What do you think of Shigarami's Shikai and Bankai, now we know exactly what it can do? What else can this zanpakuto do that we haven't seen yet? How powerful is Shigarami compared to other zanpakuto in Bleach? Let me know your thoughts!
Well the strings are made of reshi with that in mind lets remember that everything in soul society is made of reshi so it is possible that she could sow her thread into anything she wants with this hypothetical scenario her extra arms would be used as a way to sow and use her zanpakto faster
What if her Bankai connect to the Soul King domain? IIRC in your last video, Irazusando connects to Shutara palace. What if some of Soul Kings foresight ability somehow trickles down to her Bankai?
I always wondered would Kubo address what could have been Ichigo's release command for Zangetsu possibly be? I felt like out of all the ones that we got so far it doesn't seem to need one in all honesty cause it is always in the release state anyway. However i feel like Kubo giving all other character's zanpakuto release names was interesting why not give one to Zangetsu. Isshin's Engetsu has Burn i believe as the release state... Would Ichigo's one follow something of that nature?
I really like the idea that Senjumaru's Bankai power revolves around manipulating fate, and having Uryu being the one to defeat it. Thus setting up how the Antithesis is one of the few abilities that can counter the Almighty. Even if it is not actually the Zanpakuto's ability, I feel the whole idea of weaving someone's fate is a intentional reference, especially given Uryu's role as being one of the main individuals in the story to challenge his predetermined fate.
Shinjumaru’s Bankai Twists The Fate Of An Individual’s Spirit Ribbon 🎀 Therefore making one’s Fate (aka Death) come sooner If you pay attention each of The Royal Guards’ Eventual Demise is the same way her Bankai “Kills” them
so far only 2 abilities can kyoka suigetsu and antithesis but dam senjumaru has to be the 2nd strongest of the shinigami race as for uryu still not ahead of the elite guards except pernida
@@wisehunter0not confirmed but it's also hinted at that Ichigo can too. But it's not confirmed just a theory because he overcame the almighty during his last attack on Ywach.
@@rogue1248 he probably could, we see from the cour 3 trailer that Uryu broke out of the bankai, most likely using the antithesis which is one of the abilities in the verse that can overcome the almighty, so it's safe to assume everyone who can mess with the almighty which alters fate can mess with her bankai which weaves fate (aizen, tsukishima, Ichigo and Uryu. Possibly orihime who can reject fate and maybe ichibei because even tho the almighty can overpower his name manipulation we learn in the can't fear your own world novel that soul king fragments and abilities can negate his ability which could explain why Ywachs almighty worked because it's directly inhereted from the soul king)
I think that the pieces of cotton she used to cure Oetsu were made from the bones and hair of Oetsu himself, which is why they cured him so quickly. If Ichigo's uniform was made from parts of Squad Zero, then it is possible that Shutara has samples of each of the squad to heal from severe wounds.
Shinjumaru’s Bankai Twists The Fate Of An Individual’s Spirit Ribbon 🎀 Therefore making one’s Fate (aka Death) come sooner If you pay attention each of The Royal Guards’ Eventual Demise is the same way her Bankai “Kills” them
I think the key here is 'Reishi threads' not fabric threads. Since pretty much everything in Soul Society is made up of Reishi, she can basically weave whatever she wants into existence. Since fabric/clothing are already made out of threads of a different sort, she's much more adept/faster at making those alterations (and of course it leans into her theme).
I think her bankai’s ability is more like cursing the enemy into a doomed fate, as portrayed by the different hanks. Like, once it’s activated, sooner or later, you’re doomed to suffer the fate you are cursed with.
So excited to see the Senjumaru vs Uryu fight. I always felt that it was odd that Uryu never proved himself to the sternritter or fought a shinigami at all, especially when Yhwach said that he would show everyone that he was an asset. To have him fight another character who deserved more of a showcase, and being a total powerhouse, is perfect. Also, it’s funny how in Uryu’s earlier appearances he was shown to be proficient at sewing, I wonder if that will be referenced at all in this fight.
