Byakuya knew Mondo killed Chihiro the whole time, and would have exposed him if there was no other out. So Mondo keeping his mouth shut couldn't save him. Leaving Chihiro's corpse alone actually might have, because it would have meant Byakuya didn't see him leaving the crime scene. Of course, if Mondo had the presence of mind to realize he was not in a good place, he could have also cancelled the meeting with Chihiro in the first place, preventing the murder.
And yes, the fact that you as the player can tell Chihiro they should go to Mondo for help is a knife in the gut, thanks for reminding me.
Here’s the thing, who would have believed Byakuya at that point? Mondo could have had simply denied the claims. If the handbook thing had been brought up he could have just claimed that someone switched his out and planted the broken one on him.
There wouldn’t have been enough evidence to convict if he didn’t blab about the blue tracksuit.
And you would believe the dude Who said he tampered with the crime scene, was alone at night And had every oportunity to kill chihiro? At That point Mondo had more credibility Than Byakuya, Yes, of course Makoto believed Byakuya didn't do it but it's not the same for everyone

I feel like y'all are really underestimating Byakuya, and, frankly, Kyoko. Do you think he couldn't at least convince her of the truth, and then she could convince the others? She already noticed the slip up when Mondo referred to Chihiro as "dude," so she was already suspicious of him. Byakuya dug this hole knowing full well he might have to dig himself out, he's an asshole, not an idiot. The entire shape of the trial would have changed if Byakuya didn't know Mondo was guilty going into it, so the truth is, Mondo was screwed well before the tracksuit slip up. It is a pivotal moment in the resolution of the trial as it actually played out, but preventing it would not have saved him.
Yeah, he even told it right away, hadn't Makoto & Kyoko convinced the rest of the class about his innocence, then he would have said that Mondo was the culprit (though Idk how could convince the class at this point)
@@illuminatedjoy24 As much as I love Byakuya, he's kind of an idiot, especially when it comes to social interaction. He'd be able to convince Toko since she's obsessed with him, but with how much of the remaining cast already disliked Byakuya and had reasonable suspicion against him, I doubt he'd make much headway elsewhere. These characters aren't the smartest, I'm not sure how well "I was trying to leave evidence behind as a test" would fly for most of them. With Kyoko, she's a great detective, but she's not a mind reader. She isn't gonna suspect a person for no reason, and she herself said that the reason she believed it was Mondo was due to him calling Chihiro "dude." Take that away, and why would she suspect him in particular? Maybe she'd believe Byakuya's innocent, and maybe she'd believe him if he told her that Mondo was at the crime scene, but that's not evidence, it's testimony from the only person confirmed to be at the scene of the crime other than the victim. Not only that, but the majority of the rest of the cast at that point is overly emotional at best and completely moronic at worst, and the only reason they didn't vote Byakuya sooner is because Kyoko established reasonable doubt from Chihiro's gender reveal. If they can't tie that to Mondo, they have no reason to continue the discussion, and that goes away with his second slip of the tongue. I'd say Byakuya's side would have Toko, Kyoko, probably Makoto since he caught on to Byakuya's demeanor and ruled him out as the killer before Chihiro's gender reveal, and maybe a 50/50 with Celeste and Sakura since they're the more reasonable and level-headed members of the remaining cast, but I don't like their odds with the other five, especially when they'd have no reasonable suspicion against another individual person at that moment.
TLDR, maybe Byakuya and Kyoko could've convinced the class of Mondo's guilt, but I don't think it would've been guaranteed. Byakuya did just about everything possible to place suspicion on himself and I'm not sure he would've been able to dig out if Mondo didn't make his two slips, even with Kyoko's help.

I agree that every death could've been prevented somewhat but if there's any blackened that could've been saved the first one that comes to mind is Mondo, because the only reason he got caught was because he slipped up his words 💀

True however Byakuya did say he saw Mondo so if mondo didn’t slip up then Byakuya would have had to confessed to seeing him eventually.

