Appreciated this video. I know it's a simple task, but as a new ham it was nice to have you alongside me, double checking my work so I don't screw up the shiny new rig.
One of the big improvements in this firmware is the DNR. I have seen huge improvements in noise reduction and bringing signals out of the noise. Try turning the DNR up on a noisy signal.
No disrespect meant here but your video like all the others show how to upgrade the FW. Yaesu provides the instructions in detail so you can do it with no issues and the one thing I never see is the feature/issue addressed by showing the before and after of the upgrade/update. Of course the issues are listed in the documentation but it should be showcased in the video to complete the reason for the upgrade. No? I usually see mentions of the fixes in the comments but the visuals really tell a better story when they are in the video.
This is my video of its kinda, updating firmware. I usually HATE updating firmware on any of my devices / computers. This stems back to the old computer days of rolling the dice if the update firmware will be successful or you just bricked your device. YOUR second point. A to point by feature comparison might be hard to really show the differences. IT might be suggestive and trickking BUGs, i am doing to take a hard pass. HOWEVER, i will consider it for the next Yaesu update, BEACUSE the update process to VERY STUPID Simple.

You missed the last step. End with profound sense of disappointment that so many issue remain unfixed and new features have so many gaps.
