I just finished my best session ever, I played 1/2 for 10 hours , bought in for 400 and walked out with 2k. Your videos helped me improve my game alot, thanks Lex 😊
Big Props to the dealer by just taking the newbie's cards when he open mucks. I see far too many dealers try to educate/coach a player on what to do...just deal the game. If they want to play bad and donate money that is their choice. They can learn the old fashioned way.
Playing live, specially in Vegas, you see all kind of weird stuffs. One time, I saw a dude muck a full house on the board after putting ~80% of his chips in the pot. The other guy even flipped over his hand. The dealer was trying to help him by signaling the board played. He was drawing to a flush and missed, and tossed his hand into the muck. When people told him that the board played and he finally realized it, his face turned red , picked up his chips and left. At least was he was smart to quit.
Dealer trying to signal him is absolutely not gaming commission policy. Dealers only job is to arbitrage which hand wins at showdown. A dealer should not even ask a player to show his hand- he should only say “showdown” at end of river. Telling someone board plays is bad faith.
I’ve seen broadway on board (no flush so the board plays) in a 200BB+ pot, the SB jams his stack for like 300BB and the opponent FOLDED. The table went mad 😂
Wynn's 2/5 is great for a lot of reasons, along with the deep buy ins their rake structure is great reaching it's $5 cap at $90 vs most rooms $50 resorts world Vegas at $120

@LexOPoker Hey! I'm new to the channel and you probably won't respond to this but i have been binge watching a lot of your videos and your content is amazing! I really like the sound of your voice, it makes it easy to follow along! Do you do any coaching? I could really use some help in going through the thinking process and some terminology. I find myself stuck not being able to answer why or how to walk through the process of what my opponents have. Any advice would be great. Thanks!
You have to have money to make money. I have $10 to play tonight. Not sure how far that will go for shopping/dinner with a date and then playing poker later?
What’s up lex I love your videos I’ve seen them all. Keep it up man! Please stop saying it’s your favorite hand before the action starts because we kinda know where the hand is going when you say that. Note I’m not hating. Just a tip. Good luck
This happened to me with the noob but a whale noob came with 1000bb. I tried my best to keep him around. He did one of those mucks, first to act, but left early after losing like a few hundred bucks. What was insane is what everyone made of it, like two people thought it was all an angle

Well played Lex. Really like ur thought process w kq but ur KTs hand is puke, you were overthinking hand. Your cbet size is bad and its ez fold against c/r. You also had no plans on turn with SPR=1 and he is very likely will jam on turn.

Just played here last week. Played a 1 3 table there that had over 7500 on table after some dude left wit over 4k at 7 in the morning.I ran 300 up to 1700 in 6 hours only to lose it all in 4 hands at the venetian after. But I played a 2 5 no limit here one morn at 5 AM and I ran up 300 to 1400 in 30 minutes. Played 2 daily tournaments here 2 days in a row and placed 21st both days one in the money and missed pay by one place
Lex, Rampage and Mariano are thinking outside of the box and gets lucky. Not easy to do. I'm sure they have losing sessions too but it's bad for business to show too much. Hope they last many more years.
I think the bigger target on that open fold hand were the idiots that spoke to the guy about doing it, or the guy who said he's never seen it before. It's always brilliant to ridicule a dude who may actually be a beginner instead of a sandbagger.
I don't know Lex, if you do that good at the 2/5 game and feel so much more comfortable there, I would rather spend a little more time there and make more money and damn the content
Why? Have you seen how many people take 5k to the dice table or in a slot machine? The house in many instances has a bigger edge on them than you would at the poker table.
Lexo!! Your boys Amar and Jumangi just came and played at my spot here in Houston. We had a 2 table 5/5/10 with unlimited size straddle and available multiple straddles past the first one. Saw many 20/40/80/160 dollar straddles. Amar has mentioned you’d talked about maybe making a visit to us. As you know, houston poker is like nowhere else. A guy called a pre flop jam for &800 with KQ off and lost with a smile. A little later he three bets to $125 raise to $500 two hands in a row, first with 45 suited and won with a 5 and won lost the next one with 34. Our guys are sick. We’d be willing to talk about offers we can make to get you here. Our media guy is an absolute wizard so you can get some next level pictures and videos from a third party for your self keeping. Amar said you have my number but if not just ask him for it. I know we’ll give you nice accommodations and some money too. You’ll end up very happy with how it all goes. We can help each other. You can always find me on Face Book under Max Rox I work at 101 poker. I sure hope to hear from you. Blessing and run good out there. Also my buddy Versace says he knows you too sorry he’s an asshole sometimes. Lol we should bring him with you

Who cares how much the pot is? Should a $25/$50 dealer get tipped more than a $1/$3 dealer? Two players on a 4 handed table go all in for 10k each preflop. Should the winner tip more than the winner of a 9 handed $1/$2 table where 6 players see the flop, turn and river with betting on each? Technically, the dealer will work harder on the lower stake table but the pot wouldn't be close to the other one. They are doing the exact same thing. Dealers deal cards and push chips around. They are not there to entertain you. Personally, I feel that this tipping culture is getting out of control. Would it be easier if the casino or poker rooms just charged more per hour or a higher rake? The average dealer makes $20-$25 an hour in tips. Regardless of the stakes and pot sizes.
