Clean car. I picked up my 94 z28 for $800. The guy thought the motor went out when it was actually just a fuel pump relay switch that cost $20 and now it runs just fine
I just grabbed a '95 z28 Convertible. Frame is tied together and the backseat is all rollbar. It's loud as hell with headers and exhaust mods. Even has a brake lock for burnouts. You ain't lying that they're super affordable and super fun cars.
I really like your honesty and yes the 350 LT1 is a great engine. Very misunderstood and criticised due to the optispark but very capable. The only thing I'm going to say where I kinda disagree is don't forget about the Firehawk! 🤣 They were quicker than the Camaros of 93 and 94. Yes you can do the same things easily to a 93 or 94 Camaro but the firehawk was already ahead of them after SLP did their magic.. 😉🦅 I do love Camaros too and yours is awesome but I've always had a softer spot for Firebirds. 😁🦅 Great videos. Thank you.
Thank you very much. I have not forgotten the Firehawks. Manufacturer tuner cars. Just like the GMMP and SLP Camaros. Way better than stock form. Nothing wrong with the Firebirds at all. I like the older TAs myself. Thank you for watching
Thank you so much for checking out my video. I have been offered good money several times but just can't let her go. Almost like the "first love" feeling every time I think about doing it. Thank you also for the great comments
Man a car that take a turn without flopping over makes my day. My lead foot doesn't like to come up for those curves lol. Great video. Lol @ "what did you expect." That always pops in my head when someone says you can't see out of a pony car.

Awesome video brother!! That fourth gen is tight!!! Since we've talked last I have bought a 01 trans am ws6. Loving these f bodies brother!!! So much fun!! You keep your car in such excellent condition!! I hope I do as well of a job taking care of mine as you do yours!!
They are very fun indeed. Love the WS6. My wife raced one before in my Z....Had a blast. Why thank you. It just takes time. Wife calls it obsession...LOL Thanks for watching and congrats
LOL.....I understand as far as the weight. I have long been convinced that they only up the horsepower in the cars to match the vehicle weight. Car makers and insurance companies hand in hand. It is not like they just come up with these engines over night. Thanks so much for checking out my video
Great video. Always had a soft spot for these 4th gens. I heard the design was inspired by the mako shark and I can see how. Very sleek and I think the design has aged well too.
I am right there with you. Seems like the more I drive it and look at it, the more it grows on me. to the point, I doubt I will ever let it go!! Thank you so much for watching
Nice car . I have had several LT1 birds. 12.8 is a stout 1/4 mile time for your car with stock exhaust manifolds . What was your mph? I had a 95 LT1 stock formula auto / 3.23 gears ran 14.00- 14.2 @ 98 mph at Atlanta drag way. I had a 93 LT1 m6 Firehawk with mid length headers and tune . Ran 13.7 -13.8 @ 102 mph. The 93 Firehawk was rated at 300 hp at the flywheel. After my mods and tune she dynoed 309 rwhp / 342 rwtq. You must have a factory freak to run 12.8 LT1 engines are awesome. Your right they do respond well to mods. Enjoyed your video.
Man did I ever screw up. A couple weeks ago there was a 94 z28 on craigslist in Desmoins for $500...Yes I said $500... Not a far drive from me in Omaha. It was in really good condition, just had an engine issue. Just so happens I have an excellent running Lt1engine setting around. Well to make a longer story short, when you snooze you lose. I didn't go get the car.
Oh man, that sux!! Yep, I have missed so many deals like that. No money, no time, excuses , excuses on my end....LOL Thank you so much for watching.....Hopefully you will find another

Robert Moran my transmission went out on my daily driver right outside of warranty. I was upside down 7k on my loan. So I couldn’t afford a v8 musclecar. I found a 2017 mustang ecoboost premium with 46,000 miles on it. They were asking $24,999 but I was able to negotiate the price down to $20k, plus the $7k I was upside down.. premium trim is really nice and surprisingly Thebes ecoboost. Is a quick car. I figure I can upgrade to v8’ next time. Got a few videos if you want to check it out
Well of course get one with as few miles on it as you can. The LT1 is notorious for oil leaks so check that. Outside of that, it will hard for you to be able to tell much about the condition of it. Try to take it to a local shop and have them give it a once over if you can. Yes it will cost, but could save you thousands in potential repairs. Dash are bad about cracking also. So try to get one without the cracks. They are $500 to replace. But if you are just getting it to have fun with,,,,,,,just find one that really tells you to get it. Thanks so much for watching

I ran a 14.1 to 14.2 @101mph stock, Long tube headers, cat back, electric water pump, custom tune and ran 13.07@108mph. Added 3.73 gears and a clutch and ran 12.8 @110 in good weather. It made 296rwhp after these mods.
That is all I have done at the time of that video. I have since done some rear suspension work. Also have better tire and wheel package. Thanks for watching