Yhwach also said Uryu was his heir, which was a blatant lie. Nothing Yhwach said about him existed for any other reason Than to put the focus on Uryu to make sure he couldn't do anything but be loyal.
@@corruptangel6793 sure, but that seemed more like Kubo telling us through Yhwach that Uryu would be in the war, having him not fight a shinigami at all was definitely a mistake on his end, which Kubo seems to be rectifying in this battle.
@@eggmcmuffin6067 I wouldn't call it a mistake that Uryu managed to avoid fighting until the end, but Kubo definitely changed his mind on that front, as evidenced by them cutting Haschwalth's scene where he explains that the reason he isn't upset with Uryu is because he knows everything Yhwach said was a farce.
@@corruptangel6793 to each their own but personally I just see it as a missed opportunity, there was never a moment I think anyone was convinced that Uryu might have actually gone rogue, but the story wants us to buy into it given the characters reactions to Uryu’s “betrayal.” Having him fight or even kill one of the good guys would’ve gone a long way in making his double agent arc feel more dramatic and weighty. Sure Uryu wouldn’t want to kill them but he could justify it as doing the greater good, which would make his eventual talk with Ichigo 10x more tense.
Senjumaru's design is both beautiful and menacing. I would argue the aura she has rivals of that of Unohana's. She is the first shinigami managed to kill a Sternritter only with a Shikai and without even moving legs and the first Shinigami who managed to technically killed 4 Schutztaffel in a single battle.
Imo each tanmono she weaves is capable of manifesting various abilities. Which was reflected in their respective designs. The tanmono that summoned fire showed burnt trees with a crimson background. The tanmono that summoned ice showed ice crystals. Etc. I think the big question comes down to if these are set and she just needs to weave that specific pattern to activate the respective ability or if its just an inifite grab bag that does whatever she needs in any given situation.
Is everyone missing the Fact that Uryu is a " Thread user " lets not forget early on he is the one with a needle a thread and now that they are fighting each other is just awesome.
I get the confusion of her tapestry illusion being "too much" for a simple shikai, but we have to remember that Squad Zero's members have powers that make any singular gotei member look like an ant. I think it's extremely fitting that the shikai of a Squad Zero member would look like a normal shinigami's bankai. The counterpoint is obviously Kirinji and Kinpika, but I feel like his fights and abilities outside of "he's the best healer" were never given much thought, which is a shame. Doubly so, since Senjumaru can apparently heal fatal wounds too? Kirinji just can't catch a break. >.>
that's kinda true but if his Shikai is a sword that reflects light, then there's a chance his Bankai can probably absorb light or high energy in general... idk I'm just tryna hype him up lol
well no because kirinji plays a huge role in his healing. When he heals someone, they’re straight up stronger than before they were injured. Not only that, but his healing completely rids of the body of poison and shit like that, so a fight between someone like him and mayuri would go in kirinji’s favor, as we saw with how he was able to neutralize askin’s poison as well. Id imagine HIS bankai would be the most troublesome, making him nigh invincible with a fucking ocean of boiling water and blood at his command. pretty op honestly.
@Lilymacdonald-cc6gh not to mention the fact that the blood water forcebly draws out the blood of whoever touches it. There’s for like unohana, how she threw her blood at kenpachi to cut him and heal him, if kirinji wanted he could draw blood out without replacing it. thats fucking overpowered.
@Lilymacdonald-cc6gh @user-jv7qk7ex6c I agree with both of your points, but you would think that the man touted as one of the strongest for his healing arts would be showing off more of his healing chops and not just jobbing whenever he's on screen.
@Fgtr4Life He did show off his healing chops when he was healing Renji, Rukia and Byakuya. And then later on Oetsu. I don't know why people feel like you have to see a power 1000 times to then feel like you finally get how big of a deal it is. Yeah, the Zero Division "jobbed" out if you take it all put of the narrative framework of how Oetsu and Senjumaru initially killed all of Yhwach's personal guards before them getting revived and a second chance to fight back.
