@@rj-hg1kq i was so confused at that part because nothing was an indicator of a man beatboxing. it wasn't particularly deep or anything but even if there had been a thick bass, it wouldn't have changed the credibility because a lot of female beatboxers can go pretty low. and i'm actually curious about how much hannah knows about beatboxing because i sort of assumed that she's an expert in singing, not beatboxing. she simply said "yeah, that's a man" without actually giving a reason as to why she thinks that.
9:10 fun fact they wanted her to play love interest with him but she was hell bent on making Bechloe happen so it was kinda like a 'if we can't have Bechloe then you can't have me and turtle man' type thing and that's why the script feels like it should be leading them somewhere but Anna's acting/improv choices is taking them somewhere completely different, I will say it creates a really interesting dynamic though 😂
The cast's very very public support for Bechloe (especially Anna) will continue to be one of my most favourite things about Pitch Perfect. The beatboxing was absolutely done by the actress. She worked with professionals to learn the skills and said in an interview that she was going to do it all herself, even if it meant just doing sections of the beat at a time and have them be overlayed together. She worked her ass off to provide that beat and it kinda sucks that you just claim it was someone else without fact checking.
I remember that they did intend to make the dude Anna's love interest but Anna refused it cause she felt it did not fit her character and i can see why. She also tried to make Beca x Chloe happen and jumped in to kiss Brittany Snow at the ending scene but obviously they didnt go that road, which is unfortunate. Beca x Chloe was the first time i ever thought like "hey these give off some love interest vibess" and so i learned what shipping means.

This was my favorite among the whole trilogy. What makes the Freedom 90 so cathartic is that it's the very last sequence the Bellas filmed together as a group before they wrapped. So you can tell that the emotions they felt here was raw. I still get emotional whenever I watch just that scene.

It’s basically about a girl who can’t sing in real life due to trauma but manages to become an overnight star in a virtual reality. Both the Japanese and English singers sound nearly identical, the only difference being that the English singer is only 19 years old and yet her talent is insane!
this series realized it was devolving into semi-lovable chaos and fully embraced it for the last movie. this is honestly the best ending I can imagine after the second movie

I discovered Hailee Steinfeld with Arcane as Vi's voice actress and I kinda fell in love because she fits so well with this character. Then I realised she was in Pitch Perfect and I was like tf ?? You may find me a bit stupid but as a french native I saw Pitch's movies in french versions first and now I can just be amazed by Hailee's voice. She's so powerful omg

@@matthewrandell5055 One of my favorite things about how this film ends, which resonates which me more upon each rewatch, is that when they perform Freedom 90s at the end, they were not performing for the audience, but just singing for each other. Also, the curtain drop to reveal the instruments symbolizes they've outgrown from being labeled as just "Bellas the Acappella group" to something much more than that, and they've accepted it (since the whole film is really about them not knowing what to do with life and wanting to return to their good old college acapella days. All of them got a kind of bittersweet conclusion too when they told each other what they plan to do after the tour. Another thing is that this film fixed 2 of my biggest character issues from PP2. Emily and Aubrey feel like such forcibly written characters in 2, but in 3 they wrote a friendship for them, which Aubrey is supporting and telling Emily to pursue her music dreams and not give up, and vice versa, that friendship just really works, and makes those 2 characters fit back into the larger group more naturally. Sorry long answer but those are the biggest things I love about this film plot-wise lol.
2:30 WOW! What different opinion from mine! This routine was so fantastic in my eyes I went out of my way to track down and contact several of the performers online to let them know how much I loved about it and specifically how each one stood out. I can't say how many times I've watched just this scene on Fandango Clips just to get a boost.

Honestly having gone in a little nervous after seeing the Rotten Tomatoes score, I'm glad I still watched this one in particular. The plot may have gone all over the place, but oh my god the performances were amazing. Easily some of the best in the entire trilogy. And I'll admit that the montage they played in the credits of all three films genuinely got me choked up. Didn't help that I could see all the girls genuinely crying at the end. That cast is truly inseparable.
You need to check out the song they cut out….. the bella’s sing it to Stacey’s baby over the phone it show just how much Stacey does love/rely on the other bella’s when she is feeling down and struggling
0:28 to be fair…Pitch Perfect 2 was so successful there was no way they would not make a 3rd. It more than doubled the budget on opening weekend and it’s worldwide gross was 10x the cost.