Kyoko also said she was suspicious of Mondo before the trial even started, I doubt Mondo would have won the trial when Byakuya knew it was him and Kyoko was suspicious of him
Many slip ups with him calling chihiro a guy before anyone knew and the tracksuit but he still would have been caught since byakuya knew it was him and kyoko pretty much knew as well however celeste could have if she has one I don't know maybe lock the door that had hifumi and takas bodies since the class trial would have started anyways for taka after a while that door would have needed to be opened for the class trial and she would have gotten away with it or she could have just been herself and not talk that much during the trial after all the smartest one there wasn't around when everyone was together if Celeste wasn't so talkative and had her character be changed just so that she could be caught she would have won
Funny that nine of this characters surviving would mean the death of at least one other pearson.
And for real, every boy with a name that starts with a K in V3 was doomed from the very start. Korekiyo was so far gone that the only way for him surviving would be if someone strong caught him trying to kill some girl and locking him up for the rest of the game; Kokichi would either get killed because everyone is fed up with him or because he would make a heroic sacrifice; Kaito was sick, so even if he won the trial, he would die on the same day; And keebo escaping was meaningless because his cpu only worked inside the cage.
Not just all the boys. Literally every character in V3 that starts with a K died. Tsumugi just hates that letter I guess
To be fair, if the victim deaths were prevented, then the would-be blackened wouldn't get executed. So the victim surviving would wind up saving two lives rather than just one.

Actually, Angie still would've died if she let the book on fire. It seems the motive was also a murder weapon because in the end page it said watch out for Cobon monoxide poisoning. So, assuming Angie lit the Necromancacon in her lab it would have filled up with harmful chemicals most likely coursing her to pass out and depending how much smoke was inside killed her due to lack of clean air. Pretty bad fate but still would've been a very interesting case to explore.
i love the idea of this more than i should (not of her dying, but how the case would play out and be handled as a whole), it gets rid of the evidence since the book is burnt, the smoke might just fizzle out into the air overnight, etc etc
@@L0TUSFL0W34S It would've been a great way to shake things up imagen having both Maki and Himiko thrown under the bus. Plus, Kiibo could scan the room to search for harmful chemicals in the air. That would've been a huge help since he didn't have much going for him at the time.
Uhh, the Carbon Monoxide wasn't a trap of any sort, if that's what you're implying. It's simply a side effect of lighting a fire in the first place. Smoke contains that stuff by default (and that's why it's important to have proper ventilation if you light a fire indoors). And I'm pretty sure anyone with common sense wouldn't make the mistake of intentionally inhaling smoke.
@@lasatar6428 Well, that is true I would say considering the fuse at the chance of bringing their friend back and since Angie is a very naive girl, she probably wouldn't listen to the warning and sit praying for the chosen return. Probably inhaling the smoke thinking it was working. But that's how I think it would play out I don't remember how ventilated her Ultimate lab was.
@@creativecutieprincessd Angie has proven herself to be very smart and logical multiple times, if there were someone else there I can see her pretending to be naive about the smoke just so they get concerned about her. Even then, she wouldn't inhale wnough to die or get sick. But on her own? There's absolutely no way she'd be stupid enough to directly inhale smoke. Her entire naivete is implied several times to be a persona she keeps up, just how she uses Atua to get people to listen to her. This becomes most apparent during trials and her free time events. Also given her religion and the fact that she believed the necromicon would work in the first place, it's likely she's done similar rituals before. If she died from inhaling smoke from a small fire that she herself lit, it would be a very dumb case overall and just feel like the writers wanted to kill her off without thinking about how to do it. And I doubt the book would be enough till a whole room with smoke, you'd have to be sitting over it to even have a chance of dying. Basic instinct would prevent you from inhaling the fumes, even if she was praying with her eyes closed over it she would begin coughing and instictively move her head/open her eyes. The actual case had much more substance and her actions made sense.
There's another way junko could have won, she could keep Mukuro the way she was and not have her pretend to be her sister. Then Mukuro could say that she saw an article while walking to school the first day that she would not be attending some show due to her falling very ill and therefore they wouldn't have known she was even involved in the killing game.