@@CamaroTime Yeah I heard you mention Rockingham I believe. I personally drive a 2010 Mustang GT but I'm thinking of buying a late 90s/early 2000s Camaro z28/SS which is why I'm watching videos on these Camaros. They were my favorite cars when I was in high school and the first 2 muscle cars I've ridden in was a 96 z28/ 2000s model WS6 Trans Am.. I've had 2 Mustangs and one of them is my current car. 2007 Mustang GT and my 2010 Mustang GT.. I'm just weary of the reliability of an older Camaro. I'm looking at a number of them on Craigslist. A lot of the SS models for sale cost more then what I paid for my 2010 GT which is why I'm going for a LT1 model. I just love those older Camaros.. The newer ones are just too ugly in my opinion.. And to be honest I think the SS models might be faster then my current Mustang which is stock except for Flowmaster exhaust. I did street race a LS1 SS in my 07 GT which had quite a bit of mods and barely won. We stayed dead even thru 1st and 2nd gear. I started pulling away when I hit 3rd... I have no idea what mods he had on his SS but it was twice as loud as my car.. I'm older now with a daughter so I don't race anymore which is another reason why I'd be happy settling for the LT1... Those models of Camaros were my favorite cars when I was a kid in middle school and high school.. All the sudden I got the serious urge to try and buy one even though I really don't need one lol... I'm looking at a 1996 dark green z28 for 6K and a 95 dark blue z28 for 5K on craigslist.. Both unmodded, lower miles, and well taken care of according to the ads and pics of the cars.. I really want a black one though to go with my black GT lol... Man I love those Camaros... If I can get 350 horsepower out of one of those LT1s, I'd be happy... I read they are only pushing about 285hp stock but have a lot of low end torque... My 2010 GT is pushing 315hp.. Bro, I absolutely love your car... I think I love it more then you do lol... Be safe brother...
@@spaceforcecaptain9639 I did indeed. Used to love to run the 1/4 mile down there. Sweet! The Mustang is a great ride!! I used to like them myself until they went with the current body style. just too European for me. Same as with the 6th Gen Camaro. it just does nothing for me. As for the Camaro you are thinking about. Later the better. The engines are better and have more hp to start with. Plus the parts are very abundan and relatively cheap compared to others.
@@CamaroTime I agree with you about the newer Mustang's body styles. I don't like them but their performance is ridiculous.. I like the 05 to 09 retro looking Mustangs and my 2010 body style better.. I like the 4 head lights on these body styles.. The 4.6 motors are showing their age though but it's one of the most reliable motors.. My 2010 GT was only 12k in price as well.. Like I said, some of the late model SS Camaros cost more then what I paid for my Mustang.. Now when talking Trans Ams from that generation, the price tags on them are way above the SS Camaros of the same gen lol... They held their value like the 03/04 Cobra Mustangs... Those Cobras are still over 20k in price.. If I had the money, I would get one of those Terminator Cobra Mustangs over the new Mustangs all day and not think twice about it... I do regret not getting a 2011 GT which was the 1st year of the Coyote 5.0.. I went with the 4.6 because of price and their known reliability... Those 5.0s come to find out are also super reliable... I'm about to turn 37 so having the fastest car isn't a big deal to me.. It's more about having fun at this point in my life... I'm also a cheap bastard lol... I don't know man.. I might shoot for the LS1... I'm only looking to spend 5-6k
Great Vid. But id take my 5th gen any day. Lol i think it jus looks better. But mayb ill take u up on sumthin u said. Find a beater 4th gen an use it 4 hobby an c what happens!!!
LOL.....I love my 5th gen as well. Video on that coming soon. With that said, it so cheap and easy to build one of these and get power like the modern cars. I love the creature comforts and styling of the fifth (do not like the 6th). But the 4th really does outperform the 5th. Weight has a lot to do with it. Thanks so much for watching
If it had traction control I would turn it off. But it does not, soooooo. As for getting it loose, sure when I hit the gas. But going around corners,,,,,,but better be planted because the car sure is. Sounds like you might have had issues with yours
Picture of? Go to channel page , look at the photo in my banner of the black Camaro. On the front bumper you will see the link to my google email.....Thanks
Lol, they do not corner well..that unibody is terrible .. Fast yes. Good handling , hell no.. My 97 cougar sport could have run circles around my 97 Z..not as fast but was nicer in e wry way
That is the whole reason for the strut tower brace. Because of the unibody. Mine as well as almost everyone else's seems to do just fine. Sounds like you had issues with yours

Lol,can't get loose around a turn ? Turn Trac control off. Shit, I can get loose at 25mph on a strait away with less mods too
If it had traction control I would turn it off. But it does not, soooooo. As for getting it loose, sure when I hit the gas. But going around corners,,,,,,but better be planted because the car sure is. Sounds like you might have had issues with yours
I have a 95 dosent take u turns well
replace the bushings with poly it will be much better. the front control arm bushing completely fail.
Send you e mail so i can send picture #propointofview
Picture of?

Lol, they do not corner well..that unibody is terrible ..
Fast yes. Good handling , hell no..
My 97 cougar sport could have run circles around my 97 Z..not as fast but was nicer in e wry way
That is the whole reason for the strut tower brace. Because of the unibody. Mine as well as almost everyone else's seems to do just fine. Sounds like you had issues with yours
flowmaster no thanks....... SLP loudmouth
They sound good as well
my car had a flowmaster installed by the previous owner. the baffles let go and it rattled terribly, i got a good deal on a decent used SLP system $175 for the complete cat-back and its stainless
Sweet. Love good deals!
I put magna flow and couldn't be happier.
Where are you located in NC? I'm in NC too.
High Dollar maintenance piece of CRAP!!!!
Really? Only maintenance I have ever done to it is oil changes and brakes. How much it cost to do a brake job on that 20156BMWi8 ?
