  • Well, when it comes to food plot preparation there are a lot of "Do's and Dont's" that are floating around out there. But the only way to know for sure is for someone like me, who has the time and equipment, to experiment with different projects, just like this one to find out the 'truths' of the matter to see what will work and what won't when it comes to deer food plots, wildlife management projects, wildlife conservation projects, and importantly food plot preparation. In today's episode, join me for yet another real life land management experiment as I try to cheat the entire soil preparation process in order to take a 4 foot high overgrown field and turn it in to a decent soil bed for a fall food plot in just a matter of hours, and with NO chemicals! Stay tuned to our channel for future updates to see how this experiment worked out! (Or maybe it won't work out??) I am always challenging 'modern thinking' and 'processes' to learn more about managing property for wildlife management and conservation improvement, and some of my projects are huge success' and some are failures. But what a fun way to to learn! Stay tuned to Kapper Outdoors to see if this 'sod skimming' scheme will work in our favor or not for an 'instant food plot' soil bed!
