I live in league city and TNMP doesn't have a lot of customers so our power is never down very long. But you can never get a straight answer on the estimates.

fact is there i no excuse for this, they very folks paid to run and manage these companies are to blame. There is no real excuse, this was not a big or strong hurricane event for this area. Hurricanes and storms are normal for this part of the country. It's not like they didn't have warning or time to plan and prepare. Reality is nothing will happen to very folks are responsible, they will still have jobs and salaries. Heck they will be asking for raise. Meanwhile customers will do without.

My power came on for 1 hour ,and went right back off .

The rest of the country is on a national power grid. When there's a problem, power is turned off right there, but power is brought in from the grid for everyone else.
