I'll never forget this. I believe it was on the NFL network. Someone asked Michael Irvin to name his top WRs of all time. Of course he named Jerry Rice but then he named Andre Reed. The guys on the show laughed and was like "really Mike?"
This man never got the respect he deserved. Yes there are others with better numbers but those buffalo bills teams were LOADED with talent. There was no need to throw to Dre 20-25 times a game. But when the ball was thrown to him he made special things happen...

KELLY to REED Oh my God. I just remember hearing that on the TV as a kid. My mom still says it to this day. God bless you sir and I have some good cards of you. 30 years later. Let’s go Buffalo #BillsMafia

In 1992 that 4th and 5 play against the oilers was a great catch.

Andre Reed #83! When he made that play in the Lost to the Browns in that playoff game. I knew the Bills were ready! Greatest play in a loss that took them to Super Bowls!

JREASN brought me here. Always be a Packer fan but backed the Super Bowl Bill's. I wore James Loftons JC Penny's Jersey in 4th grade. Bebee is another story.

What you gotta realize about andre is that he was physical marvel..becuz he was jim Kelly's main man and the way that offense was embarrassing people, andre was a marked man in the bounty ball era where you could still take a guys head off....despite this, Andre constantly went over the middle game after game year after year.. and he did it with very few injuries...he was a warrior and is top 5 wide receiver all time.
