A Rede Globo na época impediu ($$$$$) a entrada dessa música no Brasil quando ela já fazia sucesso no mundo todo. Isso porque a Globo queria que tivesse tempo de começar a sua, até então nova novela das 9 chamada SELVA de Pedra no mesmo tempo com a entrada dessa música no Brasil e nas principais rádios da época, pois a Globo só gostava de lançar suas trilhas sonoras nas suas novelas quando as músicas eram inéditas no Brasil. A música entrou no Brasil quase 1 ano depois que estourou nas paradas de sucesso internacionais. Na época não existia Internet e a manipulação era bem mais fácil que hoje em dia. Música top essa.

I got to know this song (and video) intimately one night in a pub back in the 80’s. Someone played it over and over and over again on the video jukebox for over 2 hours straight! Good job I liked it!
Closing my eyes imagining listening to this while driving my Suzuki Carry down to the coast ahhh sweetest moment ever. Wind blowing from the window of my car to my hair making it dance with it.
