    • @mangomoon
      @mangomoon 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      That's a naive and incorrect view. The failure to invest in cheaper and renewable energy sources of past governments can probably never be 'fixed' actually, only addressed. It is also not all on the Tories, but partly on the majority of the British public who voted to leave the European Union. We do not officially live in a dictatorship but a democracy, if you start blaming political parties for the uninformed and unintelligent will of the people you are being biased and delusional.

Cameron gave us a referendum not because he respects your opinion or the integrity of our democracy but because it threatened to split the Conservative party and lead to them losing office. Than after promising to stick around to see it through he fled, seeing it for the shit storm it was. It is also highly relevant as whilst an uneducated population is at fault our population is being deliberately misled for the sake of a select few to consolidate power. But if you want to vote Tory do your thing. Just make sure you are politically literate first.

    • @mangomoon
      @mangomoon 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@slenda8205 no, it was completely irrelevant to the conversation because even if what you say were true it would still mean that there are factors affecting the current 'state of the country' which were in effect prior to 12 years ago, such as energy sources and other environmental and economic factors. Therefor it is still absurd and short-sighted to say 12 years in power is 'ample' time to 'fix' millennia of pollution etc. and therefore the Tories are entirely responsible for the state of the country and for the democratic wishes of the country. You completely failed to comprehend the conversation because of your political bias. You also should not assume you are politically literate when you are not linguistically literate, typing words like 'than' instead of 'then', 'through' instead of 'few' and typing Tory's (belonging to Tory) rather than Tories (more than one Tory). If an MP makes a false statement, and it is shown to be a false statement, the law should state that the MP should correct the mistake publicly and that if they do not do so they would be dismissed as an MP. Now we all know that makes sense; it's a no-brainer. But the problem is that this simple idea would completely sink the fun and games of parliament. Neither party would go for it, because none of this is real. It's all an act, like WWF. It's entertainment to distract the nation while the establishment carries on doing as it pleases. And this is why no winning point is every quite pressed home all the way. It is why system allows for the dodging and faking. It is why we do not have a written constitution. Indeed it is why we only have a sham of a democracy. I simply cannot take any of these people seriously. Can anyone single one of them given me a good reason to?

      Beacaue labour is the best chance of getting the Tories out. And the Tories are stealing our money hand over fist whilst running the country into the ground.
      Politics is not where every important things happens. But it is certainly important when it comes to how our collective money gets spent. don't be fooled. The idea that all politicians are as bad as each other is Tory propoganda. They are spreading this to hide the fact that THEY are the party of corruption, THEY are the party of landlords, multimillionaires and billionaires, and THEY are the people that despise the common man. It's a tactic to dissuade people with a social conscience from voting.
      Voting against the Tories will make a big difference.
      Btw: just because our Constitution isn't written down in a codified form, doesn't mean we don't have one.
      The reason that points aren't necessarily driven home in PMQs is that opposition leader only gets 6 questions and the Tories are up to a lot of shit.

      1) The borrowing is high only because of the huge amount needed to keep the country going, people on furlough and whole industries running for 2 years because of a global pandemic called COVID. prior to COVID we ran a balanced budget. The difference is Labour spend, tax and borrow in normal times and why the Coalition inherited an empty Treasury and a £145 Bn a year fiscal deficit in 2010.

      What has Starmer directly done to you or your family? It’s simple vote Boris and conservatives out now and forget who is coming in. It’s this attitude that brought about Brexit that has killed this country.

    Couldn't vote tory could never vote Labour, our system is very broken.. if we had a party that wanted a referendum to return to Europe I'd love that, what a state this country is in from a business point of view