Really enjoyed this video. It makes sense that Senjumaru's Bankai could manipulate reality. Astronomers describe the universe as being comprised of "fabrics" of space and time. I guess Senjumaru can weave those fabrics too.
Senjumaru is also a scientist so I don’t think it’s that crazy to think she has other methods to amplify her Shikai’s abilities outside of her arms. But even with that, she’s insane in terms of feats. If she can conjure up illusions even half as good as the fake Soul Palace, that’s enough to dupe the majority of the cast. That on top of the special healing technique makes her extremely dangerous. The anime did an exceptional job demonstrating how magnanimously powerful she is. In terms of the teleporting in Bankai, to me it was clear she was killing each Elite one by one so that still fits with the theme of teleporting within the same cloth. I also think there might be more than the description provided on the Bankai’s basic ability given that too much information might spoil what will happen in the next cour.
If her bankai is an interdimensional, multiverse shaking power, its not a stretch to believe that her shikai is also insanely powerful. Being a member of the Zero Division, she should be scaled beyond of a captain level soul reaper. As such, her shikai is at the same level of a captain's bankai
To be fair we still don’t actually know exactly how many things she can do with her shikai threads, or spools when in bankai - we only now know HOW it works. Which is partly why I love that Kubo never goes into much detail in his Klub Outside answers - it still leaves a lot to be discussed and theorized on.
The thing is her arms disappear when she uses bankai and also the parasol she creates involves her arms so i assume her arms are made out of the threads her shikai creates. It also looks a bit bigger when she tries to block gerard in the manga but considering thats just an illusion and not even her its probably unimportant and just a visual thing. Maybe she can make it bigger and smaller like hikifune's rice paddle. And as you point out she can make more than one needle so its completely confusing. The shikai being her arms makes much more sense. If her bankai's power isn't to manifest the fates of the people she uses it on then that must just be a power of herself to be able to see the fates of her foes because she did select perfectly fitting attacks to use against each of them it can't be a coincidence. And the deity senjumaru is based on has a lot to do with fate i believe.
You can't tell me that she rolls out a carpet of red fabric and not have her Bankai's torture domains not be related to (a possible) fate of her opponent. It's literally the red string of fate story XD
Senjumaru in action was an amazing sequence and a perfect way to close the cour. It's also interesting that despite her status and lethality in CFYOW she's shocked and then quietly angered when Ichibei revealed what exactly they were guarding regarding the Spirit King and what the ancestors did to him despite his cooperation. She's got some hidden depths for sure.
Simple, CFYOW is working with another guy's interpretation of a few notes from Kubo. So you can't expect too much continuity between it and the main story canon.
I think the whole "to control fabrics" I think it's more deep than what we think it is. I think it's more like the Fabric of Matter or Space. From how it looks from the surroundings. It's makes it seem like its more of the Fabric of Matter. Having control over Matter is godly! The only counter is Antimatter or anything that can split a atom. Having this control makes a lot of sense than let's say Cotton or some kind of fabric like that.
I feel that her bankai being used was a fail safe to kill/defeat ywachs Royal guard even if zero squad were to lose. There fates are already sealed and leaving the rest of the work to the gotei.
I think... There is no need to over analyze the ability itself... For most asian folklore... Red Thread represents someone's fate... So for me, her ability is just simplified literal representation of Red Thread of Fate which i think has the ability to influence the "fabric" of reality... Hence, Thread and roll of fabrics is the theme of her Bankai
I think you may be on to something. Just as Ichibe controls all black in the universe, perhaps each zero squad member has an element or thing they control- Senjumaru's own being fabrics, and her control is so extensive, she can manipulate the very fabric of the world around her. It was quite clear why the other zero members chose her ultimately to fight the elite quincies- her powerset is undoubtedly the most varied in the squad, best suited for the range of powers the quincies have.
