Yup. I can't see anyone getting between Sweden, Finland and Norway. Ukraine might do it, but this will be the Top4 and nobody else.

It's not really that fresh, I have heard kind of similiar songs to cha cha cha before. Anyway Sweden has an amazing staging that we have not seen at Eurovision before. They also have the charisma and high energy too, especially that last part in song.

Loreen is fantastic and she would be an amazing winner but my heart goes with Finland this year. UMK was such a success, they had many amazing options but still managed to choose the best unlike others countries in which the voters were more greedy, resulting the points being too splitted between the favourites and we experienced some bad surprises at the end ... They deserve that trophy so much.
Sweden also had quite good options, but Loreen was the best, because she was just too good.
@@persberg7245 no, only Loreen and Smash Into Pieces imo. and we are talking about 28 contestants. UMK, with only 7 contestants, had Käärijä, Kuumaa, Benjamin and Keira

Sadly it looks like juries will massively favour Sweden while Finland might struggle quite a bit. I believe Finland will win the televote but the discrepancy between juries and televote might cost them the win...SMH!

Yes, Loreen's family are berber/amazighs from Morocco, and Tattoo has so many elements from that. As I look at it, she is "lifting the sky" like the god Atlas, that according to mythology stood in Morocco, the Atlas Mountains. Her stance when lifting the sky look a bit like the letter that symbolizes the amazigh people: ⵣ. She has rocks from this region on her nails, there are a lot of cultural symbolism here.
While "Euphoria" was like Sweden, dark, cold, snowy, like moonlight, "Tattoo" is warm, sandy, like sunrise in Morocco, like two parts of her and they're like parts of the same they both have this like ethereal thread between them, like they're part of the same story, or like two places in the same mystical universe that you just want to hear the next chapter of.
So she's amazigh... but she's also amazing! I'm so happy to hear that you love this song as much as I do! It's really something else, I was moved to tears first time I saw this performance.

1. Finland and then nothing, I don't like Nordic entries usually, too soulless and calculated for my taste, like their mentality more or less. Iceland and Denmark I kinda like.

It would be an absolute dream to bring ESC back to Finland. We would have absolutely multiple great cities where we could host the competition in. WHile televoting could help us to win I just keep having doubts that the Juries will back us up on this one and then Sweden takes it all which is fine as well. I just feel like our effort in esc has just increasingly developed over the past few years and UMK has been amazing so winning especially this year would be so rewarding.

If I was Norwegian I wouldn't give up on the win. Queen of Kings has massive mainstream appeal and will do extremely well in televote and juries will appreciate it too. She has a chance, albeit a slim one.

The only ”problem” with Loreen is that she needs to change her performance for the Eurovision. What she will change and how different it will be is still unknown but I’m afraid that it will be for the worse becuase her previous performance basically was perfect. As you say, everything Loreen does on that stage is natural and organic so I’m sure that she will have a great performance either way. As a swede I of course want her to win, but if she doesn’t I’m hoping that Finland wins it

I got a protesting war/supporting Ukraine vibe from Iceland's staging. De-emphasizing herself but focusing on the sunflowers (I've seen this as a symbol for Ukraine) with a sky/light blue blocky suit to help her blend in to the background
Let's not forget this is a SONG contest, not a show contest, or a singing contest. Tattoo is not original or groundbreaking. Loreen is an incredible performer, but that's where it ends. There are objectively far better songs in 2023.
Singing is a very important criteria in a song contest, when you rate a song to be either good or bad. Things don't have to be original all the time, as long as it's good It can win. The song being just different does not mean its good

Sweden is my number one. I is a great song. Prefer Euphoria. Finland has top quality song but I feel the juries will hurt them. Something tells me that the juries will come out on top over the televote this year. We have not had that since 2015.