Apparently Anna and Britt did want a romantic relationship in this movie and they filmed a kiss scene but it was never put in. Would have loved if they just put them together since they've hinted at since the first movie.

I just saw the 10th anniversary showing of Pitch Perfect in theaters. It was amazing. I loved rewatching it in theaters and it was cool to see never seen before content after the movie. I saw it too. I never heard about Pitch Perfect until I stumbled on it two years after it was released and I never imagined I'd have the chance to see it in a (mostly empty) theater.

I know you did a lot of Disney Originals, but I think you should give Zombies (the three movies) a chance. The vocals are definitely something I would like to hear your opinions on.
What I'm constantly impressed by with this movie is how they made the songs the bellas are supposed to not be good at good yet when you're watching the movie for the first time you can instantly tell there's something off and wrong. Like I distinctly remember not being impressed with those moments like cheap thrills but then still jamming out to it. Thats what I really wanted her to analyze. How they didnt sing it fully to make that cinematic moment happen
Actually enjoyed the other two pitch perfect movies first (one more so than the 2nd one), they're not perfect and some jokes are lazy and kind of off... but they are entertaining. Tried to watch this one, but turned it off somewhere near the middle. Honestly, it was really boring me. The jokes fell so flat and relied so heavily on the stereotypes of these very, now shallow characters. Kinda curious to find out how this movie ends, because it's actually sort of watchable now that it's in your video

This routine was so fantastic in my eyes I went out of my way to track down and contact several of the performers online to let them know how much I loved about it and specifically how each one stood out. I can't say how many times I've watched just this scene on Fandango Clips just to get a boost.

Honestly having gone in a little nervous after seeing the Rotten Tomatoes score, I'm glad I still watched this one in particular. The plot may have gone all over the place, but oh my god the performances were amazing. Easily some of the best in the entire trilogy. And I'll admit that the montage they played in the credits of all three films genuinely got me choked up. Didn't help that I could see all the girls genuinely crying at the end. That cast is truly inseparable.

You should definitely react to Shelly (Ashley) and Kelley (Jessica) singing baby it’s cold outside, it really shows how great their voices are and is such a good song. It’s definitely one of my favourites and confirms that they’re going out which is amazing
I think Kelley is one of, if not the most talented singer in Bellas. She's really underrated in Pitch Perfect movies.

@@imissnj2 it's true though. anna kendrick (and several other cast members) fought hard for bechloe - so much so that they tricked them into filming a kiss scene between beca and chloe. and the producers were certainly aware of it too, they shamelessly used bechloe to promote the movies and pretended like they were gonna make it happen.

I just saw the 10th anniversary showing of Pitch Perfect in theaters. It was amazing. I loved rewatching it in theaters and it was cool to see never seen before content after the movie.

I know you did a lot of Disney Originals, but I think you should give Zombies (the three movies) a chance. The vocals are definitely something I would like to hear your opinions on.
What I'm constantly impressed by with this movie is how they made the songs the bellas are supposed to not be good at good yet when you're watching the movie for the first time you can instantly tell there's something off and wrong. Like I distinctly remember not being impressed with those moments like cheap thrills but then still jamming out to it. Thats what I really wanted her to analyze. How they didnt sing it fully to make that cinematic moment happen
Actually enjoyed the other two pitch perfect movies first (one more so than the 2nd one), they're not perfect and some jokes are lazy and kind of off... but they are entertaining. Tried to watch this one, but turned it off somewhere near the middle. Honestly, it was really boring me. The jokes fell so flat and relied so heavily on the stereotypes of these very, now shallow characters. Kinda curious to find out how this movie ends, because it's actually sort of watchable now that it's in your video
