You just witnessed the greatest vocalist alive. He’s from Kazakhstan, sings in 15 different languages, plays multiple musical instruments and is currently working on his PhD in music. He’s been training since the age of 5, has a 6-8 octave range (depending on who you ask) has absolute pitch, and is an amazingly humble man. He sings every genre (even raps) He has many recent performances, but I would highly recommend "Sinful Passion “ 2018 and then "Stranger" 2021, "Ikanaide" 2021, "Adagio" 2017, "Ave Maria". Each performance will leave you stunned.

If you want to know if Dimash is the best singer in the wourld you have to hear more then one song. He is so versatile that every song you will hear will be different . He has high range, low range and everything in between. He sings in 14 languages, all different genre, play seven instruments, modeling, acting .... there is nothing he can't do. And on top of everything he is kind personality, man of high moral standards.

Dimash is from Kazakhstan, a country that locates in between Asia, Russia and Europe. He came to China to participate in this contest which is by invitation only. All the other contestants are professional singers, much more seniors, popular and well established singers and he was the youngest, unknown and from foreign country. Imagine an unknown foreigner came to US to compete with Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran, etc. that’s how much pressure he was. However that night made him an overnight sensation with 700 million viewers of this performance alone and the next day he must be escorted by security guards due to immense popularity.

You haven’t heard of Dimash because he won’t sign with producers in the West because he wants to do with his career what he wants to do! I don’t think a producer from the West would allow him to sing opera for example! Dimash likes to sing in ALL genres and he really doesn’t need any help from the Western music industry (which is basically Satanic in my view). He is already extremely successful all over the world. His concerts are always sold out very quickly and fans worldwide travel to his concerts wherever they may be. All vocal coaches on TH-cam have given him the accolade of being the greatest vocalist of all time with his perfect technique, emotional singing and his epic stage presence as well as his perfection in all registers, in 7 octaves. He has multi millions of fans (300 million in China alone!) all over the world and he has fan clubs in 140 countries including lots in the US. No, he really doesn’t need the Western Music Industry and I for one, am very pleased about that!

The song comes from the famous Canadian-French rock opera 'Starmania' 1978, well known in French-speaking countries) and is one of the most difficult songs to sing and in 2017 made Dimash a mega-star overnight.
That's how it all started: In 2017 Dimash received a wildcard for the “The Singer” competition in China. He was the youngest participant ever (22 years old). Foreign participants were actually forbidden at that time. The director ignored the ban, believing Dimash would only stay 1 or 2 episodes and then go home.
The competition is not a talent show. Only professional, award-winning singers participate. Nobody knew or heard Dimash before and he had to start first ... and after his first song "SOS" Dimash captured the hearts of over 600 million viewers and a mega-star was born overnight. The next day, bodyguards stood in front of his door.
The competition consisted of 14 rounds over 4 months. The jury consisted of 500 spectators who knew music, not just your average "Joe". They were well screened to be sure they would be able to judge the musicians fairly and competently. With up to 1 billion people watching this TV program and international interest was aroused. The performances were uploaded to TH-cam ... and so we became Dimash's Dears.
The Chinese organizers planned... but Dimash came, sang and stayed ... for the next 3 years in China ... but he only finished second in the competition because he is not Chinese (conditions have changed: 2018, Jessie J. won).

Dimash is definitely considered to be the best singer in the world by everyone apart from himself. His talent is only matched by his humility and amazingly lovable personality.
It doesn't matter which song you pick from his TH-cam channel. Every one will amaze and surprise you every time but if you are only planning on reacting to three songs then I would recommend Ikanaide and Samaltau to get a good mix of what he is capable of.

A lot of recommendations which are great but you might check out Dimash's Playlist for the Dimash Digital Show held online on January 2021 due to the Covid quarantine. Every one of the songs and performances are out of this world. Old songs and new songs recorded live on a Ukrainian stage. (There is a behind the scenes video of the preparations for the online concert on Dimash's channel. ) So far only two songs are missing, Love of Tired Swans and Omir Oter but both have beautiful music videos.