I saw her Bankai's ability as creating tapestries. Stories of defeat sewn into patterns of cloth. As for the illusion she creates at the start of the fight, I figured she replicated an effect of her Bankai by using the Shikai. It just doesn't have the ability to affect any direct change - it's a disguise. The healing on the other hand is a bit harder to pin down. My only guess is that it's related to a theme of repairing an outfit.
I am personally really excited to see of what else her bankai can do in cour 3. As per Senjumaru shikai that can garner and generate unlimited threads of reishi, I guess its possible for her to weave and invent anything in this state as swiftly as possible considering that she has thousand arms to do so, making her orchestrate her crafts neatly with little prep time. And for the fake palace, I guess it was her shikai too, it was revealed in CFYOW by Mayuri that she was able to weave an entire new layer in the palace when she created it.
As per the ability to “simply control fabric” - I’d like to outline the phrase: The Fabric of Space and Time … Just something to consider when looking at her Bankai and it’s relation to “weaving future fates”
A big thing that I think you're missing is material. Why would you ever think that Senjumaru is limited to something like cotton? There's bound to be countless esoteric materials in the three worlds that she has likely collected. She is also likely to have spent centuries experimenting with different methods of infusing reishi into those materials.
This Zanpakutou is so amazing! The visuals are epic and the just everything epic!!!. No words are enough. (Also, she reminds me of an OC from story I wrote years ago which is nice ^^)
I don't think that's "too much" for a Shikai. Her Shikai uses infinite Reishi threads, not regular threads, her threads are capable of sewing even liquid substances like blood. Her abilities can even heal. It's like using Reishi to create anything of her choosing. It's a form of reality warping. I think you're underestimating her abilities.
She can manipulate reality in a variety of ways, her bankai is literally weaving fate. Once done, no matter what happens after, resurrections etc., they cannot escape the fate she has weaved. That's why she was picked by the others. Her Bankai is a done deal. All other abilities are versions of manipulating reality but not absolute like her bankai.
I think you may be onto something regarding Senjumaru using aspects of her bankai without releasing it and it got me thinking. The zero division being essentially crippled to the point where they can't use they're strongest ability would suck, so..... what if they can utilize a small portion of their bankai's ability in shikai? I feel it would explain a couple things. For one I think it would of course explain Senjumaru's ability to those illusions since she can do the same in fully released bankai. It would also explain tenjiro's water manipulation, likely being an aspect of his bankai. Perhaps, Oetsu's godlike speed may be his special bankai ability, as well as Kirio's ability to completely control plants.
That giant needle is not the sealed state of her Zanpakuto. She can clearly change the size of her shikai. Hikifune, for example, showed with her death that her Zanpakuto is a blade in its sealed state, like any other Zanpakuto. Shutara's should be no different. Its pretty obvious how Shutara created to tapestries: Infinite reishi threads. EVERYTHING in those dimensions are made out of reishi, so it should be a simple matter to weave the environment just as she can clothing. It's the same material, after all. Even Oetsu's flesh is just reishi, which is why she could restore his body.
Could the reason he escaped be because it didn’t depict his death or even try to counter him? It was more of a “this is your future” kind of thing rather then how the others got effected. I would think the others would have to fight their counter to break free while he doesn’t seem to have to.
I think those illusion garbs worked because she had prep time to create those. They were going to bring Ywhach in from the beginning so I imagine she did that with shikai but had time to prepare. Her bankai probably just speeds up the process by several times.
As moving across distances we series like this just imagine them running very fast and acting cool when they arrive. This is squad 0 and at least for her it was shown she can move great distances in an instant when squad 0 arrived and she went to kuroshudhi lab and got everything she wanted. Like how Michael Myers seem to walk but the joke is he start walking when they turn around
A question I've had for a while is, how come she was fast enough to re-sew Nyanzol's clothes right in front of everyone's eyes without anyone even noticing but she's apparently not fast enough to just stab the Sternritters outright before they can even see her coming? If she can re-sow someone's clothes on their body before they even see anything happen, can't she just shank them in the skull in a fraction of the time?
Maybe Senjumaru soaked her fabrics in Kirinji's hot springs to absorb healing properties? Thats how she healed Oetsu. They seem to all work very closely together, so it is possible.