@Content Deleted I wholeheartedly agree with you, I think she wanted to set up a route for her to lose, and predicted that Chihiro would make Alter Ego, so thus came AI Junko where she could get the despair of losing and dying, but still cause more despair. I think she planned the second game before the first one even started, because of her meeting Izuru and showing him despair to make him the next "mastermind". I think she planned to have many many more games even after AI Junko's death too, because of the whole plunging the world into despair thing would inspire others after people have gotten used to despair. But she knew at some point she wouldn't be able to stop Danganronpa from discontinuing because if the world gets used to despair then you would have to change their personalities, and if Junko could only inspire after her death and not tailor a new mastermind such as Izuru, she couldn't know who the next mastermind would be, and thus not know how the cast members memories would change. The thought of Danganronpa ending finally would bring her so much despair though, so I don't think she would even try to come up with a plan to stop it.

To be fair, Kaito was dying anyway. He didn't even die to his execution; his own illness beat Monokuma to the punch. Even if he hadn't revealed himself, he would've died anyway; it just wouldn't have been as glorious.

3:41 i think the actual reason peko killed mahiru Was because she though fuyuhiko was gonna kill her and killed mahiru so fuyuhiko won't have to be a blackend. I belive she used the whole "i'm just a Tool,Not a Person" Thing so that fuyuhiko whould have escaped this killing game.

@@dylanotto949 Well, Peko tried to blame Fuyuhiko AFTER they've voted who the blackened was. Meaning if Monokuma agreed to that + Fuyuhiko, he would've survived and everyone else would've died. But neither agreed, Monokuma cuz he's Monokuma, and Fuyuhiko because he did not want to survive a killing game like that. He wanted to survive on his own
@@devenyvb3990 lol nope, you're very wrong. That whole "i am a tool" shtick was just an entertainment for Monokuma and it will not affect his judgement. Peko will always be the killer, even if Fuyuhiko claims that he just used Peko as a "tool." Monokuma knows that the "i am a tool" roleplay was will not work, Peko herself even admitted that even if she did that, Fuyuhiko will not follow through, Nagito also saw through that. So Monokuma knows that Peko did it with her own will to protect her master.

I don't think Rantaro's death could have been prevented due to the time limit which means either what happened or everybody died, Kaede's however could have been avoided if they hadn't let the monokubs take the pictures in the library away (given that nobody used the first blood perk)
But overall I agree with most of the rest, and it's really interesting to share opinion with you ^^
See, the interesting thing is I’m pretty sure it was a bluff. The time limit might actually be one of the best motives in all Danganronpa and I’m about to explain why I think so.
At the end of V3, Shirogane tells us that everyone auditioned for the killing game. The specific wording of the time limit says “everyone FORCED to play the killing game” will die if no killing occurs by the end of the time limit.
So… if no one was forced to play the game, then no one would die. It’s still possible, depending on Amami’s situation, that he might have died, but it’s also possible that the motive was twofold: the less interesting part, kill within two days, and the more interesting part, everyone here is the type of the person who’d be willing to play a death game.

Sayaka was already planning to murder. Makoto traded keys with her *after* the nighttime announcement, which means she must have had the knife on her already, since the kitchen would have been off-limits.
Kirigiri couldn't keep the laptop with her, because the mastermind would notice. WE know the mastermind knew the entire time anyway, but Kirigiri didn't.
Mahiru wouldn't talk with Hiyoko face-to-face about the time change because the letters state "Let's try not to see each other for a while."
Searching for the bombs and searching for Nagito are basically the same thing: splitting up and searching everywhere you can on the islands. This one should have been "Fuyuhiko checking the warehouse first instead of the Monokuma Factory first."
This video could have just been 2:42 and 8:20 put together. Or perhaps just, "Junko not being born/not being an insane person." 'Cause all of these deaths are because of her, including The Killing School Semester.
Sayaka still wouldn't have had the opportunity to kill had they not switched rooms, because she'd never have gotten away with it and therefore wouldn't kill.
Then Kyoko could have told alter ego to yell if anyone but her tried to move it, and taken shifts for watching out with Makoto. Alternatively Hifumi could've used his brain and realised the Ultimate Moral Compass wasn't going to assault another student.
Mahiru and Hiyoko could've talked at breakfast, when nobody would be suspicious of them being together. Also that letter was pretty suspicious anyway, since Hiyoko and Mahiru were together a lot so them suddenly not being around each other would arouse more suspicion.
Maybe they meant finding Nagito when he was setting up his murder disguised as a suicide disguised as a murder? That was my understanding anyway
It’s possible that Fuyuhiko tried to check the warehouse first but assumed it was locked because of the monokuma panel blocking the door. Nagito was too thorough for his plan to be ruined so easily. An alternative is that if he never saw the future foundation file in the octagon and found out they were all ultimate despair, he wouldn’t have wanted to kill everyone except for the traitor who wasn’t despair. Like if he had played the Russian roulette normally he wouldn’t have gotten that file

