@@Bwv1046World class? Not really. Fewer and fewer people care about Bach and that's a good thing. It's boring. I'm only here because of an assignment and I am trying to not fall asleep
Did you notice that the clavicord is an outdated musical instrument? Everyone has totally forgotten this long-lost musical instrument. I meant, this is the kind of musical instrument Johann Sébastien Bach used to play during the late 17th century. 🎼
I pass this off as good relaxing music. Even though it reminded me of Charlie and Humphrey, the KTVU Channel 2 PSA TV commercial Pat McCormick so long ago created. Minus pussey foot. ➖️
Dynamics were only rarely marked in Baroque scores, instead being left to the performer/ensemble to determine. Musicians also often did their own further expressive techniques (eg trills, appogiatura, mordants etc) as part of showing off their command of the music
I guess that at that time you were expected to give your own dynamics to the composition. Not like today where composers want you to play their compositions in a certain strict way.
Karajan is nearly 3x slower than Abbado in the Minuet : extraordinarily lugubrious even by the standards of the time. Worth hearing for comic value. The remainder has a pleasing gravity at times.
Oh god, i need to revive this man, undoubtedly the most terrifc man ever lived on earth. It's impossible someone who know music don't like Bach.
Oh it's a horn players *dream* to play first part on this piece.
It sounds sooo beautiful. The orchestra going in a jovial mood and the horn throwing in those triplet pattern calls... absolutely lovely.
Yeah... "Dream" 😂😂😂
The triplets in mvt 1 give me a reason to live
1. 0:17
2. Adagio 4:08
3. Allegro 7:08
4. Menuet - Trio I - Menuet da capo - Polacca - Menuet da capo - Trio II - Menuet da capo 11:05
Per utramque cavernam grazie
Lovely! I allways need Bach !
Bach is so awesome. If I can become 10% of what he was I know I will be very good.
Even at 1% you'd be world class musician

@@遠坂凛-f5cI'm very glad that I can't agree with you

love this
Wunderbar!!!
00:00 allegro non troppo
4:00 adagio
7:08 allegro
11:03 menuetto
16:20 trio ll
Thanks for the trio 2 stamp
the triplet horn calls in 1 are some of the most puzzling parts in any Bach piece. Why the choice to write in 3?
Feela like 2 horns try to show whos better 🤭
I think bach wanted an outdorrsy feel tp be associated with this concerto, and therefore, he added some loud, boisterous hunting calls
Because Bach loved triplets?
Take a gram of shrooms and you'll soon find out
Studying this for GCSE
Haha same :) Just discovered the most amazing false relations at 6:47 so clever!!!
Well, guess I'll go practice my excerpts now ;)
I wonder if he made this up in his head or played the instruments as he made it to see if it sounded good
