- Watch adorable footage of Prince Louis at the Coronation of his grandfather, King Charles III.
The young Prince sat with his parents, the Prince and Princess of Wales, during the service at Westminster Abbey.
He then rode in a carriage to Buckingham Palace where he joined extended members of the Royal Family on the balcony to view the flypast, which was concluded by the Red Arrows.

It was well done to give little Louise a chance to retire for a time. His behaviour was very fine. Adoreable Charlotte, she was so proud to wear a wonderful dress and real tights, just like a grown up lady. Some day, people will say, she is so cautiosly and carefull like her aunt Anne. I love it how she always has a look on her brothers, she is a fine young lady.
Both of the Wales children in the seats behaved impeccably. Prince George, as a page, did his solemn duty admirably.

My understanding is the Wales were originally supposed to enter the church ahead of Charles, but Charles' carriage arrived early, throwing the timing of the procession off. So it was a bit of a glitch but nothing scandalous the way the news is trying to make it seem.

I would say if any of those children stole the show it was Charlotte with her tender, loving care for her younger brother. She looked like every little girl's dream of a Princess. She's growing up to be a real beauty. Little Louis conducted himself so very well and never put a hair out of place. George looked a little nervous throughout. He was chewing the insides of his cheeks the whole time but he did extremely well. I was so very proud of those children.
George let his hair down on the balcony. Apparently they trained for 2 weeks. He was the youngest of all the page boys and so handsome.

You should be proud. What a bittersweet moment in history to mourn the greatest Queen and celebrate her heir. She really finished strong and like her father, accepted the hand she was dealt with grace, strength in Christ, homour, and dignity. I look forward to meeting her in heaven.
I am American, a Texan. I hope the British fight to keep the monarchy as is. There are those who would like to dissolve the inst itution. Don't let them. It is part of who you are. They belong to the world in some way. At the very least they draw many tourists.

For a 2 hour service He was so well behaved. My girls would have been singing and running up and down the Abbey. It was ALL Wonderful Humbling and Magnificient.
Prince Louis did not attend the entire service. He made an appearance and then left to be with the nanny and then returned for the final events. It was a good move by Catherine so he wouldn’t get restless during an entire 2 hour service. A good compromise.
No other country in the world can say they have a 1,000 years of repeated events in the same building. It is amazing. Huge fan from the USA
1000 years repeated event in the same building? Not so. 1000 yrs ago it was Roman Catholic in a Roman Catholic building, the Abbey, now in the hands of the Protestants, who murdered the Monks and Priests to get it. The Abbey belongs to Catholics as does also Canterbury Cathedral and York Minister, to name but three magnificent Roman Catholic buildings stolen from the Catholics.

Every detail has a whole symbolism behind it. I think these celebrations are wonderful. The three children behaved very well, it is not easy being a grandson of the King, son of the Prince and future King of the UK.

It bothers me as a mother of 3...the same dynamic: My eldest son always got overlooked, and it use to break my heart to see my eldest son's face because he was being overlooked yet again by unfeeling people who just don't have a clue! Try explaining to a little kid that he's not cute like the little girl and he's not the youngest when he's only 15 months older than the second child. Believe me...there is no explaining that! IDK...it just hits me wrong!

Prince George like his father and his grandfather and the people before them was groomed for that role they don’t have a childhood the childhood has been taken away from them they are supposed to be in a grown-up position which is terribly sad. Can you hear things like Prince Charles don’t know how to brush his teeth by himself someone actually put toothpaste on his toothbrush someone has to dress him someone Hass to wipe his butt I mean that is absolutely sad that children grow up to be grown men who are still children in that particular situation
I am 59 so my opinion is a little out of date , but I am the oldest with a spread of siblings just the same as George and that is the way of it e=with Adults and even Grandparents , but being the eldest does conver a inbuilt sense of confidence so it is not really a blow to self esteem - and I like your lad are not even going to be the most important person in the country one day !
Oh, don't worry...a lot of us noticed how well George conducted himself. He did a wonderful job yesterday.

At the Queen’s jubilee last year, I loved the way Louis just scrambled up on the now king’s lap. He looked so comfortable doing that I thought then that Charles seems to be a very good grandfather.

Can I say, as a petite lady, I LOVE Princess Anne’s big red feather. On the balcony, she could barely been seen behind the tall Prince William and Princess Kate except for the big RED Feather!
I don’t see how Louis stole the show. It was remarkable how well he behaved in church. This kind of stuff is incredibly boring to children that age but even to be still that long is doubly noteworthy.
I can’t get over how big George is getting and Charlotte is so good at all of it. She looks like the future Royal who will be totally at ease with the attention and will win the hearts of her countrymen.

The children were just wonderful and well-behaved. Princess Kate is an excellent mother. The whole coronation was incredible. It went off without a snag , except the horse incident. I am glad everyone was safe.