Yeah, she literally switched rooms with Makoto because she was planning to kill Leon, like it was already apart of her plan
She had no plans anymore in that case tho, so no, Sayaka wouldn't do that, she wouldn't have an alibi, so that wouldn't be a smart move and she probably knows that in that case, it would be too obvious it was her.
@@Rocky-brilliant I think they meant more on the “op isn’t entirely correct because their argument is that because she switched with Naegi, she then developed the plan” instead of what actually happened.
Sayaka's plan would have been ruined, but she most certainly would have tried something else. She was hit hard by that Motive. Her making a move was an inevitability.
I remember when a lot of Kokichi stans blamed Maki for Kokichi's death but it was Tsumugi's fault for creating the Hope's Peak flashback lights that instigated Maki and even Kokichi acknowledged that himself.
Plus I'm pretty sure Kokichi settled down with his plan anyway once he noticed how bad Kaito's condition was probably getting. Like he knew he was sick in ch4 probably after Kaito chased him around and in ch5 as he held him hostage he probably could have saw him coughing up blood in the toilet or sink as he was bringing him food or something. Plus, he wrote that book for him, which probably took some time, so he knew he wasn't gonna make it out. And he wanted to use Kaito for it before he died a "meaningless death" so I didn't think Maki was essentially the one who tied the noose around Kokichi's throat.
Was it even more convenient for Kokichi to convince Kaito to kill him? Sure. But even Kaito acknowledged that that wasn't the only reason why he agreed to the plan.
I no longer see those Kokichi stans anymore saying how much they HATE Maki (a lot of stans like both characters) but that always bugged me when they said that while being fine with Kokichi doing what he did to Gonta and excusing it.

