finally! Been waiting for this review. Even Wang Tzu Wei said himself that he plays with a 4u model. Would love to see you review the 4u model when you get the chance, as I believe doubles players would want to know how it plays in doubles.
Just noticed from the victor website that there is a new racket, Thruster Ryuga II Pro. Hope you'd be able to try it out soon and compare it to the other ryuga models. There was also an image of comparison between the ryuga models in the product description, hope you'd compare it to your actual testing feel.
Beware when buying the Metallic 10X - there is a known issue that the shaft can "turn / rotate" as it is not sealed properly inside the Freecore handle.
My FIRST Drive X 10s were very defective. The handle really did come off and loose. Got my replacement from Victor and the issues have been definitely fixed. Got myself two more Drive X 10s. Both no longer have any issues.
If I may add. I just recently got myself a Ryuga Metallic and after only a couple of hours with it, an off-centered hit snapped the string and the frame literally broke at 5 o clock position. Strung at 27lbs with Exbolt 63. Seems like the first batches of Victor's new gen rackets really have QC issues.
I'm using the DX10 in 4UG5. I absolutely love the feel of this racket especially when smashing! I was previously using the Axforce100 but the DX10 feels so much nicer in terms of feel and the way the shuttles rocket off the strings after a smash! I think you should try the 4U
Thanks for the review but most people would want to know how the 4u plays. If at all possible that would be nice. Maybe with the 90kii and ryuga ii, all of which seem to be relatively similar, Regards.
Always a great review from you. I also do agree that the recent metallic series of the drivex and ryuga are by far the best looking rackets from victor (personally). I do have a question and I'd like some advice from you as you have tried several various rackets over the past few years. Which is more forgiving to play with a 3u head light racket, 4u even balance racket, or a 5u head heavy racket (although I'm not sure if you've tested a 5u headheavy racket, i think the lining budget rackets you reviewed was 5u). Also, among the 3 which one would you think deliver more power? Hope you'd answer my question. Thank you always for great videos. Keep up the great work.
I currently use Victor DriveX 9. The experience is a lot of faster, playing front court and defense smooth and easy. Smash are accurate and easy. But not comparable with head heavy racket such as Lining Axforce 80 and Yonex 88D Pro in term of smashing power.
Hey CK! Question to the author of this channel. Is there any chance to see a comparison review to the yonex nanoflare 800's series rockets in the nearest future? (Pro, tour, play etc)
Hey CK ! What do you think of the idea of making a video about badminton strings other than Yonex ? I feel there are other brands that are much cheaper than Yonex but no one knows how good they are, or what's their "Yonex equivalent". Also, Yonex strings are constantly out of stock everywhere... As a new stringer I would love to offer alternative strings to my club, but I find zero information about other brands VS Yonex... Keep up the good work !
Bro, cam you help.me.with victor thruster f enhanced edition. I tried it everywhere in india as well as central sports website its not availaible. I also messaged greg mairs for the same but he isnt replying as well...let me know if you have any source in your olace which can help me procure two pieces of thruster f enhanced edition and shipping to india.
Hey CK! New sub here, question: I have an old muscle power 99 and looking for an upgrade, which modern racket is the most alike? Thanks, and I really enjoy your videos. 🎉
I don't know why I am commenting here. But has anyone tried apacs pro commander!! I recently bought it at the just 5k in India. And it is one of the best rackets I have played with.
I im considering to try dx10 and ars100x, i was using yonex 77pro before but i feel its a bit stiffer for me, from dx10 and 100x which would you suggest? For all rounder gameplay in doubles
@@anhinh2719 Yep I am hard hitters rear court players. I owned Thruster but it is an old type. Auraspeed is too head light for me. I do have my advanced player of Auraspeed cone is moving or loose, even worse the free core is tilting. I am not bias but Victor has some problems with free core.
Based on other reviews I think it can generate a lot of power, but depends on how well positioned you are and how good your technique is since I heard it can be very hard to play with compared to other high end rackets.
In term of speed, i think it’s the fastest one due to it’s shaft and it’s frame make the air resistance on it the least, in term of power, if you are strong and can generate much power in a short time, you can surprise the opponent, otherwise if you want generate big power in a short time, don’t choose it
drivex10 metallic season one is bad quality... but hv more power...m more heavy and bit flex... but i got season 2... good quality but more lighter and more flex.. less power...😂😂😂😂

victor is going crazy with the random names and zero info lol incredibly annoying and the thing i hate the most with racket manufacturers rn
Too head heavy, like a hammer

Well that should be under warranty then?
It can be warrantied... And its the problem from the first batch...

Yup done with victor chinese crap, will go with japan only Now if you know what I mean !
I've been waiting for this review for so long CK!! ABOUT TIME!!! Also I got a 4U G5 DX10, certainly head heavy than thruster f enhanced
How is it compared to Bravesword 12 SE? 👀

Had both 3U and 4U variant of the dx10M. The 4U and 3U feels so different in terms of stiffness and head weight, Feels like 2 different racket IMO.
How does the 4U version feel? Especially in a doubles setting. I'd appreciate your input 😄
3u and 4u which one u like the most
Im guessinf this video took a while, but im so glad its finally out
Need Exbolt 68 review Bro as early as possible 😊 Thanks 🙏🏼
Which is better for power, speed, and control between the driveX 10 metallic, driveX 9X and the 88s pro gen 3?
comparing this with Astrox 88 S/D Pro gen 3. which one will be your pick?

Hi CK 👋🏻
I'm waiting you to review the victor thruster falcon blue version
Thank you if you notice it.
Hey CK!

Is it possible to make a review of the aurespeed 90k metallic. That would be amazing
Can this drivex 10 metallic beat astrox 100zz and thruster ryuga😅
Class can you please review some more budget friendly rackets.
I want you to review the lining axforce 20
How this compared with arc 11 pro?

I'm working on them! Wide range string testing takes a lot longer than single racket tests 🤣
Plz review Ryuga 2 pro
Hope you'll review thruster ryuga 2 pro asap
Wow happy lunar new year
could you do a review on the thruster ryuga 2 pro next

Sorry CK, what do you mean by 27 x 29 lb, is it mean vertical 27lbs and horizontal 29lbs?
Yep, tension numbers always start with the mains strings (vertical) then the cross strings (horizontal) strings.
How this compared with Halbertec 9000

Current generation rackets feel very different to the old school ones. But if I had to pick one, I’d say maybe the Astrox 100ZZ 🙏🏻
@@CKYew Thank you CK! That’s the one I’ve been eyeing as well!

Which is better :astrox 100zz or drivex 10 metallic
Power wise 100zz, control wise 10x. 10x doesn't really provide good power as per my use

Dx all around more rear court oriented... 100x can do both if you use 3u
Please review ryuga 2 pro
As a Yonex big fan, I am not really sure and know Victor technologies. I would prefer Lining than Victor IMO
Your missing out then , Victor make some great rackets
Bro clearly has never tried the high end Auraspeed

probably never
