I've always lived in an area with a large Muslim minority and in general they're lovely people to be in community with. Humble, kind, always offering you a meal and willing to answer questions about their faith, while not aggressively forcing it on others either. Salam alaykum to my Muslim friends & thanks for the video!

'Prophet' Muhammad was a mass murdering, thieving warlord, who took women & children as slaves & sex slaves, and violently robbed innocent merchant caravans... Google 'list of killings ordered or supported by Muhammad'.
Of the roughly 31 active wars globally in 2023, about 71% of these are directly involving Muslim countries and/or Islamist groups, while 19.3% are at least partly involving Muslim countries and/or Islamist groups... Google 'countries currently at war 2023'.
Islam is the only major religion that publicly puts out international decrees for murder to other Muslims (through 'Fatwas'), often with monetary rewards, on people who speak out against the religion... Google Charlie Hebdo (R.I.P.), and Salman Rushdie for two examples.

Thank you for representing my religion well. This is a good simple summary of Islam. I add only this: There is a strong emphasis on being humble and kind to others, as well as a strong family responsibility, as we believe each individual will be held to account for their actions before Allah.

There is an obvious problem with Islam's beliefs - if Muslims believe that God created everything and everyone, how do Muslims reconcile that a huge amount of people don't believe this religion?

@@HelloJamesBond I am a Muslim and I will answer your question.
Allah created these people to be tested, and in my belief, those who deny Allah will go to hell.
So we have no right to interfere with people of other religions.
even this counts as a right!
We have no need to interfere with them, as they will suffer torment on the other side anyway.
I hope you got the answer to your question.

I thought Islam was a religion of peace and compassion, this premise seems to say ‘you must believe or you will go to hell’ Have you ever thought about that in detail? I respect people’s beliefs but wow, the humanity is completely absent here.

I disagree with all organized religion, but not with the people that believe. Anything that teaches love, kindness, and understanding is good, but it can all be radicalized so easily. I love learning about peoples beliefs but it always saddens me to see how much we are holding ourselves back believing in these origin stories, instead of just being kind and living life to its fullest.

[11] And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: [12] That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
Islam is full of lies (Psalm 120) even as Allah is the father of all lies from my bible, and even from Quran, Allah is satan:
8 Can one whose evil deeds seem attractive and
virtuous to him (be compared to a truly righteous
person)? God guides or causes to go astray
whomever He wants. (Muhammad), do not be
grieved because of their disbelief. God knows we

Absolutely but more importantly right. Thank you, you are doing a great service to mankind by putting videos like this up. What’s sad is most Americans have been spoon fed utter lies about the Muslim faith. When I try to explain it to people they go on and on about what they have heard, be it on the mainstream media, from the Government or at their church. I always ask if they have ever actually read the Quran they always say no. I point out that they should but they won’t. They will just keep on spouting out lies and the fiction that’s been fed to them.

    - Family is seen as the most important building block of a healthy and prosperous community
    - It has strong emphasis on peace, kindness and education
Quran almost comes as a practical guide as to how to live a prosperous life.

I am an atheist who bases his perception off of science and proof, and I basically always have. My parents were churchgoers for quite some time but stopped when I was young, so there was a short period where God played some role in my life, but I stopped believing it quickly.
However, even as someone with exactly zero spiritual or religious beliefs, I still want to respect and understand other peoples’ perspectives, so I figured it would be good for me to understand followers of Islam a bit better. Thank you for the video

Hello, first of all, we have a mind. We do not live like animals to follow our desires only. Do you know what you face after death? Torment or bliss. Have you not noticed the regularity of our lives, day and night? We worship one God. We do not see it because we are not prepared, but we feel it with our souls and hearts. We all know that there is an external force that manages this life for us. Note that Islam is not a religion of fanaticism. Rather, it imposes things on you to protect you, such as wine, alcohol, and drugs, which are forbidden because they cause them to lose the mind. Pig is forbidden because it is rotten meat, created to clean the earth of waste, and women to protect them from men, because everything in a woman attracts a man, so he ordered her to cover in order to protect her.

Oh, also, everyone does not feel that there is some external force guiding their life. I am an atheist. I do not feel that.

Hey, love your vids about religion 🙂
I want to comment one thing about fasting. The way it’s explained is as if muslim do that as a “celebration” for the revealing of Qur’an. However, it’s actually more about “Because Allah commands it (Q.S. 2:183), and it just happen that he wants us to fast during the month of Ramadan (Q.S. 2:185)”

    • @yousefmahamid1253
      @yousefmahamid1253 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

We fast Ramadan to feel for the poor who do not have food and drink, and Ramadan is a month of worship in which the Qur’an was revealed, which is the word of God that brought down the admonition of Muhammad.