IKR like chapter 5 definitely wasn’t Maki’s finest moment, but I mean if it wasn’t for her breaking in Kaito probably never would’ve agreed to Kokichi’s plan. It even makes total sense WHY she broke in to kill Kokichi too! The only thing I don’t understand is why she decided to kill everybody else to kill Kokichi? She said it was to avenge Kaito, but like sis?! Imagine being Kaito sitting up in that exisal and then hearing the girl you spent literal days believing in and trying to help, and who you helped convince the entire group to give her a chance, just flat out admit to wanting to kill everybody else. That must’ve sucked. So overall Maki is a very overhated character that I love but there is somethings that definitely drag her character down for me.
@@itsallfictional5119 You have to understand her emotions and state of mind to see why she did the things she did. She loved Kaito and hated Kokichi with her guts. So, for Kokichi to do something Kaito. It was personal for her and made her want to kill him, even if it meant sacrificing everyone else to do that. That's how much she hated him. Of course, it's not the best reason, but it makes it a lot easier to understand why she tried to kill Kokichi. And as far as Danganronpa murder motives go, it's pretty good.
At that point I wonder how a room with a few Kokichi stans and in the same room some other folks have different favorites and all the stans told them they like because lies and jokes and stuff
The pattern is the 1st chapter the execution starts with taking someone by the neck, 2nd is hitting the victim on the head, 3rd is two deaths, 4th is the big buff ones always die, and 5th is there is a plan involved/ the most important or hardest one to figure out
And the 3rd chapter, besides the double murders, it also has the less 'sympathetic' murderers in terms of motive, to the point their classmates hardly complain about the culprit's execution.
Celeste incited Hifumi to murder Kiyotaka and then murdered him just out of greed (get out of Hope's peak and buy a castle with Monokuma's 10M dollars, even if she didn't know the post-apocalyptic state of the world would have probably made that money worthless)
Mikan murdered Ibuki & Hiyoko cuz Monokuma infected her with the Despair disease making her to return to her brainwashed Remnant of Despair persona.
Korekiyo was a serial killer obsessed with murdering 'worthy' women to send for her sister in the afterlife.
Other patterns are:
*Chapter 1: The person closest to the protag at that moment attempts murder but fails*
THH: Sayaka tried to kill Leon, Leon killed her instead
GD: Nagito tried to kill Hajime, Imposter and Teruteru tried to stop him and Teruteru ends up killing Imposter accidently
KH: Kaede tries to kill mastermind (Tsumugi) but Rantaro got lured instead and Tsumugi killed him since Kaede's attack failed
*Chapter 2: Reveal of an assassin in the cast*
THH: Introduction to Genocide Jill
GD: Peko gets revealed to be an hitwoman to the Kuzuryu clan
KH: Maki gets revealed as the ultimate assassin
*Chapter 3: Most cruel murders and/or motives*
THH: Motive is greed and murder includes manipulation
GD: Motive is to get killed by her beloved, Junko
KH: Monokuma's motive is basically a ritual that kills the people in the room where it takes place due to chemicals when the book is burnt, and Kiyo's motive is to kill 100 girls for his non-existant sister. And the murder happened in front of their eyes, in the dark
*Chapter 4: Blunt trauma/hit on the head is faked to be the cause of death*
THH: hiro and Jill thought they killed Sakura by hitting her head with Monokuma bottles (Actual cause of death: Poison)
GD: Gundham put the hammer as distraction (Actual cause of death: Falling)
KH: Miu was thinking of using it as a weapon but got sayaka'd with toilet paper, and her hammer got beside her body when it slid to the other side (Actual cause of death: Strangulation)
*Chapter 5: Protag's partner gets executed*
THH: Kyoko gets executed in the bad ending
GD: Chiaki killed Nagito, therefore got executed
KH: Kaito killed Kokichi, therefore got executed

If Rantaro was more observant with his surroundings he could have seen Tsumugi and possibly picked up Kaede’s shot from the ground and threw it as Tsumugi and ended the game right then and there-
Kaede's death could have been prevented if she didn't thrown down the shot putt ball. Or if shuichi caught her on time

kaito's death was probably sped up a bit. if kokichi hadnt grabbed him with the exisal and if maki hadnt shot him with the poisoned arrow, he probably wouldnt have died for a little while longer (he would still die, but the same could be said for any of the characters)
If kaito hadn't agreed to kokichi's plan, Maki would have been the blacked, plus kaito would have died either way, so if kaito hadn't agreed to kokichi's plan, then three people would have died, rather than just two, so I see why kaito agreed. Ch. 5 broke me btw

As the mf who wrote that in the discord server, I actually meant that, since Nekomaru intervened in the execution, it was almost impossible for Monokuma to save him, which is why he got turned into Mechamaru, yeah. Buuut since Mechamaru had the sleep button on his back, instead of fighting him to the death right there, I just had to press the button. It's not like it made it easy, but it indeed granted me the victory and made possible my plan. [The plan wouldn't have worked since, had he not turned into Mechamaru, I'd have had to kill him first to continue with the plan, and he wouldn't have been able to wake up and move if he was already dead.] It would've also prevented my own death in the program, or at the very least my execution, since Nekomaru was the only one who hadn't given up his life yet, which made him the only one willing to fight me to the death to save everyone else.

