Good hunt & good footage. I know that area very well - it's a tough place to hunt on foot and to even see a couple legal rams in there is an accomplishment. Some of those rams get up in areas that are impossible to get at. Beautiful place to hunt though, I hope to be back there this year.

Great video guys, was in spatsizi in 2014, what a beautiful place! Of course my dumb ass flew into an area with no sheep. Was like pulling teeth trying to find info on the place, live and learn haha! I see you guys had smoke problems last summer too, by the 6th day of my sheep hunt stone mtn area i could see about 300 feet. Counting the days till next August!
Its amazing country. Its intimidating to take the jump into sheep hunting without any experience, but its so worth it. Ill be checking out your videos, thanks for the comment!!

We went second week of august i believe. Flights are going up every couple years it seems but i think we paid between $1500 and 1700 round trip, can’t remember exactly
obviously rookie sheep hunters...as a sheep guide for 20+ years in my view they done it all wrong...you do not climb the mountain first...you sit and glass the mountain and if you find sheep you make a plan and go after it...you will burn out in a hurry
Cool comment. That was the first time we had ever actually hunted sheep. There is a huge learning curve, and that trip was a blast. No shame in being a rookie and trying to learn the ropes without a guide.
Hope 2 years of life unlodged the stick from your ass “sheep guide”. You’re the same guy that’ll shame a first time sheep hunter for taking a full curl 7.5 yr old.

Yes, if you are a BC resident and understand the hunting regs, you can hunt without a guide anywhere in the province basically.
You do have to be a resident to hunt without a guide in any province and follow the regulations .
I stayed in that cabin my mother was born at cold fish lake so no a bit about the area