Dimash is the quintessence of music, it's another level. In my 61 years of life I have never seen such a talented and incredible artist. Each song will surprise you, it has all the registers of the voice from a G0 to a D8, and it is still believed that it can go higher in its register and in all those registers it walks with mastery. He sings in 14 languages and excels in classical, lyrical, pop, jazz, rock, rap, neoclassical, crossover, and folk music genres. He is a very humble and respectful singer, he is a superstar Asia, the East, post-Soviet countries and only the pandemic delayed his invasion of the West that is already happening. He plays 8 musical instruments, is a musical composer and arranger, has the gift of "Absolute Ear" and has 23 years of musical training in his 28 years of life. As you saw, Dimash had already started making waves in his own country (Kazakhstan) and a few ex Soviet countries at that time, but this competition in China pushed him onto TH-cam and from there to the rest of the western world. As we speak, the sales for tickets to his next concert in Almaty just opened a couple of hours ago and already the best seats closest to the stage are nearly sold out. Of course, I shall be going, and this will be my second trip to Kazakhstan from the US to hear him.

This Kazakh man is THE One and ONLY, the Best Singer Ever Walked on This ENTIRE PLANET. As a Performer he is intense, passionated and very moving. As a vocalist there are no words in any dictionary of any language that can describe him with total justice. As a human being, he is the son, the brother, the friend that we all would like to have. As I remember, Dimash didn't win that contest, he was the first runner-up. His last name starts with Q, not K. Try his The Stranger (in English) and Olimpico/Ogni Pietra (in Italian).
Look for his song Stranger is more recent. His voice is still improving and getting more mature. He has a great gift on his vocal cord, absolute hearing and a huge amount of hard work.

Some info about Dimash. He is born in May 24 1994. He is from Kazakhstan and has been music schooled sense 5 years old and told the teacher that the piano was out of tune! He sings about 7 octaves or so! No one knows he is still learning. He sings higher than the piano can go! He also writs and compose own songs, plays bunch of instruments including Dombra there own Kazakh instrument that has a sound you can’t believe and onley 2 strings! He also sings in about 14 (Kazakh, Turkish, Usceck, Russian, Ukranian, Serbien, Bulgarian Chinese , Italien, Spamish, French, English, German, Japanese ) languages and speaks 3 so far (Kazakh, Russian and English).
Dimash has an excellent education: he graduated from the College of Music with a degree in Opera Singing, university of arts in the specialty "Estrada and jazz vocals", and on June 18, 2020, he completed a master's degree in Composition. He graduated with a degree in opera from the music school at the University of Aktobe (2014), a degree in pop/jazz from the National Arts University in Nur Sultan (2018), just completed his Master's degree in composition (June 2020) and have started his PhD.
He have done some contests in his life but the one I think got the worlds intension is "The Singer" (Allso called "I am a singer" or "Singer") from China in 2017. The Singer is a program for established Chinese singers to face off against each other invites only in a competition where votes were cast by an audience of 500.
Dimash Qudaibergen was a last-minute inclusion (a 'dark horse'). But his performance of 'SOS D'un Terrien En Detresse' electrified the audience, his fellow competitors and the viewers who numbered in the billions (this program was one of the most-watched in China and outside).
They also got him the nickname "Imported little brother" the day after the show. They also had to get bodyguard for Dimash do to the famous over night both in China and also the world. Dimash wasn’t really prepared for that. He had come to China at 22 years young man by him self and didn’t know the language. They hade contracted him for 2 shows because they didn’t think he cold go further than that. He didn’t think they would like him. So he was nervous this performers that he had also to start the show with. But they hade to change that do to his famous over night.
Dimash got many new friends from this show and he said at some point he learned a lot from it to.

If I remember correct he wrote the music to this one when he was 19 years old and lyrics by Oral-kosai Baisengir, who was a poet/lyricist father of a friend of Dimash. Also in this show another contestant "Terry Lin" that was about 51 years young here he considered Dimash a dear friend at this point. But Dimash started telling them al he was his father around episode 9 I think!! That is a big respect and love from his part of the world to call him! Terry was gladly accepting it. They are still that close and also invites each other to there concerts and sometimes singing this song in duet to. They sang it in Jackie Chang movie festival in 2019 and Jackie was choked in how good they were. Terry was known as an alien before Dimash and they have similar vocals to.