10:50 There is some kind of real-world tie to the umbrella. With what little I know, I think it's called edo daikagura, which is basically juggling objects on an umbrella, and the color red holds significance though I don't know exactly in what way.
Shigarami’s are a lot like Kisuke’s Benihime in the way their both so versatile but it also looks like it heavily benefits from ample prep time just like Mayuri effectively combing the greatest aspects of Bleach’s best scientists
Senjumaru is soo cool. Her art design is just amezing. Bleach do a great job wioth this but Senjumaru is something i never seen before in bleach or in any other anime. 10/10 art and super fkn cool zanpakutõ
I dunno, I think the fate thing is still going to be weaved in somehow, if you'll excuse the pun. It might relate to the bootstrap paradox in time travel. Senjumaru showing them their fates might have the effect of them recognising this in their respective fights later and doing something to avert it, and in doing so, causing the thing they were trying to avoid to happen. "A person often meets his destiny on the road he took to avoid it." It's a common feature of Greek mythology and tragedy and I'd love to see it here. I guarantee they are going to show flashbacks to Senjumaru's bankai in each of those fights and the Schutzstaffel are probably going to be consciously thinking about it, and if they're thinking about it, they're going to consciously act on those thoughts (with dialogue, whether internal or external) in a way we didn't see (or wasn't explained) in the manga. We have two whole cours to go and a lot of room for more story and fleshing out of future battles. I don't think we should toss out the fate theories just yet.
As what many have already pointed out, it's threads of reishi. She can conceivably weave intricate illusions out of her fabrics by manipulating that reishi of the threads. It safe to say that her zanpkuto leans towards Kido than Power, so like Benihime, it has that wide application from a seemingly simple mechanic/gimmick that she's adjusting the potency of as needing.
In greek mythology fate and sewing are linked to the Moirai primordial divinities. Lachesis is the one that manipulates threads of people's destiny and choses when it should end. Maybe some nice correlation ? :D
HII TOMMO, love your channel! But i wonder do you watch/read any other anime/manga than Bleach? And could you maybe do some sort of video about what you like besides Bleach? Keep upp your amazing work!
Could the foreshadowing of her banki be linked to spirit threads? What if she didn't pick the death methods but the thread itself picked them and she just ran with it. All kills were personal to each person that dealt with a fear in some way. Maybe the spirit thread can act like the Greek mythos and see the fate or deaths of each person. Even her fighting what's his name in the banki is wild, of all of them why the weakest make it out? I really think her threads (not her) can see into the spirit of a person and learn how they meet their end.
Perhaps she can combine kido into her weaves? It would explain the dynamic illusion, maybe. There's kido for sealing, illusions, space/time manipulation, etc. Also, while unlikely, it's possible the patterns are just references because Kubo intends to do something different with them.
At the beginning of Bleach the "red thread of destiny" was a big theme so i think that Senjumaru having "thread" powers and referencing destiny i think could just be a thematic thing from Kubo.
I feel like the is video will need a follow up when the anime comes back incase more info is shown for the end of the battle of the Schutzstaffel with this bankai
I think Senjumaru's zanpaktou abilities are only limited by her own creativity and imagination. I think this can also be said for most zanpaktou abilities. As an example take Hyonimaru's powers and abilities, it's an incredibly powerful and versatile zanpaktou but unfortunately captain Hitsugaya is a very rigid person and not extremely creative, unlike when he becomes a zombie and the way he used Hyonimaru then is vastly different and actually even more dangerous. Kubo shows us very often that it's not the power of the zanpaktou that's impressive but the various ways they can be implemented. I also think Senjumaru's power scales to such a degree as to be able to interact with the fabric of reality in a literal sense. Which makes so much sense when you think of the type of power she has and the theme of being a seamstress.
I prefer to think that Senjumaru's bankai can weave or at least perceive the future. It fits thematically and makes more sense since a bankai that can just seal shouldn't be shaking the worlds.
