In order to see your reimbursement of tolls plz screen shot what you made in the wallet before delivering and once delivery has been made look back in your wallet and see the difference. That means checking what you made for the order first and then check back in wallet for difference given back in toll. This is how I track. Hope this help.

I made the mistake of accepting a delivery to kirkland around 5pm tonight and got stuck on 405 in between bellevue and kirkland and that was no bueno definitely gonna avoid the freeway in rush hour thats for sure Thnx again!

The tax summary from Uber that you can print out from the Uber app keep track of online miles. So why would you need another app to do what’s already being done
On Uber eats I always screenshot the offer when it comes through especially if you're already on a delivery I can then look up the location on Google maps of the new drop off to make sure if I want to take it or not. If I don't like what I see I just end up canceling the order.
I don't have a heat bag but what I did is get a $20 beer can Cooler from walmart and put a heating pad in it on high, it make a nice warmer that can fit more big bags, I also have a second cooler for with Ice Packs in it for cold items. Also for taxes, (it can be a bit risky) but I have an Acorns account I put 24% of my weekly earning in (my tax rate is 21% before my deductions) That was my money grosses and if I do have to pay taxes I would of made some money off of it. This is just a side income and my fulltime job takes more than enough taxes out to cover anything I make on ubereats. If this is your sole Income I would run it by an accounts first on setting tax money aside, and make it grow and work for you (The govt. does the same with your tax money)

@@jacob.8303 I use an accountant, but I get a W2, and I have a 1099, for Uber you just down low your tax doc from the site. Last year was able to write off about 70% of my uber income. (Again, it was a side thing, so it was not a lot to begin with). but everything is file tougher. again, I used an account, they also know what all I can write off my expanses

I really effed a stack order tonight. every other time they plotted it 1st picked 1st dropped. They reversed it in this case. Totally my fault. The 2nd guy called me after I dropped and he hit me with the F. I reversed the drops. Fukt up two orders in one stack. Don't forget to double check your drop and make sure it's correct.
Is uber eats dead? I can't get shit? My first couple days were good, made about 60-70 every 4 hour session. After that I can't get anything. Last night I drove around downtown college campus for an hour or so and got nothing. Tonight I saw the campus was zoned as "lower wait time" so I got there quick and got 1 whole trip in an hour and a half for a total of $7.
I assume it has a LOT to do with where you live. I am in Columbus Ohio and there are like 5 separate, tightly packed/densely populated, high end areas here + The Ohio State University Campus - I have 17hrs in and have done 43 trips. (2.5 trips/hr -avg.) I am averaging $21/hr and I have taken some really bad orders due to inexperience and nerves... Also, I have turned down at lest 30 orders, some of which were probably good, but again, I didn't want to "bite of more than I could chew" right out of the gate.... Good Luck to you!!

Thank god i didn't!after 8 month i became uber pro and then i became gold and i started working for point and the money went down. From making $600 to $800 dollars a week to $200 if lucky. What if you live in areas that have no way to make more then 8-9 dollars with tips included for any restaurant. I’m guessing since this video is older things have changed some. I have hot bags, etc, etc, great ratings but never make more then 8-9 bucks a trip no matter how fancy the restaurant. People in within a 75 mile range are beyond cheap. I’ve gotten 2 tips in a year that were 10-15 bucks. Is it not worth ubering in my area or keep going cause I barely make it with gas and trav el.

I have been doing gig work/ mystery shopping for 5 years and I only turn my stuff over to my tax lady when I do my taxes. My work has always helped me and hubby at tax time. I have never had to pay in.
Yeah, splitting the money would not make any sense. If anything just grind hard and buy a 2nd car...Maybe then you could charge for the use? Don't get it twisted, if the homie needs help having a person with you would make it a lot more efficient as far as stops and drops + someone being able to actually read an order and contemplate it's validity (30sec goes by FAST when you are DRIVING at NIGHT!) Now that I think about it, it could save a life - However, I digress. With 2 peeps in the ride, in my area, you could probably knock down $30hr.... I drive for both Uber Eats and DoorDash and I’m not seeing how any of these 7 things you’ve mentioned are specific to Uber Eats. They fit for pretty much all gig apps. I was hoping to see information about Uber Eats specifically from what your title said.

What do the delivery rider apps like UberEats give you as login details? The email address or mobile phone nr. you signed up with and a password? Or something else? Is it necessary that you use the SIM card of the mobile phone nr. that you gave up when you signed up for the delivery app to login the app and do your orders with? Or can you also use another SIM card of another mobile phone nr. ? (eg because that SIM card has more monthly internet data allowence for example)
UE only tracks your miles while on an actual delivery. Not total miles while driving waiting forever an order. As long as app is on, ALL your miles are deductible. But the app has to be on and with the intention to accept orders. You can’t turn it on just for personal use (ex: grocery store) and decline any orders that come through.
@@cfleming614 uber eats tracks it all (online miles: miles you accumulate driving while online, miles you accumulate while driving to pick up food , miles you accumulate after picking up foods and driving to delivery destination) uber combines said miles in a report at the end of the year.

