bee, you got my brain twisted like a pretzel 🥨 ok😂
Hello bee and maximus...it looks like maximus has only one eye 😂❤
Bee's outta the hive and she buzzin'😆
thank you for sharing this
Bee, make a video whenever you want, ok❤
I think locking in is more like giving it your all which can definitely include analyzing your mistakes and making adjustments as you go. The way you describe locking in sounds like mindless repetition which seems like the opposite of locked in to me but I guess it’s all semantics and our definitions of these buzzwords everyone says lol
I know 1984 can make life seem ruff, but don’t let it make you cynical. It only SEEMS like it’s accurate to reality, let go of your assumptions about life and you’ll that George Orwell was probably a bit delusional, just like the lot of us.
Show up for life and others honestly. BTW Zen Body-Being is an awesome book.
Hi Bee, i don't know if you wil like it but, check out Lord Huron it a indie rock band. I realy love their music
It sounded funny the way you said...thanks, thanks😂
Yappety yap, yappety yap❤😂don't yap back😂
❤ ya bee.
This is the first video of bee i've seen.
Happy Halloween bee!, we'll all see you next week for a routine stingin'😂❤🐝
4:29 I don't think excelling in the system you hate is 'lying to yourself' I think its more like "Going into battle hoping you can make a change." (Look at me being semi-optimistic here lol 😅) Or even if no change comes out of it at all. You work, you get your investment money for yourself over a period of time. And you move on and invest in your own life and do the things YOU want to do. But that's just me... idk lol.
3:24 Another take: (Also I agree to a certain extent of "If you can't change the system, might as well excel in it".) I believe that as time goes on things within our system will change (either for better or for worse). As humans we aren't perfect, so the systems we build won't be perfect. But if you look at history and where we came from as a society. We can clearly see we have improved a heck of a lot compared to older times 😅 But yea... that's all I wanted to say.
2:24 Here is my Molten Hot Lava Take about the game of Life we live in: The way I see it, after living for 20 years of my life (so far), on this big massive piece of floating of rock is... 1. Getting a Job is just so that you can survive & pay rent. Nothing more, nothing less... Unless where you are working at is something special to you (aka dream job). Job = Money. That's it. 2. Money = Investing. What I mean by this is when you earn your daily, weekly, monthly dosh (aka paper aka dough). You get to choose where you invest it into. That means anything relating your hobbies, side-projects, side-business, travelling, etc. From Schools & Education, to getting a job. It's one whole pipe line to get you a job so you can sustain yourself (financially speaking). My great advice is... enjoy every second you can along this big journey to be 'financially stable'. Cause it is a journey (I feel like my journey has only began 😅) but yea... Make sure to enjoy every moment of your life, make sure you make time for yourself, family & friends & (this is a reminder to myself as well). Life is scary (sometimes dark too) but it doesn't have to be this way 100% of the time. So go out there and do what you must. Study, Learn, Grow, Grind. But most important of them all... take care of yourself. ❤ (Another remind for myself as well 😅)
I think people worry too much about finding stability aka “surviving”. Everyone and their mother has tried the “survival” method of getting through, maybe it’s time to change up and just flow with where it’s takes us. Sure seems to work for… my ego hates it though but that’s ok
@@dolev2945 That's fair. Tbh I only say 'survive' because to be able to own or live in housing you need to pay rent/money to live under a roof. But you're right. We shouldn't stress 24/7 over financial side of things when it comes to living life. We are given the cards we are dealt with. And we make decisions. Not every decision will be a good one but that is what we have to deal with. And rather than looking at all the negatives that comes with life itself (even though it's very hard not to) we should try and look at the positives more often than not and be grateful to be able to experience life and the good people we meet along the way. P.S. I'm not saying that you shouldn't wish for certain things to be better or blatantly ignore negative stuff (e.g. better living conditions or a job) but just saying you shouldn't forget that there is good just as there is bad sides of life (high & lows).
i know what you mean i’m in college right now taking classes that don’t mean anything to me personally and it feels soul less and more corporate than anything
Open your eyes and you’ll find soul all around you
I hope things work in your favor. You're young, you have time to ponder.
Once you start questioning the system you just can’t stop tbh. Even if you decide to ignore it, you’ll still be going against yourself because deep down you know it’s all false. Shifting the energy from the system to passions is what most people seem to miss yk? Then they get all depressed and bitter when someone else managed to pull through and achieve their passions. The people who go into the uncertain void take the most unique paths in life it’s scary but way better than wasting your life in “ignorant bliss” and makes for the absolute best stories
When i'm at work...i like to blast my favorite music 🎶 but sometimes i get into trouble for it😂❤rock on!!
