Uh, yeah Mike. You're doing this on your stove in your KITCHEN!!!!?????? You're funny. I love it. Been there, done that. Rebuilt a 302 Ford engine in a bedroom of a second floor apartment.
Mike's using my usual work benches, which you get to when your single and there is a new dog in a crate behind him. Nope it's Miss Lola who's been refurbished and looking wonderful. I'd put money on it running and this is a cliff hanger or Randy has to wait for the insurance money to rebuild the shop after the fire. Fun video as always. Thank you.
Check the pressure at the warm up regulator. It controls the richness of the mixture. I've worked on countless Porsches, BMWs, Volvos and Audis running the old Bosch K jet. I always start with checking the system pressure and control pressure!
Lola does look good. We do the same haircut to our 16 year old toy poodle. Just shave him completely. We try to hold out for the summer cause winter it is better to have him with long hair to keep him warm
Heyyyy Mike, pleaseeee do that 3 item check list they do, like check the Air, the Spark and the fuel to see which area needs fixing? Take a plug out, put the boot on and turn the key to see if it sparks. When you lift the fuel distribution system does it spray fuel in that big throttle body unit? 🤔 Ohhhhh I want this car to start so baddddd
If it did start, I would give you an A+! Most of the time, the fuel distributor rebuild is not successful. It takes a major rebuilder to successfully rebuild them. Many MB, BMW, and Rolls Royce/Bentley owners use CIS Flowtech in Alabama .
A relatively short video with a cliff hanger? Ok it won't start! I've read some good guesses in the comments. Maybe ask John to come over, also to have a look on 'Diese', because I expect it to cause trouble, too 😁😁
You guys are pretty funny. Reckless, but funny. As I watched, I said out loud, "Check the EHA!". Never saw it happen, so here's a suggestion. A quick EHA test can be done with a 9 volt battery, by touching the 9v battery terminals to the contacts on the EHA, you should hear a "click" in the EHA. Try a few times. If you don't hear the click, (assuming you used a good 9v battery!) replace the EHA. Good Luck and please, be careful! I suffered gasoline burns when I was foolish and young. You're out of excuses.
Using a flammable liquid in a ultrasonic is not always good practice. Ultrasonic cleaners prefer being filled to top level or it can damage transducers.
After like 120-150k miles it's better just to replace the fuel injectors the little spring inside eventually wears out so there's no point in cleaning them. Also take into to consideration the age of most of these cars is 30+ yrs so alot of parts have to be replaced or rebuilt
Saw a youtube on a 230ce 1990 had same problem would not idle ran rough just changed firing order that dame thing was running on 2 cylinders bad distributor cap incorrect firing order.Check it out Mike
Hi Mick just have rebuilted my 560 sel fd but after i install it in places and jump the fuel pump relay the fuel is fountaining from all 8 channels. Any idea what i have done wrong?
Unfortunately fuel distributor rebuilds rarely go as planned without sending it off to CIS rebuilds. There's a lot going on with those KE systems. Too many critical parts and adjustments. Good luck with it. Old KE systems are similar to the Whack-a-mole.
At first, those injectors CAN NOT be cleaned you just lost your time, they are simply being replaced! Second, don't let that old trader lying to you! For the money you pay him for the "tester" you will buy brand new injectors which you will replace after 100k miles. As for the distributor, the plunger goes back very slowly. Good luck!
I guess I'll have to wait....not happy about it...but I'll do it!!!!! FINGERS CROSSED!!!

Great work😎👌🔥🔥
It must be good being single when you can set at your kitchen table and work on car parts.
Lola looks great.

Minxy Mike - leavin us a hangin on there....
I stuff spinning before the video ended you two!!! 🎉🎉😂😂
Cleaning car parts in the kitchen? That's awesome! My wife would keel me if I did that though. Keep up the awesome videos. So fun to watch!
Thanks 😊 for video 📹
When Randy was laughing, I thought he would have said, "Hey why not get a gas drenched rag to see if that will help?", lol lol lol
He’s said that like 1,000,000,000 times!! Lol
Yup will start
Cliff hanger might have been "Does it start, or catch on fire again?"

Love the name Disco Inferno

Some cars are just stubborn but you should know this 😆😅🤣😂
Mike your making Kent jealous.

Just wanted to stop by and say love the content keep up the good work 👍🏼
Mike likes bubbles in his nooks and crannies.....
The towering inferno burn baby burn disco inferno.

Thanks for video..
Lola looks beautiful

💊💊💊
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Maybe its to lean, try adjusting the mixture screw
Oh nooooo I hope it starts 😭
Darn, I thought they were goodies for Lola.
"Piece de resistance" is not the term you want to use, Mike. 'Resistance' to fuel flow is your problem! A cliffhanger? How could you do this to us?😱
You can't end a video like that? OK I'll wait one more day.
Hey Mike, you should call it the monkey layer😄
Hey Mike …
Good day everyone…
Job on everything else is good..
Lola is like what dat ultrasonic sound iz can hear?
After you can use the ultrasonic cleaner to cook a chicken
Oh no Mike...it doesn't start 😂
Are we dealing with possibly a bad fuel pump relay at this point?
Bosch mechanical fuel injection probably set back fuel injection adoption by 5 years.

I’ve rebuilt 3 successfully. I’m hoping this is #4! Lol

Rumor has it a man went to a local Tulsa dog groomer with a charred dog and had it trimmed...coincidence??