Its likely that the RG received a power boost/immortality by the Soul King when they get promoted, remember they get promoted based on contributions to SS not just being all powerful
What if, Squad Zero members powers manipulate/affect time? out of two known examples being Senjumaru and Ichibe it seems like they both affected time, Ichibe blacked out Yhwachs name in their battle, which affected the past when Ichigo asked "zangetsu" its name it was blacked out despite battle happening hundreds of chapters later, and Senjumarus Bankai affected or rather predicted the future that was shown by defeating Schutstaffel in the same ways as they would later be killed or just encounter in the future
@gemini.saga3 she literally wove an alternate reality with fabric. And if not for uryu (presumably, based on the cour 3 trailer), she would've single handle solo'd the entire schutzstaffel with minimal effort. Just her activating bankai makes all 3 worlds shake, as you can see from isshin, ryuken, ichigo & Co, and shunsui, reacting to the sudden judder. Obviously, she can't compete with the likes of yhwach, aizen, or ichigo (with his true power), but she's still really broken in terms of her actual ability. And, theoretically, all of squad zero possess this kind of power.
@@angelaizen2231I belive senjumaru can compete with Aizen she is a transcended shimigami she is a Deity a God and her spiritual pressure shook the 3 realms at that Her bankai is stupid Broken can basically manipulate reality and weave your fate into anything she wants I don't remember Aizens spiritual pressure shaking the 3 realms or anything like that at all yes I do know he subjecated the Houguku sorry about the misspelling and fused with his zanpakto I get that remember if they both have spiritual pressure the one with the strongest wins and it's obviously senjumaru spiritual pressure is super more than Aizens hands down like I said she is basically a God all she has to do is use her Bankai on Aizen and manipulate and weave his whole fate senjumaru is stronger than Yamamoto and Aizen wasn't trying to fight Yama 1v1 he had to use margera to contain his fire from Ryun jakka my bad the spelling if he had to do that just imagine if Aizen and senjumaru went 1v1 with out Aizen scheming senjumaru has her full power from the get go there is no way Aizen can prepare for a power house like senjumaru on the fly her spiritual pressure is Hella maxed shook the 3 realms like nothing I don't see Aizen coming out on top and if he does he would be near dead fighting senjumaru even with the Houguku that's just my opinion I know Aizen is powerful but squad zero are built different especially Ichibe oetsu and senjumaru
@richardmccormick8687 Side note before I genuinely respond, that was incredibly difficult to read, considering it was all one sentence 😅 Before I fully respond to this, are you familiar with all the events of the tybw? Like as in, how the manga ends.
For the big tapestry around the cage, she could have had that pre-woven as a defense to where she could then alter the looks of the cloth as she pleases once its deployed
I do think with her abilities she probably has at the least some first aid type healing capabilities, but I believe the miraculous healing she does on Oetsu is much more related to one of the innate properties of the 0 squad members, that they can be revived as long as there is another member around to bring them back
Senjumaru's bankai actually might have some dominion over fate. It's a bit of a stretch, but her bankai might actually be referencing or bases the fates in Greek mythology
The Bankai's reference to the web of fate is actually nice, and makes her great weaver epitaph a lot more prominent. Especially combined with her spider like arms.
What if the trapped enemies are in a state of "slumber" inside the fabric and then forced to live a reallistic dream controlled by her...like an illusion. Being a Bankai, the effects are real (somewhat similar to Kinshara Butōdan, but not so easily counterable)
When i become Emperor of the world this SHALL be made into a live action weekly running show. With some minor imperial inputs. Dont make me send my enforcer Warf Data- Vader.
Her arms definitely make a lot more sense now that we know her Zanpakuto’s abilities. The arms let her take her swords simple ability to the next level, multiplying the speed at which she can weave objects by several times.
