Someone on the Official PvE: The Island server I play on was going to scout a SE server to put a base on. Due to the cryo nerf, he had to place a small temp base with bed then port back over to get the fridge, wind gen, and cryoed flyer(he was having that glitch where dino couldn't be directly uploaded due to big timer). When he transferred back, it ignored his bed and random spawned him. The spawn location: Under another player's base! Lost it all since he couldn't retrieve it. This update will finally get rid of that problem!
they need to limit the area people can build on in pve. including a radius around spawn points. people are still building castle like structures and imagine 70+ people building at least anything bigger than 20x20 bases. pvp i think caves should just not be built in.
I'm all for the change in PvE. The nerf should've never been applied to PvE anyway. The only downside I see is that they took away some of the value of the Pyro and Dread since both have built in mechanics to bypass the cryo nerf.
Old cryos increase meshers success so I disagree majorly. I have 4k turrets in my base and all it takes is was scummy mesher with old crypids to enter again. The new 1 are far better. If old style not near enemy structures with in reason I'd fine with it
@@bryceodonnell5509 thats not a cryopod issue thats a collision detection and rendering problem, your dislike for cryos is unjust as you would soon complain if they removed them entirely, as we all would, besides those rat hole bases suck and so many people would exploit you because of that, stop doing it and build a proper base, i did and now dont have exploiters taking advantage.

Thats good the cryo pod is changing back to the ASE style whete you dont need a gen and cryo fridhe just deploy creatures. Its going to help reduce lag on servers to. I love the dino drpot and its benefits.
I always thought it sucked we didn't get all the blue prints right away. No egg incubator was a shame. 😅 I mainly play Single Player, so I know there are bigger issues.

Fck no bro, main caves are nerfed as shit. it would be too op to just pop a turtle in most caves. if theyre gonna restore the cryopods, bring the old cave choke points back.
u can pop a dino almost anywhere its BS even on PVE. Bobs will be running the caves in over sized dinos now, blocking other players while they are there. DInos getting stuck in chockepoints and left there, popping dinos under the mesh, the list goes on.
TBH, Old cryos was the best, Playing Small Tribes since first deploy on ASE and since Alpha of ASE i have spent more than 35K Hours on PVP official in this game. The Cryo Ajustment is not enough. As a example ppl can defend a Pack Cave with throwing Stegos all the time to block choke so many Frustrating things. With cryochange it will make things so much more fun. Yes ppl will be easier to wipe but now some of them are unwipable online :) Thats my Part
Pvp needs pvp type restrictions like the pods that gives pvpers a fare chance it is good they reverting to ase for pve and most PvP players cry about it.. I'd say get over it and if you don't want your hard work to be taken/destroyed over night then go to pve and experience the wonders I was a hardcore pvper until I was raided I re re raided got most of my dinos and thing's back only to be raided again from a different tribe then left and came to pve on ase and before official servers got stolen from us I had a shop with all top stats and any color anyone wanted
I play on Xbox ASA single player, but single players been broken since they released it. The options and behavior doesn’t work on Xbox series X Xbox series S I did a bug report on their page but nothings happening yet. When can they fix the behavior option on Xbox single player?
I play on the same had some crashes, light flickers, creatures falling through the floor but behaviours work fine, has it been like that since you started ASA?
i play asa on single player on x box series x i don't have those problems. asa actually works fine on my x box series x. unreal engine 5 is still quite new, so we just have to give them some time and the game will probably be good in the end.
Will the PvP rules apply in singleplayer? I use PvP for breeding reasons, but it would be silly if I had to constantly switch between PvP and PvE each time… anyone have any guesses/insight?

When are they fixing crashes on Aberration for Playstation, it's getting so bad that its unplayable on that map, other maps dont have that issue, and also why cant Playstation players not see the supply drop beams on the surface anymore! Was working before. Been logging bugs forever and Wilcard has not even looked at them!

I encountered a strange bug today. I hatched a baby Theri and there was no imprint bar. I was so confused. When it came time to care for it. It just said it wanted care from me. Luckily I found a admin command to fix it. Has anyone else had this happen??
For solo PvP players this is the death of Ark. I feel totally scammed owned this game a year without playing it and now we aren't getting cryo''s back on PvP.

@jumpylumpy1797 roof rat hole, full box a blimp n tunnel in, crouch rathole have all your homies with capped flak n shields n go for it with beer popped. Fuckin shield soak the ones pointed through the hole if need he. Nothing is unraidable.

Shits oversaturated, sky is waaaaaaay to bright, shadows way too dark, weird fuzzy tracer outline thing around my character even if i play with the AA. Its just unplayable for me. Not to mention the frames are usually shit. AM I CRAZY?!?!?!

The reason the cryo pods were changed so their paid dlc creatures were more enticing and fairly mandatory to buy especially on pvp. Watch out for other changes on their new maps bet there will be a new paid dlc that will have the same thing
This is nice update, but honestly I want them to fix the anti meshing it's gotten too harsh I have lost great gear and dinos because I accidentally flew into a rock and my bags didn't spawn

I noticed this as well. What seems to work to avoid this is to create a tribe and the beds suddenly works for me.

this is just an issue on official. Doesn't exist on unofficial(where real players actually play the game)

cryopods are a toggle in the settings. if you have your own server you can adjust them your self you don't need official settings.

Nothing is unraidable. We have wiped every rat hole off our center.