I see it as possible that Hina, who is also a pretty strong athlete, could drag Sakura along to the infirmary as personally I don’t think Sakura would resist Hina of all people just to stay there. Doing so would just make her behavior all the more suspicious, especially to someone who knows her so well like Hina. I’d think Sakura would opt to just attempt her plan later but by the time Hina takes her to the infirmary her resolve might change. Those are my thoughts at least, it’s all hypothetical anyway.

Kirumi wasn't framing Himiko but rather falsify an alibi. Ryoma was put in the gym to make it look like the murder happen around 8-10pm. That's why she was with Kokichi at 9pm. Her biggest mistake was mentioning she was at the gym for 5 minutes as that's was casted suspicion on her.
Kokichi and kaito’s death was caused directly by kokichis lie as well as maki’s killing tenacity. It just proves to show in Danganronpa that your biggest mistake is to fall into the hands of the killing game.

Leon could have run from the room and screamed help at the top of his lungs and declared Sayaka was trying to kill him. Or just him not going back to the room after he had a chance to get away.

There are some things to add when it came to the reasons.
Sayaka had planned Leon’s murder before she went to Makoto, switching rooms was always part of the plan and didn’t result in killer instinct happening. Also it was because of the motive video she had that caused her to snap and form the plan. So it was more of she shouldn’t have watched the video, Makoto not agreeing to the room swap, or Sayaka picking a target that wasn’t a professional athlete
For Mukuro it was not agreeing to Junko’s plan. She was told (If DR IF is any indication) that she was going to attack Monokuma and be imprisoned so she could help behind the scenes only for Junko to actually betray her in the end.
It didn’t actually matter if you told Chihiro to go to Mondo in the FTE, Chihiro goes to Mondo cause of his declaration of “a man’s promise” which would meant chihiro could tell his secret and Mondo would have kept it.
It was impossible for Kirigiri to take the Alter Ego because of the cameras everywhere. AE was set up in the bathhouse because there were no cameras, since steam would have fogged the lense. I guess a better prevention would have been stopping Hifumi from ‘bonding’ with Alter Ego since he had a lack of video games and he treated the AI like a dating sim, forming an unhealthy obsession.
For Kiyo, it wasn’t really confessing to Tenko’s murder but just going through with a second murder after Angie that screwed him over. There was little to no evidence for Angie and it was Tenko’s death the gave reason to look under the floor and finding Angie’s blood. The executions would have killed the other girls that would give his sister ‘friends’.
It wasn’t so much that Gonta agreed to Kokichi’s plan that sealed his fate, it was watching the flashback light. After finding out how the outside world was, he became broken and fell to despair, making him desire a mercy kill for the others.
Same can be said for Kaito and Kokichi as if Maki never saw the flashback light, she never would have taken matters into her hands. (Angie really had a point there in chapter 3). Also Kaito agreed to kokichi’s plan because he didn’t want maki to become the blackened and risk getting executed as well as not wanting Maki to kill again after her desire to change. He also stepped out of the exisal because he didnt want the other’s executed since the goal was creating an unsolvable murder that would ruin the game.
Junko could have lived either way, she chose to keep her word, and chose a date of despair. Whether she won or lost, she was winning in the end, in her own way of it