If the threads are made of reishi, and reishi is basically what all of the spirit world is made of, I wonder if her shikai lets her manipulate the thread’s properties. From simple things, like changing the color to black for the squad 0 emblem and then red for the umbrella. But then also complex things like having the tapestries she makes change color in real time to show their cities falling apart. Similarly, the way she healed Oetsu could be her having found a way to make the reishi string transform into whatever flesh it touches, kind of like a stem cell. The one thing that confuses me about senjumaru is her speed. If she was able to sew a new outfit for Nianzol without him even noticing, and make an umbrella in seconds, I feel like she could poke Gerard’s eyes out faster than he could see it coming.
Well she's indeed stated to be swift at getting things done in the manga, she even have the quote there "Quick work is my biggest selling point, they don't call me Senjumaru (Thousand Arms) for nothing." But yea her speed definitely has something to do with her artificial limbs
Nice video. My guess is that its not that her Shikai can do all of those things. Its that each thread possess an innate magical ability, and she simply puts them together. For example; an thread capable of producing illusions, and a thread capable of reflecting reishi. Her shikai would simply be able to put these things together rlly fast, making the most use of these magical objects.
I wonder if because the zero division have "ascended" to a new level of Shinigami and have ouken bones, they might be able to not only use some powers of their shikai in base forms, because they naturally understand that the blade is themselves, and they can do some special acts
Fair and excellent. Think 🤔 💬💬 🤔 because to point aside from achievement, achieved Shikai and Bankai having been around longer and in some cases sudo y then previous Gotie 13 have awaken new powers having the oken ascended past normal Gotie 13 standards.
"seems like a bit too much for a shikai to me" Kyoka suigetsu: Shes in squad zero I wouldn't put it past her being able to do that especially with time to prepare
So, we have seen bankai abilities used in a reduced capacity in shikai by particularly powerful shinigami. as for multiplying, I think she has multiple needles that are visual replicas, but are not themselves part of the shikayi.
Forgive my spelling but If the shikai has infinite energy then it’s possible with time she could create replicas with the same textures and works well if the enemy hasn’t seen the said object/place before
I think that her threads are able to become whatever they need to be whenever she needs them to be. Instead of weaving fate, they weave physical objects. Her bankai takes it a step further and weaves dimension so that she can change the rules. The different weaves are essentially their own dimensional pocket where she seals away her enemies.
Basically her power is she can create/weave anything she want from strings and fabrics. Her shikai weaves organic-inorganic materials, changes their properites. Her bankai weaves energy-immaterial things (space-time, concept...).
So I have a couple of theories. First I think solves the illusions thing and it's that she can create infinite threads and weave then as she wants it's not out of the realm of possibilities that she can control the colours at will or re-weave it on the fly at incredible speeds to create the moving realistic illusions we see obviously this doesn't explain the healing this could be explained either by the unconventional bodies of the zeros or just by saying she's got such a high degree of ability to manipulate reishi threads that she can make them a true flesh replacement. Second theory is that she can use kido through her threads and weaves adding illusions or other effects this probably better explains the healing and also things like how the threads harden or produce fire or mirrors at times maybe?
What do you think of Shigarami's Shikai and Bankai, now we know exactly what it can do? What else can this zanpakuto do that we haven't seen yet? How powerful is Shigarami compared to other zanpakuto in Bleach? Let me know your thoughts!
She is able to literally unravel the universe the threads of time, I feel if her needle managed to pierce, she then can meddle with their soul itself.
Agree 100% she’s my favourite 0 division member
Well the strings are made of reshi with that in mind lets remember that everything in soul society is made of reshi so it is possible that she could sow her thread into anything she wants with this hypothetical scenario her extra arms would be used as a way to sow and use her zanpakto faster

@@wisehunter0not confirmed but it's also hinted at that Ichigo can too. But it's not confirmed just a theory because he overcame the almighty during his last attack on Ywach.
so does that mean Ichigo can shatter the fate senjumaru manipulates.
That and the fact that all she did was surgery on a cellular level. In other words: weaving with thread

Yeah, and it's far closer to being Kido-type than Power-type. So there's a wider application to her powers with reishi threads.
