Love the way you scraped and redid the composition. It’s perfect and thanks for the tip on the red violet. I don’t have that but I do have the red and blue.
Good afternoon Lauren. So nice to meet you 😊. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful talent with us all. Very well presented! I hope all is well in Your world 🌎. Have a great weekend. Mark Bensette Aux Bois 🇨🇦.
Absolutely gorgeous!!❤ Limiting the base to only 2 colors gives better contrast and a variety of the pink shades. When you blew on it, my thought was that you were blowing lufe into your painting😮 Thank you for allowing us to see your process.
Really nice Lauren, you've a beautiful gift and glad you're sharing these gorgeous works art for us to admire and learn from! So the blow torch is for creating the cells, thats on the shopping list too, then ! Wish you all the best and good luck with the channel... put me in the mood for a raspberry ripple, now!
Your paintings are beautiful, I am amazed that you can get cells. I have been trying and had very little success. Even with Floetrol. I also tried a bloom tonight and my paint wouldn’t blow with the hair dryer. I keep trying but it’s so frustrating. The pillow was right out of the can.
Stunning! I’ve only recently found your channel. Do you always use just water as the pouring medium? Each video I see teaches me SO much…without you needing to talk through the whole video. 😊
Hi Lauren, in my studying of paint pours, I heard someone say it's best to paint your canvas beforehand & dry because sometimes torch or chemicals leave a hole that needs to be filled in. Not sure if true because I'm a newbie. The white and Red violet colors are gorgeous together ❤️
Thank you! I’m not sure I’ve actually never used that paint, sorry. Give it a try though! I only use Amsterdam because I know it holds up so well with only water and their titanium white is known for making cells. But I’ve heard great things about DecoArt Americana!
Beautiful!!! Lately I've had a hard time getting cells, nor lacing. How did you get them with just paint and water? I noticed your paints were quite thin. Was that it? This is my next project!
Thank you! I’m using Amsterdam white paint which makes great cells. Also from using the little torch quickly over the paint. The heat breaks up the surface layer and lets the color underneath come through.
This is so stunning. You did it with just two colours that's so magical. By the way, which hair dryer do you use for your Dutch pours? I have one which blows too much even on a low setting so am searching for one that will work for dutch pours.
Thank you! In this painting I’m using a Revlon 1875W and in the smaller paintings I use the travel size Revlon 1875W. I actually had that same problem with my old dryer, it blew paint everywhere no matter what I did 😂 These Revlons work great though!
No medium or silicone, I’m honest with my recipes. It’s possible to get cells without them with the paint brands I use. I also created extra cells with the torch. 🤗
Can u please help me understand how u created those cells in the painting,,i know you said u only used water and paint, but there must be another additive in the paint to create the cells,,please help?
Wow stunning!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🕊️✌️😁🤗
Thank you! 🤗
Love to see how you scrape and change the composition. It’s really helpful and it turned out perfectly!

Thank you Carole, I’m happy it was helpful! 😊
Love the way you scraped and redid the composition. It’s perfect and thanks for the tip on the red violet. I don’t have that but I do have the red and blue.
I love that you blow without a hairdryer, I can’t get the hang of using a hairdryer 😉☹️
The blowdryer can be tricky to get the hang of, keep practicing! But yes, some areas are just too delicate for it. Thanks for watching! 😊

Stunning! I’ve only recently found your channel. Do you always use just water as the pouring medium? Each video I see teaches me SO much…without you needing to talk through the whole video. 😊
Thank you Cate! Usually I use Golden medium gloss in my metallics because I love the effect. 🤗

Thank you!! I’m not sure.. I haven’t heard that 🤷♀️
Love it but I so wanted you to add some of that yellow
Thank you! I should make another one and put the yellow in 🤗
@@LaurenMichelleArt yeah 😀
WHAT DO U USE BESIDE A HAIR BLOWER ?
You can use a handheld blower, a straw or your breath to move the paint
Cc grandeur du canevas merci
It is 11x14” thank you for watching!
Merci beaucoup
just beautiful and not complicated love love.❤ do I have to use Amsterdam paint? I have Deco Art
.Americana
Thank you! I’m not sure I’ve actually never used that paint, sorry. Give it a try though! I only use Amsterdam because I know it holds up so well with only water and their titanium white is known for making cells. But I’ve heard great things about DecoArt Americana!
So pretty…what is your paint to water ratio
Thank you for sharing your talent 😊
Thank you Kimberly! It’s 60:40 😊
Beautiful!!! Lately I've had a hard time getting cells, nor lacing. How did you get them with just paint and water? I noticed your paints were quite thin. Was that it? This is my next project!
Thank you! Yes by using thin paint and using the small butane torch to create cells from the heat. 😊
This is beautiful, I admire how you bring it to perfection !
How long does it take to dry out? Thanks
Thank you! It takes 2 days to dry ☺️
@@LaurenMichelleArt thank you for your response
Gracias. Cómo se absorbe la pintura si no mueve el canvac?
So fantastic. How do you get the cells with only paint and water.
?? Watching from the Philippines....
Thank you! I’m using Amsterdam white paint which makes great cells. Also from using the little torch quickly over the paint. The heat breaks up the surface layer and lets the color underneath come through.

@@LaurenMichelleArt I can totally relate 😄 Thank you so much for sharing 😊
@@LaurenMichelleArt Is it possible for you to share the link of the travel hair dryer? It will be of much help..
Here’s the link from my Amazon affiliate store: amzn.to/3Yls7wv. Travel size: amzn.to/44XQ5QI
@@LaurenMichelleArt Can't thank you enough for this. Much love 🤗
Super,
Question, c’est 40% d’eau et 60% de peinture ? Ou l’inverse
Thank you! Yes that is correct 40% water 60% paint and I’m using Amsterdam.
What kind of torch do you use?
It’s a mini Bernzomatic. I got it from Home Depot and you buy separate refill canisters 😊
WHERE DO U PUT THE WATER MIXED WITH THE PAINT
I mix acrylic paint and water in a cup to make that fluid consistency, then pour onto the canvas 😊
So u didn’t use any medium or silicone oil? Just paint and water really?
No medium or silicone, I’m honest with my recipes. It’s possible to get cells without them with the paint brands I use. I also created extra cells with the torch. 🤗
Русский борщ со сметаной