Great point. They only track miles during a delivery, you’re able to deduct miles from the moment you leave your house until you finish your last delivery - so any miles on the way to your first offer or between offers would be left out of their calculation. That’s why I prefer to track my own.
Has anyone else had problems lately with the Uber Plus card not working? In St Louis the Uber navigation is terrible and the app thinks I’m not at the restaurant yet so the card is always declined. These order and pay deliveries have huge payouts so it’s unfortunate and the restaurants are trying to take themselves off of the app because of this issue.
Yes I've had problems at least 1-2 times a day. It really sucks cause I would call ahead and order and then the card doesn't work. Support told me they've been having a lot of problems with it this past week. They told me that my location on the map wasn't where the ping for the restaurant was or right on top of it that's why it wasn't working

Lock your bike, this could cause you -thousands! I got a 4k ebike stolen from me before starting a shift for Uber, because I dropped and lost the alarm controller. Not even a week after I lost access to alarm it was stolen! Thug probably used to transport blues! 😠

I use the Everlance app to track mileage, but if you want to write down your mileage I would recommend a truckers log book. Find a gas station that services big trucks they will carry them. Log your date and miles in the book

It's very misleading to say you "made" $140. That was what you were paid. Unless your car runs on love and sunshine, you paid a bare minimum of $50 in gas ($85 if it were 2022 when this video came out). I don't know if the delivery apps pay TH-camrs to talk up their services, but I don't have any other explanation for the BS testimonials I see on here.

Uber East is more consistent whit sending orders than DoorDash Here in Chicago I don’t know about other areas I originally started doing door Dash but I don’t know what happen recently I been getting some really minimum $3 orders that Are not worth it for me I only do this on my bike so I guess it’s different for everyone

What app do you use to keep track of Mileage?
I have worked over a year and at first it was great. So good that i almost quit my fulltime job. Thank god i didn't!after 8 month i became uber pro and then i became gold and i started working for point and the money went down. From making $600 to $800 dollars a week to $200 if lucky. So im hopping after covib it will come back. The expected tip shit is horrible. I live in a high tipping are in long island an i was making more in tips then Uber and now i make no tip. What happened?

What if you live in areas that have no way to make more then 8-9 dollars with tips included for any restaurant. I’m guessing since this video is older things have changed some. I have hot bags, etc, etc, great ratings but never make more then 8-9 bucks a trip no matter how fancy the restaurant. People in within a 75 mile range are beyond cheap. I’ve gotten 2 tips in a year that were 10-15 bucks. Is it not worth ubering in my area or keep going cause I barely make it with gas and trav el.

I have been doing gig work/ mystery shopping for 5 years and I only turn my stuff over to my tax lady when I do my taxes. My work has always helped me and hubby at tax time. I have never had to pay in.

Yeah, splitting the money would not make any sense. If anything just grind hard and buy a 2nd car...Maybe then you could charge for the use? Don't get it twisted, if the homie needs help having a person with you would make it a lot more efficient as far as stops and drops + someone being able to actually read an order and contemplate it's validity (30sec goes by FAST when you are DRIVING at NIGHT!) Now that I think about it, it could save a life - However, I digress. With 2 peeps in the ride, in my area, you could probably knock down $30hr....
So yeah, _perhaps_ it is a plausible idea, at least for a start.

I drive for both Uber Eats and DoorDash and I’m not seeing how any of these 7 things you’ve mentioned are specific to Uber Eats. They fit for pretty much all gig apps. I was hoping to see information about Uber Eats specifically from what your title said.

What do the delivery rider apps like UberEats give you as login details? The email address or mobile phone nr. you signed up with and a password? Or something else?
Is it necessary that you use the SIM card of the mobile phone nr. that you gave up when you signed up for the delivery app to login the app and do your orders with? Or can you also use another SIM card of another mobile phone nr. ? (eg because that SIM card has more monthly internet data allowence for example)

New to Uber Eats. How do I create a report for taxes when it comes time?
UE only tracks your miles while on an actual delivery. Not total miles while driving waiting forever an order. As long as app is on, ALL your miles are deductible. But the app has to be on and with the intention to accept orders. You can’t turn it on just for personal use (ex: grocery store) and decline any orders that come through.
@@cfleming614 uber eats tracks it all (online miles: miles you accumulate driving while online, miles you accumulate while driving to pick up food , miles you accumulate after picking up foods and driving to delivery destination) uber combines said miles in a report at the end of the year.

FYI...Uber tracks your miles for you.
Great point. They only track miles during a delivery, you’re able to deduct miles from the moment you leave your house until you finish your last delivery - so any miles on the way to your first offer or between offers would be left out of their calculation. That’s why I prefer to track my own.

Has anyone else had problems lately with the Uber Plus card not working? In St Louis the Uber navigation is terrible and the app thinks I’m not at the restaurant yet so the card is always declined. These order and pay deliveries have huge payouts so it’s unfortunate and the restaurants are trying to take themselves off of the app because of this issue.
Yes I've had problems at least 1-2 times a day. It really sucks cause I would call ahead and order and then the card doesn't work. Support told me they've been having a lot of problems with it this past week. They told me that my location on the map wasn't where the ping for the restaurant was or right on top of it that's why it wasn't working
We've had issues in St Louis also with the card being denied at one place and working at the next.
@@alycegivarz7052 I figured out that if the restaurant is close to the street it will work because the pin ends on the street. I had to walk out on the sidewalk at Imos once just so it would work lol

Once you earn over $600. You get a deduction for mileage so your taxes can be reduced quite a bit.

Hello, I just started uber eats for three days already. How do you prove to the government when you manually write down the miles yourself?
I use the Everlance app to track mileage, but if you want to write down your mileage I would recommend a truckers log book. Find a gas station that services big trucks they will carry them.

It's very misleading to say you "made" $140. That was what you were paid. Unless your car runs on love and sunshine, you paid a bare minimum of $50 in gas ($85 if it were 2022 when this video came out). I don't know if the delivery apps pay TH-camrs to talk up their services, but I don't have any other explanation for the BS testimonials I see on here.

Uber East is more consistent whit sending orders than DoorDash Here in Chicago I don’t know about other areas I originally started doing door Dash but I don’t know what happen recently I been getting some really minimum $3 orders that Are not worth it for me I only do this on my bike so I guess it’s different for everyone
