Nice. People need to now that Camaro ZL1 is basically a track car so on a roll it’s definitely quicker than the Trackhawk but on a dig that Trackhawk is a beast and hard to beat with any car.
I personally prefer the trackhawk to the zl1. I actually sold the zl1 2 months ago and am modding the trackhawk as we speak (hopefully ready tomorrow). I’m replacing the zl1 with either another C7Z or a new used gt500.

@@camirocz 691 on a stingy mustang dyno in crappy Houston da on a very conservative 93 tune. I’m thinking it’s north of that number but that’s what the dyno read. I typically do Mexico rolls and only tracked it once. It ran an 11.3 twice but tbh I suck at the track as I’m more use to rolls. It did not like the launch at 2500 rpms in track mode, it stalled (burped/slipped) 2nd gear both times which killed my 1/4 mile run along with my crappy track driver mod. I’m having the blower ported now and getting better rubber and might have a go again at the track later.
I want a ZL1 soooo bad! That was actually good run from a dig. The A10 would have did better but still woulda got smashed out the hole by that AWD trackhawk.
Yes the A10 zl1 is definitely faster from both a roll and especially a dig. I totally regret buying the Zl1 in manual truth be told (and knew better) but could not pass up the deal on it. The bog from 1st gear is beyond irritating and they all (manuals) have it unless you tune it out.

Mario Avila I just picked up a manual zl1 and yea it does bog. Idk why but it seems like 1st gear is neutered a lot and then 2nd gear and on is fully powered and pulls harder. It is very frustrating. Seems like first gear the car makes 450hp and then after u shift it unlocks the full 650 lol the only way to get rid of that is to tune it out?

No sir I’m actually a very clean eater as I do competitions (physique) so too much Popeyes would have me above my 9% body fat. As for my shifting I feel I hold my own fairly well. Btw it doesn’t matter if I was trying hard or not it was for fun and both cars (the Zl1 and the trackhawk) are mine so it’s a win for me either way 🤷🏻♂️, so is my 700+ rwhp C7Z06 (all on my channel). Very true, the 6 gen Zl1’s suck in manual tbh. The A10 is much better and faster. I sold it after only 4 months due to the bog on launching. All of the manual 6 gen zl1’s have it.
At the time they were both bone stock, Trackhawk killed it off the line til aerodynamics caught up. I sold the Zl1 and got a C7 Z06 and modded the trackhawk. As of now trackhawk would destroy a Zl1 or Z06 in any roll depending on how modded they are.
@@camirocz I’ve ran several Zl1’s (stock) and f10 M5’s (some modded) and absolutely destroy them from a roll. Mine has basic bolt on’s pulley injectors and a tune (the Trackhawk). I’m not being “that guy” but trust me it’s not close unless the Zl1 is modded.
Negative sir wasn’t napping at all, on all 6th gen Zl1’s (stock manuals) they bog at a dig no matter what. It can be tuned out but at the time my Zl1 was bone stock. It’s extremely annoying and a issue with all manual 6 gen zl1’s, my previous 2017 manual ss did not do this.

Actually the Zl1 is one of the best cars in its class for the money. I’m fortunate enough to be able to enjoy both the Zl1 and my trackhawk. I sold the Zl1 and replaced it with a C7Z but it was certainly not junk in my opinion. I guess I just like junk then bc this is my 4th 600+hp gm car that never disappoints.

I have a 2014 audi a7 stage 2 awd and at a dig I smoke my buddies 2018 zL1 everytime...but at a role he gets me everytime
I own a 2018 Trackhawk. Off the line I can take just about anyone, not good for for racing on a roll. Too heavy.
