I'm in love with how this painting came out! It is completely different from what I started with. 😆 I wanted to show that you can make really beautiful art using just a few colors and that it doesn't have to be a complicated recipe. This painting style and recipe is very beginner friendly and I hope you like it and find it helpful! After I varnish it, this painting will be available in my shop. For This Painting
Ingredients:
- Amsterdam paint: Oxide Black, Ultramarine Violet, Carmine Red, Titanium White
- Pebeo paint: Iridescent Copper, Iridescent Gold
- Golden Gloss Medium
- Water
Recipe:
- Amsterdam paint - about 60% paint 40% water
- Pebeo paint - 1 part paint 1 part Golden Gloss Medium*, then add water to thin. The consistency when drizzled from 1 inch over the paint in the cup: leaves a drizzle mound for a good second and then disappears back into the cup.
*You can use any pouring medium, floetrol, or no pouring medium. Pebeo holds up pretty well with just water and it still makes beautiful cells.