This is how our peaceful religion is sometimes take as negatively as the religion of violence. Your videos are great came here from watching video on Catholicism. You do realize that Isis was just going by the hadith and suna An Qur'an. Muhammad was a extremist which they follow. So how are they called not Muslim when they obey their Prophet. Their Mercy for all mankind. Do you really believe that Jesus Christ the only sinless person would agree of Prophet Muhammad's teachings and actions? An heaven is full of virgins the houris. Sounds like a horrible sexual brothel. How's the Qur'an for all mankind when 70% of it is about the Prophet Muhammad?

I have some things to add.
As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I know what it's like to see people have a bias against your religion. I found myself developing a bias against Muslims, and Jesus taught for us to treat others as we would want to be treated (for me, that means being kind and respectful to everyone), and to love one another.
I didn't want to keep this unwarranted bias against Muslims, so I downloaded a free app so I could read a bit of the Qu'ran to better understand Muslims.
One thing I found is it's mentioned that Jews and Christians will have their own reward with God (but, of course, Muslims are mentioned as having the highest reward).
I found it was interesting that it listed the other two Abrahamic religions as good, and not particularly among the "unbelievers".

Apart from minor irrelevant details like “Ramadan being the month of revelation of Quran” when it’s actually the month when Quran was first revealed because the book was revealed over years, this video is spot on. You have done your research very well and informed a lot hopefully. You have gained my trust as a Muslim.

    1) The leader after the martyrdom of prophet Muhammad is a core religious issue not a political one even if it did have its political repercussions, and it's call Imamat.
Notice I said martyrdom not death, because that's another core religious issue that seperates thr shias from the sunnis.
    2) the twelver shias constitute the majority of the shia denomination, they're not just some of the shias.
    3) the 12 th imam is the one that haven't showed himself yet not the 13th, because they are only 12 not 13

Our God is one God. He loves us all. He forgive us all. He is all knowing and knows of our faults and weaknesses. The name is of no importance. The everlasting is all that matters. Hate and war is the goal of the devil or Satan. He has lost it all so he strives to cause as much pain as he can before he is cast out. I love all humans. I love them because it is a holy thing to do. No matter the religion, love is the most powerful force in the universe. It is our salvation. We love or we fail to love. It does not condemn us, but it hurts us if we fail as we live on this Earth. We must love each other and converse with each other to spread that message. The Teachings of Islam talk of this as does the Christian faith as well. It is universal. We are our own worst enemy because we think we are separate but we are one. That is the saving grace that we must embrace if God is to bless us all. The world can be beautiful once we see the real enemy. Money and its influence on the world stage. Powers that hide yet control it all. They use us as pawns to play their game. To move the chess pieces as they wish while we bear the brunt of their evil agenda. The real enemy is hidden in shadows while the blame goes to the meek who fall under their influence. All the wars of the past are but play time for the truly rich and evil elites. They invest in our suffering and come out stronger than before as we fall and bleed in a conflict that they created for their own benefit. This must be understood by all in the world or else it will never end.

    1. The 3rd pillar of Islam is Fasting in Ramadan.
    2. Mary(A) is not the most important woman, she is one of the most important.
    3. Any pious Muslim with deep Islamic knowledge can become Imam .
    4. We believe that Jesus(A) will return but not as a prophet. He will land on the earth as a follower( Ummat) of Prophet Muhammad(S) .
    5. The caliph will never hurt someone or something innocent. He is to be the most pious Muslim and a great leader.
    6. What you said about Jihad was correct. It means to fight one's evil. Not to spread terrorism. By misrepresentation of the holy Quran, some people are doing so.
    7. We do not face the Mecca when we prayer . We face at the Qa'ba , which is situated in Mecca. We can pray individually and Allah says "I am near you💖💖💖💖"

As a Catholic I’d like to correct something because I know we can misinterpreted certain religions. First I wanna say I’m not offended lol it’s normal but I do want to say that Catholics don’t think a priest is our connection to God. We see them as spiritual guides and we have utmost respect due to the sacrifices they have made for God so we do believe they have a unique journey as opposed to someone who is more “worldly”. We have this honor like one would have for a monk, not exactly the same obviously but just to put it into perspective. We believe we have straight connection to God, just want to clarify that. ❤️🙏🏼

such an amazing video but a couple of things first prophet Mohamed peace be upon him wasn't born into poverty he was borm into a noble house hashim from quraish the second is fasting as it is not a celebration rather a way to humble the soul and lastly the concept of hijab is to cover all of the body except the face and hands and that stems to the idea of protecting the women from the eyes of lustful men niqab is an extension of the concept and is not required but preferred
i think you forgot also that islam comes from the word salam which means peace and the greeting in islam is elsalamo a'leekom which literally translates to peace upon you