With kokichi’s plan, even monokuma was confused, so if Kaito didn’t reveal himself and Shuichi didn’t basically tell him he couldn’t hold an execution for a murder where he didn’t even know who was the victim. kokichi’s plan would have worked in breaking the whole game if they had just went along with it, and everyone could have survived
Aoi treating her is only temporarily preventing Sakura dyeing, Sakura's guilt would still be there she would just go back to the game room at night and have everything happen later. The only to solution for Sakura is being tied down but that's making her a murder target so just have Aoi never leave her side,
How to prevent every characters death: Give Junko a therapist.
Sayaka- she was still going to kill either way she only chickened out at the last minute so really the only way would be for Leon to just not come back to finish her off
Junko/Mukuro- her sister not turning on her as her attacking monokuma was part of their plan she just wasn't meant to be killed for it
Leon- just go back to your room or let everyone know what Sayaka did instead of killing her back. but at this point it unlikely they don't know about the class trial at this point so it's a suprise it even was covered up as much as it was.
Chihiro- training with Mondo earlier or just not doing so is really the only way Mondo unlike the other killer didn't even plan his killing ( Leon did as he had to plan to break in and kill Sayaka after she backed off and hid)
Mondo- as with the last one just not lose his temper at that time or agree to Taka share plan
Ishimaru- not getting attached to Alter Ego as new Mondo
Hifimu- not trusting Celeste
Celeste- she made to many mistakes in her case to win so only not falling for the motive or being given a chance to kill would work
Sakura- not being the mole or show to be the mole ( if she became the mole monokuma would reveal that at some point so this is unlikely) would also work other then that her meeting with the others going well or Aoi not leaving her alone are the only way's
Junko- her little fake murder for case 5 not backfiring or just her not breaking her rules to make a fake murder
Teruteru- yip just not planning to kill Nagito by sharing Nagito intent with either fake Togami or the group
fake Togami- not climing under the table to get the knife of Nagito
Maihiru- yeah checking with Hiyoko or if Peko didn't but in would save her
Peko- not butting in to kill Maihiru for her master ( he wasn't planning to kill her anyway)
Ibuki- yeah it very unlikely for her to live they likely need someone else not sick to join the group looking after the sick people as everyone who was doing so had got sick which is why Hajime wasn't their to stop the killing in the first place
Hiyoko- just knowing how to tie her kimono or Sonia doing it for her is really the only way
Mikan- yeah she unlikely to live even without the camra angle thing their too much pointing at her they just be less sure

Tojo- the insect meet and greet being a success or being able to remove the evidense from Ryoma lab and the pool is really the only way's

How the hell was Mondo a psycopath?!? Mondo does seem to have anger issues but he has a moral code which a psychopath WOULDN'T HAVE. It was due to Chihiro not knowing that what he said would cause Mondo to think Chihiro is stronger. It was past trauma that he kept secret being revealed along with what Chihiro said to cause Mondo to go into a blind rage which caused him to kill Chihiro in the heat of the moment when he wasn't thinking straight. It was bottled up emotions being unleashed in one of the worst circumstances for him that led to Chihiro's death.
I think Junko would have found any opportunity to kill Mukuro for her own despair anyway

I slightly agree for Chihiro's prevention on a basic level, Chihiro was searching for a strong and fierce man who could help him become stronger, Mondo fits these terms, also, Chihiro would ramble about the "getting stronger" stuff, since Chihiro was eventually gonna ask Mondo to train with, also nothing was stopping Chihiro from asking Mondo, I'm pretty sure that Chihiro told Mondo his secret before the murder training. If not then I apologize, but that is only gonna make it a higher chance for Chihiro to train with Mondo. I agree that the motives were a big thing about this trial, but Mondo knew what he had done, he killed his brother. And I doubt he was angry everyone would find out. But was jealous that Chihiro was very determined and had inner strength as well as an amazing life. And now that I think about it, Mondo definitely knew Chihiro was a boy before the murder, As Mondo's brother made him never force or harass a girl. So he definitely knew what he was doing. Even with the rage. It is still possible for him to not attack chihiro, since while transporting the body, he could've found out then. But I'm not sure. That's my summary for Mondo.

See the problem with that is she could have been talking about all of the deaths leading up to chapter 3 /trial 3. And also I think saying she's not Japanese wouldn't have given it away . The rage fit she went into was because it all wasn't going in her favor anymore due to how her "partner" causes alot of complications in that trial. Honestly for me if she was to survive. Tenko’s death could’ve been easily prevented if everyone realised how dangerous and stupid it is to perform a séance after 5 deaths, especially since Angie has just died recently so the killer was still alive, even if the séance was supposed to allow everyone to talk to Angie after she passed, I feel like performing a séance in the dark was a red flag in of itself, not to mention Korekiyo was singing the entire time wasn’t he? So if he was moving around the room, wouldn’t anyone notice his voice getting louder and quieter (almost as if he was walking around) as he got to the centre of the room?