I think her bankai’s ability is more like cursing the enemy into a doomed fate, as portrayed by the different hanks. Like, once it’s activated, sooner or later, you’re doomed to suffer the fate you are cursed with.
You know what else is often referred to as a fabric? Space-time.
oh my god
Damn that actually makes a lot of sense ngl🔥
Her umbrella created by both threads and her spider-like hands might be one of the single most striking abilities in Bleach

Best bleach reviewer I've ever seen
If her bankai is an interdimensional, multiverse shaking power, its not a stretch to believe that her shikai is also insanely powerful.
Being a member of the Zero Division, she should be scaled beyond of a captain level soul reaper. As such, her shikai is at the same level of a captain's bankai
SHUTATSU KARAGARA SHIGARAMI NO TSUJI
That's an interesting point about the arms disappearing. It's also possible they are her Zanpakuto's scabbard
Note as soon as YHwach saw her he sent a grunt in

Yhwach: NOPE!!!
Almighty go brrr
That's not too far off Oetsu can sense and know where all the zanpakuto he forged are at any given time.
As per the ability to “simply control fabric” - I’d like to outline the phrase: The Fabric of Space and Time …
Just something to consider when looking at her Bankai and it’s relation to “weaving future fates”
Been patiently waiting for this upload 🙇🏻♂️
A big thing that I think you're missing is material. Why would you ever think that Senjumaru is limited to something like cotton? There's bound to be countless esoteric materials in the three worlds that she has likely collected. She is also likely to have spent centuries experimenting with different methods of infusing reishi into those materials.
This Zanpakutou is so amazing! The visuals are epic and the just everything epic!!!.
No words are enough. (Also, she reminds me of an OC from story I wrote years ago which is nice ^^)
Her Bankai is a Curse, Like How Ichibe uses Kido, how it does not outright kill as curse you to a death she weaves.,. It shook the four worlds
I think its also impressive how not even ywah noticed that the fake royal palace was an illusion, i think he didnt notice if i remember
He didn't seem to notice, but he also didn't seem surprised, so it's hard to say
Into Zero Division only the few shinigami will be promoted who are able NOT to talk about their zanpaktou powers to screw them over right after
I think you may be onto something regarding Senjumaru using aspects of her bankai without releasing it and it got me thinking.
Fair point. Aside from add ons hope there are thousand ( no pun - pun intended) of changes and add ons for cores 3 & 4
I really wish kubo was able to explain all their power and their crazy hax
I love senjumaru shes one of my favorite characters now her design is so cool to me
I’m so glad that we’ve started redeeming The Zero Division. We really didn’t get to experience them enough to see the hype before, but this is good.
Love your pronounciation of the bankai XD keep up the great work!!!
The simplest way to explain it is that she can quite literally weave the fabric of reality
I can't wait to see Uryu vs Senjumaru when the anime comes back.
Is Senjumaru Udahara's madukes? Their bankai have relatively close abilites, and it could explain how udahara knew so much about the Soul king.

@@richardmccormick8687 just a yes or no, so I can formulate my answer so as to not potentially spoil the series for you.
For the big tapestry around the cage, she could have had that pre-woven as a defense to where she could then alter the looks of the cloth as she pleases once its deployed
I do think with her abilities she probably has at the least some first aid type healing capabilities, but I believe the miraculous healing she does on Oetsu is much more related to one of the innate properties of the 0 squad members, that they can be revived as long as there is another member around to bring them back
Since she uses threads she can probably control things like a puppet master, like controlling the lookalike dolls she makes
I think when they say she can control fabric maybe she can control the "fabric "of reality as well which would kinda explain the bankai
Maybe the sealed state is similar to Senbonzakura breaking apart into the needles when it was "destroyed".
I like to this of her power being the ability to "weave reality"
It has the ability to create using threads and needles as a basis. In its Bankai form, it cranks its ability to create up to 11
Any day Mr.Tommo uploads is a better day by default!🎉
"seems like a bit too much for a shikai to me"
Kyoka suigetsu:
Shes in squad zero I wouldn't put it past her being able to do that especially with time to prepare
