I wouldn’t focus on what median your using- you can have the best equipment but without having the actual drawing skill- your going absolutely nowhere. I have procreate on my iPad and an apple pen- yet I haven’t touched it in months because I have lack of motivation because I don’t have the skill to draw what I want- It’s a vicious cycle 😭

I know you usually don't use it and I feel like i've realized something similar where i feel awkward with line art or i feel like since it's not clean enough i shouldn't stick to it, but at the same time it's all i know so i'm kind of stuck...but ahhh idol venti came out so cute T^T
@@mirabelle_mirage one thing that has helped a bit is experimenting with line width! I also try coloring the line art to be the same hue as the area it's lining, except a little darker (so like a dark blue for the line art of someone's blue coat),. This way it doesn't stand out too much like typical black line art, but it still provides that structure and detail. It's definitely tricky but hopefully you can find a style you feel better with ^^ keep at it!

the art turned out GREAT he looks more like a girl now! tbh when i first saw him i thought he was a girl 💀 i didnt know we were using the same ipad! the storage is kinda annoying 😭 i literally deleted almost everything and the storage is still full! Apple this is why im thinking of switching to an Android 💀 edit: i also like ibis piantX more cuz when u zoom in its still pixelated but more blurred so the edges of the pixels are not sharp unlike procreate (gosh im so bad at explaining😂)

I was just wondering what ur colour pencil settings is like. Whenever i colour theres always these annoying canvas texture but when you colour it looks so smooth. Can anyone help me?
If you use a larger size then the texture is much more apparent! When I was putting the skin colour over the hair, I think I showed what the pencil crayon texture looked like. If you use a smaller brush you cant see the texture as much! So when rendering it was easier for me to cover a bit of it up! Oh also you can turn off the texture in the settings of the brush if you need to!