Okay I guess I'm not the only one that feels like this
Bee and her favorite music sure will age like fine wine🎉❤😊
Self isolation+monk mode...unite!😂❤
It’s gonna be okay. I have thoughts like this so much. But I try to remember to focus on the next step, rather than the entire journey. Because the next step brings its own joys. Being in the moment brings so much joy. Especially with how hard people like you push themselves, it’s easy to get wrapped up in what you got going on and forget to appreciate the things around you and take time for yourself. It’s all gonna be okay, life can change so quickly for the better or worse. Always enjoy the moment
One thing to remember about traveling: It’s not where you live but how you live.
100% !
You have a cool sweater too!... hello 😺
Thumbs up, kellogg's...there, i said it😂
Preach, queen bee of YAP...gossip's got nothin' on your yap!
i dunno the dilemma i struggle with is that as much as i want my passions to be the forefront of my life i kind of think that itself will start becoming a job and i will start resenting it. i don't think people who are as individualistic as you or i can fit into the boxes that society deems as a successful. just because you have to participate (and luckily excel) in the system doesn't mean you have to conform to it. you are still you dawg our jobs our livelihoods do not define us. everything in life is a trade off thats just how life is man
Hello dear, How are you? Do you want a professional TH-cam Thumbnail designer and TH-cam video SEO Expert? Let me know please Thanks
Irrational talk considering your talent and age. The conditioning is so persistent that is hard to get out of it I get it. There is a path and you will figure it out, but no one will teach you the way. Especially the system.
You can do whatever floats your boat...go get 'em🎉
😇
😆the way bee began to sound british
Conformity is Comfort. Unconventional is Uncomfortable! being Real is Rewarding
I felt like you at that age. Left computer engineering major at university and traveled like a nomad for a while. Unexpectedly found inspiration to create my own style of artwork. Now i travel around installing my artwork. Going 'off-script' from what you are 'expected' to do is scary. Full of risks and hardships. Sticking to 'the plan' is much easier. But sometimes you need to find your own way and follow your own paths
I’m almost 22 and although school was easy for me and I got good grades I just didn’t care at all. As soon as I graduated I moved a state away and worked at a training facility for my passion. I’ve worked many jobs that did not at all align with my passion or goals and I felt my excitement for life deteriorate. My passion is flying bikes, not a very useful skill to get paid for, however there’s always a way to make money in the field of your passion. For example, I do shows for school assemblies, I teach kids how to jump and do cool tricks on their bike, and I’m a full time bike mechanic. I’m not old enough to give advise and I don’t have it all figured out, but I don’t care. I don’t really see the point in life if you wake up to do something you hate just so you can repeat it until you die or retire. Money is nice but it will never fill the hole that passion and purpose leaves
This video went hard. 🔥 :)
The majority of people who succeed in a system never think to question it. If you take all the work ethic and perseverance you used to become valedictorian and applied to a passion. Nothing can stop you.
Might as well graduate
Hey Bee...This is the most exciting time to be alive...you can be all that you set yourself to Be...we are in an age that you could become a candidate for the next mission to Mars whether it's on ground control or the actual flight things are happening just get on the Ball Girl !!,!,!
being younger is a good time to take some risks to try doing stuff you love. not saying you should quit your major, but another point to consider. also being pretty close to finishing a degree can be a reasonable reason to finishing it. me, im not the most studious person, but i liked learning about computer science to a certain extent, but doing totally personal projects not being guided.. i end up barely getting myself to do it if at all, thus questioning my 'passion'/level of interest. plus there are things which are so complicated like so many aspects that go into performance (w/e the compiler decides to do, diff hardware, how you write something, etc). and some things are just not that interesting like hundreds of the ways you can order numbers. and certain less useful abstract stuff just seem useless. there's my own rant lol. but i wouldn't say i hate the topic, and idk maybe if i stuck to it more i'd develop more of a passion or found what interests me in it more (to actually do, beyond just understanding)
I get where you coming from but you can build a life on passions but it won’t be easy either. Chase money or chase your dreams. I’m stuck in the same process straight As and hating the system still. This is a struggle for many you’re just verbalizing it. Respect 🗿
Based on how passionate you got saying it, you're supposed to travel. That's probably your true calling. Or closer to it than psychology at least. Psychology sounds more like your "play it safe for Mom and Dad" option. Like it is for a large number of people (myself included) who go to college. The reason you've lost interest is because you realize you are being conveyor belted into the rat race. Many in your generation are realizing this. Find a way to pay your bills until you find out how to travel for a living. You'll still have to work pretty hard but it'll probably take you much less than 4 years and you won't be in debt up to your ears.
I quit college and decided to pursue a pilots license, now using that to fuel other ways of living like exploring, scuba, music.
Do more physical activities, no not gym but things that you may like to experience. Don't be afraid to try your own route and believe in yourself.
