If decoupage isn't your thing, sharpie markers work great on these wooden crafts! The colors blend like tye dye!
Put some painters tape around the hanger - works great to keep the paint off of it. Love - love - doing birdhouses. Beautiful! - judy

Jody I use one of those glass plates and I mod podged a piece of decorative paper on the back. It cuts down on the glare. Just a little tip. Love this idea with the bird house .

OMG!! I just love the way you bring things to life. I've been trying to learn how to craft. I have about 3 tubs. Of items from DT, Walmart & Hobby lobby. I've made lots of cute things. That I found on your channel. Thanks for making things so easy to make. By the way. For Christmas I had 5 orders of your famous snowman and your penguin's made out of rice and sock's!! They came out so cute!! I just got a few orders for valentine and a gnome. I don't sell them I just gift them.

I’m glad I grabbed a couple of those birdhouses!! I didn’t have a plan for them, they are just taking up space in my craft wood! I didn’t even think about adding lights to them! I love how you thought about the little votive light on the back, it will make it very easy to use and to change batteries when needed.

I was at DT yesterday and they were putting out these pretty LED flower lights. They are roses and come in lavender, white or pale pink. 2 in a pack and last for 120 hours. It says flickering effect and when I turned one on its color changing! So pretty! I picked up 6. You have to see them. lol I also got the 3 butterfly pictures. :)
