    Awesome! Steve👌👍 and when good folks get better at guitar they learn to play past twelve fret too to match the tone family for example third fifth fret etc. Kind regards

    Love the encouragement, insight, and freedom in your lessons! I walked away feeling like I had something new to explore, but still with enough structure to know where to start. Thank you!

    Awesome Video Steve. Thank you for showing all of us the "key" (all pun intended) to soling in one spot of the fret board. I have always wondered how this was done. You're style of teaching makes learning guitar so much easier. Thankyou again & rock on

      8 years later and I am still trying to secure my accounts while others are still ever present, trying to intercept communications and regain access to accounts and passwords. Why, you may ask? It's all "about the Benjamin's" just as the song says. And just as written, "the LOVE of money" Truly the root of ALL EVIL

      @edkring8676. Hey Steve and anyone else out there. Hope to catch up soon. Maybe schedule myself a lesson. Right now, I'm just going flip through and see what and who I might run into on the Tube...or is it TikTok? Facebook? No, wait, it's that ghub?!? All the same, just change the names and page/site layouts a bit. Yet, when it comes to quality, honesty, trusting programming and channels; I guess that depends on the quality and intentions of the person, crew, group of the thinkers , speakers, instructors and anyone else that has something to say and share with the world. I have seen little windows and pieces of the Works that are now moving throughout the earth and the people's of it. I have seen and am faithfully confident in all who is out there working together to heal the lands and the hearts and minds of the people's. There are certain ones who are here with me daily, they tell me that what I think is happening really isn't. They claim that there are some that just want me to believe that all is moving forward in the right direction. That would be sad if that wee so. it would mean that there is no Hope for mankind to learn from the things of yesterday, that history not repeat itself once again. If man does not change their thoughts and actions and begin to be thoughtful of their existence and what each person, and groups, people's and tribes of the nations leave behind in their wake, then there will one day that may never come. Neither man nor history will have the chance to repeat or chose to make changes and preserve the lands and lives of the earth. Howbeit, I have greater faith and hopes for and in mankind. I truly believe that together, we have taken the greatest leap that man has ever known. Ways have been made and doors opened to the NEW THINGS of NOW and many tomorrow's to come. I wonder what we will find as we walk through those doors where aur futures await. Perhaps, some will boldly go where no has gone before✨😉. I myself am looking forward to see the progress and how the minds have grown, or should I say evolved in their thinking and ideas, now with open minds and lifted possibilities and expectations. Fore, the things that once blocked the way has been removed and stumbling blocks cast out of the way.
      This is the Salvation that was for told to come. This is the Gospel of Christ and that Good News the you have heard...just as was written, yet, now understood within each man who hears and believes in their hearts where The Light eliminates and the Life of Spirit of Christ abides. THIS IS THE SALVATION and THE WILL OF GOD.
      May that Peace be with you and in you All. ❤️

    Good explanation of how to solo in one position if all the diatonic chords played remain there and switch to other position for non conforming chords

    Thanks Steve. Just to confirm - is the third position of the relative minor pentatonic the same as the second position of the major pentatonic?

    • @stinemusiclessons
      @stinemusiclessons  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi my pleasure! The answer is yes! First position of major pentatonic is the same as second of the relative minor and from there each position shifts, therefore second of major is third of minor and so on. 👍

    Beautiful demonstration as always Steve! quick question, aside from playing towards the tonal note we are essentially targeting the chord triads / characteristic modal notes right?

    • @stinemusiclessons
      @stinemusiclessons  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi thanks for commenting. Yes, absolutely. Chord tones are really important, that's what matches the chords and we can hear them without having to play the chord itself. Arpeggios are great for this since they only have the notes of the chord. The 3rd of the chord is an important note to target because it defines the quality of the chord, either major or minor. Modes add color tones and allow us to play more melodically. Thanks again for your comment and hope this answers your question.

    Always thankful
    Im definitely going to purchase your course when i have have time free'd up.
    Since i never heard, from your camp, if i can always access them after i buy them.
    Im hesitant to purchase until i know i have time to practice, incase i lose the ability to access your material.
    Im asking a question here.

      I did ask a question and still no answer.
      Please advise:
      If I buy into your course, do I always have access to the material? Or does the ability to access your material go away when I stop making monthly payments?
      Reason im asking is that I'm very busy and don't have time to dedicate to the course as much I need every month or week, and that time constraint changes from week to week.

    Hello TH-camrs. It in now 9:59AM in Indy and it's a Beautiful morning...A Fresh New Day. Maybe a Good day to start something new. Like learning to play that guitar like you (and me) have always wanted to. Like Nike says, "Just do it" don't keep putting off things you could be doing and enjoying TODAY.
    Always Remember to be Nice to yourself and others
