Thanks for your interest ‘brvcrzy’. I am based in New Jersey, and I purchase all of my silkpainting equipment from Dharma Trading, which is located in California. (They do ship internationally!) Not certain where you’re located, but there are two other possibilities; that is, ‘three-point steel thumb tacks’ which are about half an inch in diameter; or you can use steel pins. NB. Check out the Dharma Trading catalogue for other silk painting tools. Now, you can check out my source of supplies:- www.dharmatrading.com (This outlet caters to artists and crafters. The agents are artists themselves.) Hope this helps. Looking forward to seeing some of your work. Do send photos to clara@claradesigns.com Check out some more of my work on my Instagram @claradesignsart
Hi there Asha Sinha, I have never used the PVC pipe, I prefer the wooden frames. There are also adjustable metal frames that can be used. How would you adhere the silk to the PVC frame? If you know how, and you are comfortable with PVC, go right ahead. Hope this helps.
@@claramitchell746 thanks for replying we can fix with big paper clips on PVC pipe but you r right wooden frames will be better when you are starting online classes pl let us know through your channel
The frames I use are 72 inches long by 16 inches wide. These are already cut lengths, which are used by artists. I use them for my silk painting. Hope this helps. Continue to enjoy the process.
Thank you
