I've been watching lockpicking videos for many years and somehow this is the first time I've come across one of these doodads. Might have to pick one up, I'm terrible at dimple locks.
Great review. You've done a few of these tools in the past but this has to be up there as possibly the best. Although reasonably generic the three blades will get you into an awful lot of locks. I've had mine in Mul-T-Lock, Cisa and Q 3* so not bad to be honest. I've just done a video talking about a home made version of the other tool you used in this kit. It can be used to make or repair foils for multiple use. The key extractor I believe is to get out a piece of foil if it breaks off in the lock when you retract the tool. I've also used old keys to grind off the bitting and turn it into a foil impressioning tool. Great Review Video LN 😉👍
I've been watching quite a lot of foil impressing from Roy Sammons too. He has great videos on reusing old foils as well. Great video as always, I simply must follow this viewing coincidence 😊thanks for sharing and have a great week 🙏👍
Hmm, Might have to get one, just to have a play with. Considering its a cheap chinese thing, Im surprised it didnt come with a smiley lock blade. What size of replacement foils would you reccomend?
I have a key duplicating machine which should be able to use the foil impressions as a template to cut a new key, if I have the correct key blank. I'd need to try it to be sure. The foil would need to sit at the right height on the tracing side of the machine.
I've two versions of the same chinese kit, be aware that profiles are kind of random and not really accurate (i.e. none of mine matches the R6 profile)
Worth that price for just the fun and new acquired knowledge.
Yeah!
Love to see these oddball tools. Fun and educational. Thanks for bringing this to TH-cam.
This is such a fun way to impression dimple locks. Great review and demonstration.
Thank you!
Fascinating tools! Thanks for your honest review!

They are fun to play with
So the blade can't move. Nearly falls out when Mr noob flips the tool over😂. I reckon the key extractor is for pieces of foil in the keyway.
It’s better to secure both sides - clearly user error 😁😅😅
Great review, I’ve often seen these and always intrigued but not enough to buy one. This really is a super balanced review…
Great review.

Yeah, it does make sense having something to clear out old foil left behind! Thanks Roy!
I need to get one of these. want to start learning dimple locks.
Do it!!!
@@LockNoob IDK its a lot of money though. lol

You too my friend!!
The key removal pick is primarily to remove foil that can get stuck in there I learned.
I bought one of these a while ago but not needed to use it yet. Better looking at it than for it though.
I used one of this to open my gun safe about 6 years ago. Patience is the key here. Took about 3 hours to get it opened.
Thank you sir.
Great review.
I'm going to purchase one as cheep and cheerful and hopefully full of fun.
Nice one Ash. Much thanks!
No worries!
pretty cool, i dont see dimple locks much but i kinda want one
Super fun to pick!
quite cool, thanks for showing this!
Thanks 🙏
Great demo Ash mate 😊🇬🇧👊😎👍
Thank you Leon mate!
Now to make a key from the key impression. How about the hot glue, baking soda, graphite, superglue method?
Maybe the key extractor is for cleaning out scraps of foil from botched attempts.
Was I the only one thinking of that broken tool slipped he’d never be picking again 😢
Yes I think you might be the only one.
Lol
hey great vid found it very inforative
Glad it was helpful!
上下輕壓幾下,然後左右擺動,循環上述動作.可快速開啟
Presumably the broken key extractor since you're likely to break off the impressioning tools in a lock?
Well, I hope you don’t lol
can you create your own foil from... foil ?

Not try on iseo r6? 😊
Not this vid
@@LockNoob in a future video?
Nice video
Thanks!
Once you've impressioned the lock, how do you cut a new key?
Best way is to take out the old lock and replace it
Supper cool
Thanks 🙏
So you clearly can't make duplicate keys, right? This is basically to hopefully get into a dimple lock, but not much more.

You can read the bitting and make a key

Interesting, it’s always a little bit of a mixed bad when buying Chinese tools
i have the bigger set, but had still no succes
Really? It can be tricky to get the hang of it but it really does work well
