Claymore has been such a fantastic weapon since Dark Souls 1. Easily one of my favorite weapons, and is my favorite depending on the game. Elegant design, perfect moveset, usable on almost any build. "Just perfect. Down to the last minute detail."

Nanaya's Torch is a versatile weapon introduced in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC for Elden Ring. Its unique properties and powerful abilities make it a valuable addition to many builds. Key Reasons to Use Nanaya's Torch: Unique Weapon Skill: The torch's weapon skill, Feeble Lord's Frenzied Flame, is a devastating area-of-effect attack that inflicts both physical and fire damage, as well as madness buildup. This makes it effective against a wide range of enemies, especially those vulnerable to madness. Scaling: Nanaya's Torch scales well with Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence, and Faith, making it suitable for a variety of builds. This flexibility allows you to tailor your character to your preferred playstyle. Utility: As a torch, it can be used to light up dark areas, providing a practical advantage in exploration. Lore Significance: The torch's lore ties into the story of the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, offering a deeper connection to the game's narrative. Ideal Builds for Nanaya's Torch: Strength-based builds: The torch's physical damage output makes it a strong choice for strength-focused characters. Faith-based builds: The weapon's ability to inflict madness and its scaling with Faith make it a good option for faith-oriented builds. Hybrid builds: Due to its scaling with multiple attributes, Nanaya's Torch can be effectively used by hybrid builds that combine elements of strength, dexterity, intelligence, and faith. In conclusion, Nanaya's Torch is a powerful and versatile weapon that offers unique gameplay mechanics and a strong lore connection. If you're looking for a weapon that can excel in various playstyles, Nanaya's Torch is definitely worth considering.
Even though I’ve been released from my obligation, I still gotta say- charged-heavy focused fighting styles like this are great on str-arc builds that utilize *SACRED BLOODY FLESH.* Seppuku is an excellent burst damage alternative to royal knight resolve, both highlighting weapons that already have great movesets, and I’ve even gotten a bunch of one shot bleeds with attacks like the zwei’s charged heavy. If you want to get really goofy with it use a seppuku stick then hardswap to a bleed braggart’s roar weapon like greatsword or nightrider glaive, with the roar talisman and highland axe in addition to Godfrey’s and LoB’s (very talisman hungry build, only room left for bull goat’s sadly, or you could pump end for decent armor and use something like Spear or Two-Handed Sword instead), you can do some really absurd damage. I’ve hit upwards of 2500 on well-armored hosts. Triple dipping on conditional attack buffs is really unnecessary most of the time, but the lure of huge damage numbers can be too strong.
Hey Chase, after watching hundreds of your videos I finally decided to try invasions myself doing cosplay/NPC builds (carian knight etc) to try and give the team a fun and memorable fights, and I'm shocked how many fights I win thanks to the basic fundamentals I learned from watching your videos, like how important poise is, and using lots of different weapons for the right situation. I had one fight where they blendered me down to 1hp, I jumped off a staircase healed and then I got a perfect triple kill with the double straight swords combo because I learned how good they are from your videos. Thanks for all the hard work you put into these videos, gonna keep on watching and learning from the best :)

16:11 What you say here makes no sense if you think about it. If people want 1v1s, they’ll go to the arena. Not kill the invader for an afk host who’s wasting everyone’s time. It’s always weird to me how poorly people who invade for a living understand why people coop in these games. Not everyone is a ganker.
Chase, if the players won't heal for you to test the build potential, just start using Warming Stones. Forcefully heal them to make sure you slap them as hard as possible.
A talisman that buffed damage for a short amount of time after you take damage would be so cool for builds like this. It wouldnt even be bad in PVE either since you can sometimes trade with bosses. It would be a nice addition for tank builds.
